Saweetie Declares She Wants “A Thug N*gga” In Preview Of New Music

It may be time for another Saweetie single and she’s previewing her new music for the world. We all bore witness to the public meltdown of her relationship with Quavo, and while it’s unknown when they officially called it quits, both rappers have made it clear that they’ve moved on. Some believe that they’ve been taking subliminal jabs at one another in their music, and it may be Saweetie’s turn, judging from the lyrics of this new track.

Saweetie recently appeared in video clips where listeners received a full taste of what’s on the horizon for the rapper. “He treated me wrong now you f*ckin’ me right / He buy me flowers you flood me with ice / Huh, I wanna thug n*gga, yeah / I love a thug n*gga,” she’s heard rapping in one the clip.

He bout that talk but see you bout that life / I wanna thug n*gga.” In a second clip, Saweetie hypes herself up with her own rhymes as she enjoys her tunes. She previously shared that she’s been under artist boot camp as she perfects her skills and her fans are ready for her to release her forthcoming anticipated official debut album, Pretty B*tch Music.

The project is expected to arrive sometime in the summer and we’ll keep you updated on that once more information has been shared. In the meantime, check out Saweetie’s previews as well as a few reactions below.

Coi Leray & Pressa Flirtations Cause Fans To Gossip About Possible Romance

Weeks ago they dropped the visual to their “Attachments” collaboration, but fans believe there is more than just a friendship going on between Coi Leray and Pressa. The Toronto rapper added Leray to the remix of his single and recently dropped off the music video, but the pair reappeared in a few clips that have been circulating on social media and the public has been carefully reading their body language.

Neither Coi nor Pressa has spoken about locking things down, but that hasn’t stopped the pair from being the hot topics of the Hip Hop rumor mill. Leray dropped off videos of herself dancing, which isn’t uncommon, but Pressa looked mighty comfortable by her side and playfully bit her face as they posed for the camera.

The last time there were rumors about who Leray may have been dating was back in December 2020 into January when she was spotted with Blueface. The pair cuddled up in videos shared to her Instagram Story and later they were photographed grabbing a bite to eat in L.A. However, nothing seemed to materialize from the rumored relationship, and Leray was keenly focused on her career.

Check out the clips of Coi Leray and Pressa having fun together and getting close below.

T.I. Announces “Kill The King” Final Album In “What It’s Come To” Visual

Is this end of an era for T.I., or the beginning of another? The Atlanta rapper and activist has been under heavy scrutiny for months following an online spat with former friend Sabrina Peterson. Accusations were tossed by Peterson about T.I. and his wife Tiny, and now, it has developed into full-on sexual assault investigations into the Hip Hop couple.

T.I. and Tiny have repeatedly categorically denied the allegations against them, and the rapper even addressed the controversy in his recently released single, “What It’s Come To.” He made it clear that he will fight this in court, as long as it takes, and his family is determined to have their names cleared. To solidify just how serious he is about this, he even gave a nod to Peterson in the song’s music video.

At the end of March, Peterson appeared in a social media clip that went viral, saying she would drop her lawsuit against her former friends if they issued some sort of public apology within seven days. T.I. later indirectly addressed the request by laughing it off, and now, seven days later, he has shared the video to “What It’s Come To.”

The visual opens with a woman acting out the voiceover of Peterson’s apology demand and the video itself shows a woman known as “the parasite” plotting to recruit others into her plot to take down T.I. At the end of the clip, cover art is shown along with “Kill The King the final album coming soon.” We find it hard to believe that T.I. is bowing out at this stage in the game, but with all that he and his family are facing, especially in the law of public opinion, a break may be needed.

Check out the visual to “What It’s Come To” and let us know if you think it’s time for T.I. to drop a final project.

Nicki Minaj Poses Pretty In Pink While Dropping Bossed Up “Seeing Green” Bars

The Queen Barb is back with another set of photos to give life to her dedicated fanbase. We received several new pictures from Mrs. Petty following a lengthy social media hiatus, and now that her Beam Me Up Scotty rerelease has found new life, especially with its additional tracks making waves, the internet once again can’t get enough of Nicki.

“Seeing Green” remains a fan favorite and saw Minaj reuniting on wax with her longtime YMCMB brothers Drake and Lil Wayne, and she drew inspiration from her own rhymes when she penned the caption to her latest dolled-up post.

Nicki posed pretty in pink and purple while she showed off her matching luxury Louis Vuitton bag. Her caption reads like a random declaration to her haters, and while that may be true, the words were also pulled from her “Seeing Green” bars.

“U btchs think u doin damage u just hypin me up. Face who? I could see a wall of y’all, all of y’all & run straight thru. Trust it’s all FUN & GAMES UNTIL I WANNA PLAY TOO [winking emoji] [make up by ME. styled by ME. hair by TAE TAE. photo by TAE TAE].” The “Tae” she’s referring to is celebrity hairstylist Arrogant Tae, real name Dionte Gray. If he sounds familiar, it’s because Lil Durk gave him a shoutout on “Laugh Now Cry Later” with Drake.

Veteran No Limit Rapper Mia X Advises Female Emcees To Rap About More Than Sex

In the mid-1990s, Mia X inked her deal with Master P’s No Limit Records. The label was enjoying successes from several rappers and was at the top of their game, so it was fitting that they added Mia X, a New Orleans-born and bred emcee, to their roster. She would go onto be named the First Lady of No Limit Soldiers and Mother of Southern Gangsta Rap, and her albums have been certified Gold and 2x Platinum. As a veteran artist, she recently dropped off a tweet that sparked a conversation about women in Rap and their lyrical content as their careers progress.

