Kehlani Links With Amorphous On R&B Jam “Back Together”

He closed out April by enigmatically posting on Instagram that May would be a big month, and it’s all due to his release with Kehlani. Amorphous gained major steam in the industry throughout quarantine as he presented a worldwide social media audience with mashups of their favorite hits. This caught the attention of mainstream artists and soon, Amorphous was working with Fat Joe on his song “Sunshine (The Light)” alongside DJ Khaled. Then, there was the time that Amorphous tweeted that his Macbook was on its last leg, so, naturally, Oprah Winfrey let him know that she’d be buying him a new one.

After spending much of his time remixing the popular sounds of other artists, Amorphous is back, this time with original music in partnership with Kehlani. The pair dropped their uptempo R&B jam “Back Together” where the singer belts out lyrics about linking up—and flexing on—an ex. Stream “Back Together” and let us know what you think.

Quotable Lyrics

Heard that the streets have been talkin’
You’ve been askin’ all about me
Like I’m not f*ckin’ with somebody
They fall back when I say I got it
‘Cause it ain’t they place (Place)
And you can say it to my face now
Been a little while lookin’ FaceTime
Pull up to my crib, face to face time

Young Nudy Drops “Dr. EV4L” Project Ft. 21 Savage, Lil Uzi Vert, G Herbo

The hype surrounding this release was no joke as Young Nudy has been steadily counting down the days until the release of his latest project, Dr. EV4L, for over a month. The 13-track album doesn’t host too many features, but the few Nudy included were some of the hottest hitmakers in the game. The rapper called on 21 Savage, G Herbo, and Lil Uzi Vert to lend their vocals to the project, and fans are already praising Nudy’s latest effort. Stream Dr. EV4Land let us know what you think.

Wendy Williams Salutes Nicki Minaj For Being An “Icon,” Rapper Responds

In the past, Wendy Williams hasn’t minced words when it comes to news regarding Nicki Minaj. One minute she’s paying the rapper a compliment and the next she’s putting her on blast for marrying Kenneth Petty because he’s a registered sex offender. Wendy has shaded Nicki for years and just when Barbz think that the famed talk show host is back to being nice to the Queen rapper, Williams once again draws that line. There’s no knowing how long this white flag of peace will last, but on the most recent episode of her talk show, Wendy Williams is back to praising Nicki Minaj.

“Nicki, to me, is definitely an icon and definitely a legend,” said Williams. “She’s done things that these young girls haven’t even touched, even though they have hit music, but Nicki is different than the rest.”

It was a brief mention by Williams who was most likely taking note of Nicki’s accomplishments after the rapper released Beam Me Up Scotty to DSPs and that new track “Seeing Green” with Drake and Lil Wayne may have helped change her mind, as well. Nicki saw the video of the remarks and commented, “You’re an icon & legend as well @wendyshow.”

Cordial and polite. Check out the clip of the Wendy Williams Show below.

Lil Durk Ignores 6ix9ine’s Continued Insults Using King Von’s Name

If he’s going to make stacks for performing, Lil Durk wants to make sure that he puts on a show that his fans will enjoy. The Chicago rapper is one of the leading voices in the Rap game at the moment and he’s capitalizing off of every opportunity that will help his team. Durk doesn’t skip a beat at showing off his iced-out chains, luxury whips, and jet-setting antics, but at a recent concert, Durkio took control of the scene after he felt like the energy was off.

In a clip shared by Akademiks, Durk is seen with his full entourage behind him on stage. Dozens of people take over the space making it difficult for Lil Durk to move.

It’s reported that the people on stage weren’t turning up, either, so Durk is seen in the clip repeatedly telling them to move back and it’s said that some people may have been kicked off stage. Durk hopped in Akademiks’s comments to clarify the situation. “200k a show can’t be low energy [open hands emoji],” the rapper wrote. The moment was then interrupted with more trolling from Durk’s foe Tekashi 6ix9ine who once again mentioned King Von.

“Von thought he was gonna slide [crying laughing emojis],” 6ix9ine suggested. “He on stage with a mic singing love songs [sideways crying laughing emojis].” It doesn’t look like the colorful rapper will be letting up anytime soon. Check it out below.

Troy Ave Targets Casanova: “U Sold Ya Soul For Protection”

The longstanding beef between Troy Ave and Casanova 2x is far from over. The pair have been trading insults on wax and social media for years, often dropping scathing bars about one another while involving other artists in their ongoing animosity. However, artists often find peace as they endure similar circumstances, and considering Troy Ave is fighting a case and Casanova is currently incarcerated after turning himself in to federal authorities, it was believed that they wouldn’t be going at each other for the time being. Troy axed that theory.

