The Off-Season is officially coming and the rapper dropped the first taste of the project on Friday with “interlude,” despite promising himself that he’d hold off from releasing a single this time around. It seems that a new album isn’t the only thing he has in store because he hit the ‘Gram with a massive announcement: The Off-Season documentary. Cole offered a teaser for the project which is set to drop tomorrow (May 10th) at 1 p.m. EST. “Applying Pressure The Off-Season Documentary,” he wrote in the caption.

“This is the moment that a lot of your favorite rappers hit a crossroad,” he says in the trailer. “Are you okay with getting comfortable? Can you leave no stone unturned creatively? And when I thought about that, I was like, ‘Nah, I’m not cool with that.'”

The documentary appears to be a rare glimpse into his creative zone for the upcoming project. Check out the trailer below. How are you feeling about the new Cole track? Sound off in the comments.

Bradley Beal Comments On Injury That Ended His 50-Point Night

Bradley Beal was having himself an incredible performance last night as he scored 50 points in just 39 minutes on the floor. The Wizards were in a massive deadlock with the Indiana Pacers and it was Beal’s play that ultimately helped them stay in the game. Unfortunately, Beal tweaked his hamstring down the stretch, and eventually, he had to come out of the game entirely.

The Wizards went on to win in overtime although, during the extra stanza, Beal was unable to be on the court. Following the game, Beal told The Athletic’s Fred Katz that he wanted to shine in front of his parents who had to travel a long way to see him play. As for the injury, it is going to be evaluated today as the Wizards have a game on Monday night.

“I had the honor of my parents being at the game tonight. They drove up 3-4 hours. So the last thing I wanna do is waste their time, play like ass. My mom wouldn’t let me live that one down,” Beal said before explaining his injury. “I didn’t think anything of it. I just kept playing.”

Hopefully, Beal will be able to return sooner rather than later as he is currently in the midst of a scoring title battle with Steph Curry.

The Kid LAROI Makes “SNL” Debut Alongside Miley Cyrus

It was an eventful evening for Saturday Night Live which enlisted Elon Musk as the host. The Tesla innovator and Dogefather, as some call him, had crypto investors in a whirlwind as they expected the price of the memecoin to skyrocket upwards of $1. Unfortunately, it did the exact opposite. However, it was still a fun evening for those involved including Miley Cyrus who kicked off the show with a Mother’s Day tribute cover of “Light of a Clear Blue Morning” by her own godmother, Dolly Parton.

The cast offered hilarious skits surrounding Gen Z and Space X (which Miley Cyrus appeared in) but fans also received a stellar performance from Miley. The former child star performed “Plastic Hearts” and also grabbed The Kid LAROI to perform the remix of “Without You” that dropped last month. This marks LAROI’s SNL debut and considering the trajectory of his career so far, it seems likely that we’ll see him perform on his own in the near future.

The Kid Laroi explained that a mutual friend connected him with Miley during an interview with Variety. “So we just linked up, met in the studio, she cut the record and then we went and hung out and had a little party. She’s cool as f—,” he added. “I remember when my cousins used to force me to watch Hannah Montana, so collaborating with her was pretty cool.”

Man Arrested For Allegedly Pushing 60-Year-Old Onto Subway Tracks In Harlem

New York City is recognized throughout the country for its underground railroad system. While useful, the unique transit system does scare off many of those unwilling to face suspected dangers associated with riding on the train. According to local news outlets, a man from the Bronx has been arrested after officers say he pushed a 60-year-old man onto subway tracks in East Harlem.

The man was able to walk away with any injuries as there was no train scheduled at the station at the time of the attack, the assault adds to the increasing number of subway assaults happening throughout the city. Authorities report the latest incident took place at 135th Street and Lenox Avenue station around 5 am on Saturday.

This is where investigators explain 25-year-old Keshon Malachi approached him from his rear. According to officers, Malachi pushed the man on the tracks for absolutely no reason.

“It’s just kind of sad to hear stuff like that happening nowadays, especially with things going on in the world. It’s like, why bring more pain and evil into the world?” Queens resident Briana Outlaw said. “It’s a little bit frightening, a little bit.”

Paramedics followed up by taking the victim to the hospital with minor injuries. He is expected to be OK in the end. As for Malachi, he was subsequently arrested and is facing two assault charges including one count of reckless endangerment.

Mayor Bill de Blasio pointed out that transit assaults are up about 20% compared to the same time last year. 600 officers have been added to subway stations to deal with it and the city is currently working on more solutions.

Bagg recently flexed his show rate which is upwards of $200K these days but last week, he faced some criticism from a TikToker who deemed his live shows boring. Tell em post da others ones.”

Fans might have not shared video from his concerts that gained the same attention as the TikToker but Bagg came to clarify that his live performances are LIT. Tyson Fury Challenged By Canelo Alvarez’s Teammate

In a few months from now, Tyson Fury is expected to fight against the likes of Anthony Joshua in a bid to unite the heavyweight division and declare an undisputed champion of the world. Considering who Fury has beaten over the last couple of years, he is expected to come away with the victory although you can never count out Joshua who is a superb technical fighter with a massive punch.

Now, however, Fury is being challenged by the likes of Frank Sanchez who is undefeated to start his career. Sanchez is a member of Team Canelo and he got to go face-to-face with Fury ahead of Alvarez’s match against Billy Joe Saunders. According to Elie Seckbach os EsNews, Sanchez actually said “Hey! Fight me next” although Fury essentially told him to buzz off.

In the end, Sanchez won although it came in controversial fashion as he hit Aguilera behind the head, leading to a TKO in Sanchez’s favor. Despite this ending, Sanchez is a rising star in the heavyweight division and if Fury beats Joshua, then Sanchez could be a potential challenger later on down the line.

50 Cent Wins Big At The Houston Rodeo Show

Texas is no Queens but it seems that 50 Cent is adapting well to his new environment. Earlier this week, the rapper announced that he was moving to Houston, though he maintained that his love for New York City remains strong. It’s not entirely clear why he’s there but one could suspect it has something to do with television production.

Anyways, the rapper’s clearly enjoying his time in Houston these days. On Friday, the rapper appeared at Rodeo Houston for the 2021 Rodeo Uncorked International Wine Competition where he became the Reserve Grand Champion for Le Chemin du Roi. Unfortunately, he did take an L during the evening while betting alongside other wealthy folks for a bottle of wine. The rapper said he put up $175K for a bottle and he ultimately ended up losing.

“When they told me I won, I almost fainted. I was really excited,” Fif told ABC 13. “I am very proud of this.”

The rapper’s appearance in Houston this weekend had many locals thrilled. Fif was spotted with several fans, posing for pictures with a massive cowboy hat on.

Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner publicly welcomed Fif to the city with an IG post of the two during a toy drive. “It is great to hear that you have chosen our city as your new home. Welcome to the most diverse city in the nation,” he wrote.

Young Crazy & Icewear Vezzo Bring The Energy On New Track “Shell Jumping”

Coming out of Virginia, Young Crazy continues to show promise, and recently, he decided to link up with Detroit’s own Icewear Vezzo for a brand new track called “Shell Jumping.” Icewear Vezzo is fresh off of a song with Lil Durk and when you combine two artists with menacing flows together, you end up with a track that is certainly going to get you hyped up whenever you’re out in the gym.

“Shell Jumping” is filled with hard drums and sinister piano lines that immediately give you the sense that both of these artists mean business. Both Young Crazy and Icewear Vezzo are at their best on this song as their bars give you a sense of danger and when paired with the production, it feels like a movie is being played out.