“I’m not disrespecting no broads who rap about their P*ssy because in 1992 I released a song Da Payback and I talked my sh*t,” tweeted Mia.

“However I do encourage lady EMCEES to be versatile with their subject matter because we not f*cking 24/7 my babies,” she continued. The topic of hypersexualized content in Rap music has existed since the genre’s inception, but in its current culture, many women have received criticism for speaking frankly about their sexual exploits. Some have argued that their male counterparts have been able to get away with the same lyrical content for decades without the same level of vocal backlash.

Many of Mia’s followers co-signed her sentiment and look forward to her next album—a project that is rumored for release this year. Check out Mia X’s tweet as well as a few reactions below and let us know if you agree with her.

Soulja Boy Claims “I Invented Logan Paul,” Posts Throwback Photo

There isn’t a trend in pop culture that he didn’t have his hand in, and Soulja Boy is back with another installment of “I did it first.” In recent weeks, Soulja Boy and Bow Wow have stormed out timelines with their antics as they joke about one another ahead of their appearance on Verzuz. The longtime friends have kept each other on their toes as they post embarrassing photos or share unfavorable stories all for a laugh, but amid the banter, Soulja often returns to remind the public that he was the person who created many of the popular trends that we enjoy today.

He’s shared that he’s the first rapper to own a Lamborghini phone, the first to become a successful rapper from YouTube, and he even took credit for being the first rapper to have Fanta Jello. Following Floyd Mayweather’s bout against Logan Paul, Souja delivered another addition.

It looks as if Soulja Boy dug through the Twitter archives for this one because he retweeted a post from Paul that dates back to 2015. In it, the two stars pose next to one another while Paul displays injuries to his face—makeup from the set of a music video. Soulja used it as the perfect opportunity to troll the vlogger-turned-boxer.

“The day I punched him down [boxing glove emoji][sidewayscrying laughing emoji,” he tweeted. “I invented Logan paul.” The reactions were plentiful and fans are asking for the two to meet in the ring. Check it out below.

Offset Believes He “Helped Biden Win” Election: “I Felt The Power”

It’s Migos season now that they’ve officially shared the cover art to Culture III. Fans have been begging for the trio to drop the project for over a year, and now, we’re just days away from its arrival. The Atlanta hitmakers are in full promotion mode in hopes of Culture III climbing to the top of the charts, and recently, Offset kicked back with Billboard to discuss the new album and how he’s progressed as an individual during this last year of COVID-19, protests, and an election cycle in the U.S.

Offset revealed that during the quarantine, he did his part to help his loved ones as he watched as they lost their jobs. “My mom got sick with COVID and I wasn’t able to leave. I was just able to sit back and see a lot of real s–t going on,” he said. During the 2020 election, Offset made headlines for helping deliver meals to Georgia voters waiting in long lines and he lent his voice to pro-voting initiatives.

“With voting, I just never felt like I was a part of that. I was young, too,” said the rapper. “I’m just a grown man now, and I understand the importance and we can only change things by voting. Me being able to vote, I know a lot of kids that were in my situation that never voted before. When I went to Gwinnett [County], I know I helped Biden win on that. I don’t want to name him in the thing, but it’s the facts.”

In the election, Georgia made an uncharacteristic change from being a red state to a blue state, helping President Biden reign victorious in the close polls. “Gwinnett County was in the red at first, and then when I did that, it went to blue. It’s the first time Georgia did that in like 10 or 20 years. Contributing to that, I felt the power, and it was just the right thing to do.”

We’re not sure if Offset was the deciding factor, but fans think it’s great that he’s more involved in letting his voice be heard at the voting booth. If you haven’t already, check out the cover of Culture III and let us know if you’re looking forward to this one.

Fabolous Catches Heat Over Claudette Ortiz “Appreciation Post”

In the early 2000s, City High was all the buzz in the R&B-Pop scene. The trio was made up of singers Ryan Tobey, Robbie Pardlo, and Claudette Ortiz, and they were known for their hits like “What Would You Do?” and “Caramel,” but their short-lived existence only resulted in one album. However, Ortiz has continued to be involved in the industry, even making appearances on reality television, and it seemed that Fabolous woke up and wanted to give a nod to Claudette’s look.

On his Instagram Story, Fabolous shared a couple of images of Ortiz and wrote, “Claudette Ortiz appreciation post.” Both photos showed the singer dolled up in bikini tops. “It’s vintage but the natural vibe still [fire emoji],” Fab wrote over another.

It took but seconds for the reactions to roll in from the public and they stormed social media earlier today. Because the posts seemed random, it took people by surprise and considering his past, responses were accusatory. Emily B has spoken out openly about Fab’s alleged infidelities while she was on Love & Hip Hop, so many people went after the rapper for posting about another woman.

Years ago, Emily reportedly denied that she’d undergone cosmetic surgery but commentators continue to claim that can’t be true. Although it’s unknown if she has or has not, Fab was also attacked for complimenting a woman’s natural body when his wife has faced accusations of sculpting her shape with the help of a doctor.

After the backlash settled, Fabolous tweeted a follow-up message. “Everybody be talking that ‘ Give people they flowers while they alive’ sh*t.. Then when u do it, they make it a issue,” said the rapper. “A Appreciation Post ain’t meant to be nothing but… FLOWERS.. People try to find the negative in everything. Even in SHOWING LOVE…”

Do you think Fab was just trying to give Claudette Ortiz her flowers? Check out his posts, and a few reactions, below.
