The city was just the epicenter for NBA All-Star Weekend as thousands of people, including several celebrities, descended on Atlanta to party, but now the Peach State is mourning eight losses. According to multiple reports, on Tuesday (March 16), there were three separate shootings in Georgia that all took place at spas or massage parlors. In Atlanta, police responded to an emergency call of a robbery, and when they arrived, they walked into a grisly scene. Three women were found inside, shot to death.

The story takes a turn when, as the officers were at one scene, they were alerted that an altercation was occurring at a spa across the street. Authorities quickly rushed to the location but they were too late; another woman had suffered a fatal gunshot wound. The third incident reportedly took place in Acworth, Georgia at a spa where four people were killed and one person was injured. 

In the Acworth shooting, 21-year-old Robert Aaron Long was identified and arrested. At the time of this publication, authorities haven’t stated whether or not Long is linked to the other shootings. “Many have asked whether these shootings are related to Cherokee County’s shootings. At the moment, it is too early to confirm that, but we have spoken with Cherokee County officials and we are looking into that possibility,” Atlanta Police reportedly shared in a statement.

It’s also being reported that many if not all of the victims were Asian and the public is concerned that these incidents are hate crimes that have increased during the pandemic.

Rihanna is a boss on so many levels, sometimes it’s hard to keep up with all her moves. Although the songstress didn’t grace the Grammys, she was in Beverly Hills putting a lockdown on a new piece of property. 

RiRi struck on a gorgeous mansion for $13.8 million.  According to Dirt.com, the estate is located on a highly desired cul-de-sac in the mountains above Beverly Hills. The property has 5 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. Sir Paul McCartney lives in the same neighborhood. The home was originally built in the 1930s. Used as a farm estate, the property was formerly owned by Mary Sheldon,  who is the daughter of I Dream of Jeanie creator Sidney Sheldon. In 2016, Sheldon sold the property for $4.3 million to investor Daniel Starr who demolished and rebuilt it. 

Rihanna has four other multi-million dollar homes. This new one is a 7,600-square-foot mansion that has a “sophisticated design” which “blends both contemporary and traditional elements,” says the listing. It highlights a fireplace-equipped living room with Fleetwood glass walls, a friendly family room that comes with a lounge or library with built-in bookshelves, a full bar, two islands-equipped kitchen, a luxurious swimming pool and much more. It’s been quiet on the YFN Lucci front ever since the rapper was bonded out of jail last month. The Georgia rapper was arrested and charged in connection with the December murder of a 28-year-old man who died during a shooting. Lucci was initially denied a bond but was able to convince a judge to set him free for the time being with heavy restrictions. Lil Wayne’s daughter Reginae Carter has stood by her man’s side throughout this ordeal, but anytime she pens messages on social media, the public believes she’s trying to shade the rapper with a subliminal jab.

“I swear I went above and beyond for some people & they have the nerve to have amnesia now … k cool,” Reginae wrote over on Twitter. “I sat at tables and had to eat my damn self and still fed a mf before I ate . That same mf bit my hand quick . Never again .” A user replied to her messages and told the reality star to let Lucci go, assuming that Carter was speaking about her relationship. Reginae bit back.

“B*tch ain’t everything about that n*gga imma tell u now,” she said. Unsurprisingly, Lucci is keeping himself out of the spotlight as he manages his personal life and stays out of trouble as his case looms. Check out Reginae’s tweets below.

Celebrities regularly secretly tie the knot to keep their big days private, but when a press release was sent out stating that Pete Davidson had wed, the news was met with confusion. The Saturday Night Live star is no stranger to making headlines over his alleged romances and hook-ups, including his whirlwind relationship-turned-engagement to Ariana Grande. Since their split, Davidson has been tied to a string of women, so the news of his marriage took fans by surprise.

According to TMZ, a company called Bodega Cats Presents made claims that Davidson and his childhood friend “Michelle” not only own the business but they walked down the aisle. “Pete and Michelle were childhood friends prior to starting Bodega Cats Presents and are married,” reads the simple statement. It doesn’t seem like much, but it’s enough for Davidson’s reps to get to work denying the allegations.