Earlier today (May 17), Troy Ave uploaded the art for “Assanova” that included an animated rat wearing a “2x” chain. He then included lyrics from his track “Richer Than My Haters” pulled from his recent release, Kill or Be Killed. “Casanova crying folks he jus settin up stage to tell / How the fuk u crying broke wit jus 90 days in a cell,” Troy wrote.

“U sold ya soul for protection / They ain’t protect u to swell / Damn caswell,” he continued. “U the blood they extort on / This occurrence is CLASSIK LIKE THE BOY U TOLD ON / Dont make me retrieve da paperwork that u wrote on / Can’t get a visit from None of them rappers D*ck’s u rode on.” Casanova has repeatedly taken to social media to lament over those farewell friends who haven’t reached out or helped him while he’s been locked up.

It looks as if Troy Ave isn’t offering any sympathy. Check out his post below.

Lil Reese Update Given By Rapper’s GF: “Real N*ggas Know Wassup”

For the second time in six months, Lil Reese was attacked in Chicago. Back in November 2020, Reese was the victim of an assault while he was at a light while inside a vehicle. Someone pulled up next to him and opened fire, shooting the rapper in the neck. After months of recovery and rehabilitation, Reese regained the ability to speak and resumed his career, however, he once again faced a shooting attack in his hometown. This time, it’s reported that Reese was injured after a bullet grazed his eyeball, and there have been speculative and unconfirmed reports that he has lost the ability to see in that eye.

Fans sat anxiously awaiting news regarding Reese’s recovery and soon, there were brief updates shared to the rapper’s Instagram Story. The messages assured the public that Reese would once again recover from his injuries and his girlfriend, Kimani, reportedly gave her own update on Instagram, as well.

“He good, I’m good, we good,” she reportedly wrote. “Y’all stay off them blogs & don’t believe sh*t they say on these apps! Real n*ggas know wassup [one hundred emoji] thank you for the concern & the mfs showing love. All u internet goofys stay out the way [hand peace sign emoji][praying hands emoji][red heart emoji].”

It’s unclear who those “goofys” are that he was referring to, but Tekashi 6ix9ine has continued his beef with Reese by trolling him following the incident. Multiple reports have stated that Reese was in a stolen vehicle with two other men, who were also shot during the altercation.

Coi Leray Shares Mugshot & Reveals She’s Completed Her Album

She may not want to add her name to conversations involving “female rappers” comparisons, but after releasing her mugshot on the same day as Nicki Minaj, it can’t be helped. Coi Leray’s career has been steadily on an upward momentum with each new release, but it was her “No More Parties (Remix)” with Lil Durk that help catapult her to new heights.

Next, Coi’s “Big Purr” with Pooh Shiesty continued the hype, and as she puts her beef with father Benzino behind and focuses on things that make her elevate, as she says, Leray reflects on a time in her life that was less than favorable.

“Lol this is crazy … I just took my braids out [upside down smiley face],” Leray wrote in the caption of her mugshots. “I was getting money!!!! They don’t know a thing about me … smh [face palm emoji].” With the trip down memory lane also came an update for fans. “Album is done man I’m ready,” she added.

Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj also shared a similar post as she penned a note about her 2003 arrest on weapons possession charges. Leray recently took to Twitter to share that she’s down for Nicki to jump on yet another remix to “No More Parties,” but it’s unclear if the “Seeing Green” rapper will answer the social media call.

Check out Coi Leray’s mugshots below.

T.I. Investigated On Allegations Of Rape, Drugging Woman In 2005: Report

There were some who believed that the initial accusations against T.I. and his wife Tiny would eventually blow over, but it’s being reported by Deadline that the couple’s legal troubles are just beginning. T.I. and Tiny’s former friend Sabrina Peterson first suggested that the couple was engaging in illegal activities with women, and soon, she resurfaced with audio and stories from the couple’s alleged accusers. T.I. and Tiny have repeatedly denied that they took advantage of, hurt, assaulted, or drugged anyone.

There are reportedly upwards of two dozen women who have shared stories reaching back into the early 2000s, and it’s a 2005 alleged rape that is now being actively investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department.

Deadline confirmed with the LAPD that T.I. is being investigated and the outlet detailed this particular alleged incident. The accuser, only referred to as Jane Doe, reportedly met with detectives last month. She claimed that back in 2005, she met T.I. and Tiny at a nightclub and went back to their hotel with them. She said that once back inside of the room, T.I. gave her a drink, and “she soon found herself naked, in a shower and on a bed with the Harrises, as she felt increasingly sick.”

Attorney Tyrone Blackburn in handling her case as well as Rachelle Jenks, a woman who filed a similar report with authorities in Las Vegas. Steve Sadow, T.I.’s lawyer, told Deadline: “The Harrises have not spoken to or been contacted by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), the Las Vegas Police Department (LVPD) or, indeed, any member of law enforcement from any other jurisdiction in the country.”

T.I. nor Tiny have addressed LAPD’s investigation.
