KILLY Embraces The Toxicity On “HEART OF GLASS”

Toronto artist KILLY has been on an impressive run over the last four years. Starting with his single “Killimanjaro,” KILLY has proven himself to be a solid hitmaker who has a knack for beat selection and catchy hooks. While he might not have the mainstream support he deserves, KILLY has continued to grind it out and on Friday, he dropped a brand new project called KILLSTREAK 2 which is filled with bangers.

One of the highlights on the track is “HEART OF GLASS” which sees KILLY embracing his toxic side. Lyrically, KILLY speaks about not having room for people in his life and how he would rather just focus on his career, material goods, and getting money. This is all delivered over an energetic beat that fits with the overall vibe of the album.

You can stream the brand new track, below.

Quotable Lyrics:

Let me talk to the beat, it don’t talk back (Talk, talk)
If I talk to your ho, that’s a soul snatch (Soul)
Put some crocodile teeth in the Glock head
Heart of glass, drop dead then I’m heartless

Jay-Z Reportedly Interested In Owning A Piece Of The Washington Football Team

Jay-Z has always been known for having phenomenal business acumen and with all of his ventures in mind, it only makes sense that he would look towards owning an NFL team. Over the past couple of years, there has been a movement to have more black owners throughout the league which is effectively in response to the way Colin Kaepernick was treated by the NFL and so many executives. Diddy has pondered owning an NFL squad, and now, it seems like Jay-Z is making a real effort to get himself into the league.

According to Pro Football Talk, it’s been reported by numerous sources that Jay-Z has been liquidating some of his assets in order to build the liquidity necessary to buy a minority stake in the Washington Football Team. As many NFL fans know, Dan Snyder is in the midst of buying out his other partners so that he can own 100 percent of the team. From there, he is expected to take on new partners, and it seems like Jay-Z might be one of them.

As a minority owner, Jay-Z wouldn’t have much of a say when it comes to the team’s operations although it would certainly set him up to be a majority owner of another team, somewhere down the line. Having Jay-Z as an owner in the NFL would be a very exciting prospect, and it would certainly be interesting to see him with a franchise like Washington.

Of course, nothing is set in stone yet as these are just rumblings. With this in mind, keep it locked to HNHH for all of the latest updates from around the NFL.

The Money Is Fallin’ In On Blaatina’s Latest Single

Clayton County, Georgia rapper Blaatina has been putting in work to improve as a rapper in the years following her viral 2017 track “I Can.” While coming into her own as an artist, the young femcee has collaborated with artists such as Stunna4Vegas and NLE Choppa. Now, the

“Money Fallin” is a hard-hitting track that finds Blaatina in a boastful mood, as she likens her cash flow to a 4PF artist‘s. Even in a week surrounding by releases from DMX, Ohgeesy, and Blueface, the nearly two-minute song is still one of the most impressive new drops.

Produced by Los Angeles-based production duo cut&dry, “Money Fallin” is a minimal, yet catchy tune that’s reminiscent of other famous bass-heavy rap hits like Cardi B’s “Up” and 2 Chainz’s “Watch Out.” The hard-hitting instrumental is the perfect soundscape for Blaatina’s whispery flow, and she handles the mid-song beat switch with confidence and prowess.

Kyrie Irving Speaks Out After A Rough Night Against The Celtics

Kyrie Irving’s return to Boston was highly publicized this past week especially thanks to his comments about Celtics fans and whether or not they would engage in racist smears throughout the game. Celtics fans have a negative reputation and with the playoffs in full swing, Irving wanted everything to be respectful and about basketball.

In the end, Celtics fans were on their best behavior although they did shower Kyrie with boos throughout the match. Kyrie seemed to be a bit shaken up by the reception and as a result, he had a bad game, only scoring 16 points. With Jayson Tatum scoring 50 for the Celtics, the Nets lost the game and now, Brooklyn only has a 2-1 series lead. The crowd is set to be bigger on Sunday, and as Kyrie noted, he’s ready for the challenge that awaits him.

“I mean, it’s basketball,” he said. “I’ve been in a few environments in my life so like I said, as long as it’s strictly the nature of basketball out there and there’s nothing extra, I’m cool with it. Just get some preparation with the team tomorrow and get prepared for Sunday. Going to keep it straight basketball. […] “We’re expecting a bigger crowd on Sunday. Happy it was a great start to seeing what this environment is going to be like. Just looking forward to the challenge.”

Needless to say, it was just one bad game for Kyrie who probably had a lot of emotions prior to the match. Now, he will get a chance to redeem himself and we’re sure he’ll put on quite the show in Game 4.

IDK Delivers A Go-Go Mix Of “Shoot My Shot”

IDK has been in the game for quite some time now. Formerly known as Jay IDK, he released a slew of mixtapes under that name before releasing his debut album Is He Real in 2019 with uncredited guest appearances from DMX, Pusha T, JID, Tyler the Creator, Burna Boy, and more.

He experienced a new wave of recognition this year after dropping his fiery collab with Offset “Shoot My Shot.” The duo unleashed the single in late April and from the looks of it, it’s shaping up to be one of the biggest hits of his career thus far.

The London-born, Maryland-raised artist recruits production duo New Impressionz for a re-imagined go-go mix of the single. Much of the original lyrics remain intact in the drum-heavy new go-go mix of the song, relying heavily on the catchy hook of the OG song. Notably, Offset’s verse in the original song is also omitted.

Chuck Liddell Divulges On Potentially Fighting Jake Paul

Jake Paul has pissed off a lot of people throughout his journey in the boxing world. At this point, every single fighter on the planet wants a piece of him, as they would love to be the guy to knock him out, once and for all. So far, Paul has been able to maneuver the minefield in a masterful way as he continues to provoke people without even having to fight them for real. Recently, Paul got into a social media war of words with Chuck Liddell, who recently said “I’m ready anytime for that clown.”

This was in response to Jake saying that Liddell had begged him for a photo following the win against Ben Askren. On Friday, TMZ caught up with the 51-year-old in Los Angeles, where they asked him whether or not he would truly be down to fight Paul. As you can see in the clip below, Liddell would rather do other things with his life.

“He’s not good enough to fight me,” Liddell said. “It just doesn’t make sense for him. None of it makes sense for this guy. He’s going to risk getting hurt like that.”

For now, it seems like Dillon Danis is the likely next challenger for Paul. However, we could also see Jake take on Tommy Fury, which would be a lot of fun when you consider how Tyson Fury would be behind the whole ordeal.

Let us know who you want to see Paul fight next, in the comments below.

DMX & Snoop Dogg Channel Marvin Gaye On “Take Control”

DMX is one of the most beloved figures in hip-hop history. His passing has brought great sadness to the hip-hop community, and over the past month or so, fans have been wondering if and when posthumous material would be released. When Swizz Beatz announced he would be executive producing an album called Exodus, there was a lot to be excited about. Fans were heavily anticipating the arrival of the project and on Friday, Swizz and X’s estate delivered. Numerous songs have made a great first impression, including “Take Control” which features Snoop Dogg, and even a Marvin Gaye sample.

The sample in question comes from the track “Sexual Healing,” which is a pretty good indication of the vibe of the song. In their verses, X and Snopp speak directly to their partners as they go into intimate directions with their storytelling. These verses are tightly written and with both men staying on topic, “Take Control” proves to be a cohesive track with some great production.