Who or what “Bodega Cats Presents” is remains a mystery, but TMZ further stated that the comedian’s attorney is contemplating legal action in the future. “The press release being circulated this morning about Pete Davidson is completely false,” the attorney said. “We are investigating and considering all legal and equitable remedies.” 

Davidson’s lawyer also said that the actor doesn’t know of or own the company.

Clubhouse just keeps giving us new drama. A leaked clip from the popular chatroom hit the web, revealing that Tiffany Haddish thinks that Nicki Minaj is disrespectful. The app is supposed to shield and protect its users from leaked or recorded audio, however, that doesn’t seem to be working very well. The comment came after someone called Haddish the “Nicki Minaj of comedy.” Members in the chat room started to shade Nicki before Haddish chimed in, “And unlike Nicki, I treat everyone with respect and dignity.” 

Now, Haddish is seemingly acting confused about the beef. Or maybe, just confused about how it all started. She took to Twitter with a simple “Huh?” Apparently, the Minaj VS Haddish issue started in 2018, when the latter shaded Fifth Harmony, and the former stood up for them. “Don’t be coming for Fifth Harmony because Normani is that bitch!” Nicki said after a joke Haddish stated got under her skin. Fans are speculating that this was the start of their rift, although that seems like a very petty reason to start a beef. However, we have seen crazier things happen. Despite his infamy, Tekashi 6ix9ine has reportedly been able to rake in millions since his release from prison. The antagonizing artist has capitalized off of creating controversies that are usually launched after he digs underneath someone’s skin with insults and below-the-belt antics. Yet, it’s been profitable as the public chases after every story, but when Benny The Butcher revealed in May 2020 that 6ix9ine reached out for a feature, Rap fans were surprised at the request.

Akademiks would later state that 6ix9ine never contacted Benny for a verse, and in a recent interview with Big Facts Podcast, the Buffalo, New York icon explained what happened. “Aight, boom. What’s this n*gga name, man. I forget this n*gga name. I gave this n*gga my number but it was a joke. It was a prank,” said Benny. “That wasn’t [6ix9ine]. That sh*t all over the f*ckin’ internet. But you know what, before I posted that and said anything about it, I sat on it for like, three days. I’m like, ‘Did this n*gga really hit me?’ I’m like, the audacity of these people. It wasn’t that n*gga. It was this funny Instagram n*gga.”

“But to be clear, I would have never done that sh*t for ten million dollars,” the rapper continued. “Hell nah. I wouldn’t have done it. I wouldn’t have been able to show my face. All I got is who I am. Imagine if I’da did that, took that money, and then came in here. How would you look at me?” The hosts argued that a $10 million feature may be worth thinking about. Still, Benny The Butcher wasn’t moved.

“I can’t be blatantly used,” the rapper added. “I can’t be blatantly used like, ‘We bought this n*gga.’ That what n*ggas would have said. N*ggas would have seen me on the song and said, ‘They bought that n*gga.'” Benny reiterated that he couldn’t show his face around his friends if he would choose the route to collaborate with 6ix9ine.

Cardi B and Meg Thee Stallion’s single “WAP” drives conservatives insane. Fox News did a segment recently following the rappers’ performance of the single at the Grammys. The performance was lude and raunchy, although nowhere near as bad as their music video. In fact, Cardi and Meg’s performance can be placed in the same categories as JLo and Shakira at the Superbowl, or many of Beyonce’s or Madonna’s live performances. However, the intent of the lyrics ruffled many conservative feathers. 

Cardi B chose to use the fellow first lady Trump to highlight her love for getting a little wild. “I don’t know why candy is so bothered by WAP,” tweeted Cardi alongside a picture of a naked Melania. “I was just inspired by our former First Lady 😔. Anyways congrats on your new show I hope you speak more about WAP I need it to reach a new Audience to go 6x platinum.Any exposure will help .Love you candy 😘”

Candace Owens struck back, defending Melania. “What is your obsession with the Trump family? You are digging up modeling shots from our former First Lady from 3 decades ago,” she responded. “She has evolved, you have not. What you did at the Grammy’s was disgusting. Own it.” Owens’ takes are always interesting, to say the least.
