They broke up years ago in a split that had both parties in court, and Karrueche Tran is letting it be known that although she and Chris Brown may show up to the same events, it doesn’t mean that people should read into things. The former couple dated from 2011 to 2014, and following their breakup, Tran filed for a protective order against her ex. She was granted a five-year restraining order against the singer in 2017, and they’ve been happily living their lives independently of one another since that time.

This week, LeBron James and a slew of celebrities stormed Six Flags Magic Mountain where they celebrated Space Jam: A New Legacy, and footage surfaced online showing Brown and Tran exiting the event reportedly “within minutes” of one another.

The Shade Room posted the video clips and after followers began gossiping about what may have happened, Tran quickly shut down any speculation. “… there was an event at Six Flas for Space Jam,” she wrote in the comments. “There were a ton of other people there. Next.”

Since their split, Chris has welcomed his second child a son her shares with Ammika Harris, while Karrueche dated Victor Cruz from 2016 until earlier this year when they announced their relationship had come to an end. Check out Tran’s response and the video clips below.

Kanye West’s Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 “Wave Runner” was heavily scrutinized when it was first unveiled back in 2017. There were many sneakerheads out there who felt like the shoe wasn’t very good and that it was more of Walmart-type offering. In the end, however, fans came around on the shoe and these days, the Yeezy Boost 700 is considered to be one of the greatest shoes to ever be produced by the Yeezy imprint. Over the years, the shoe has continuously gotten new colorways, and fans are always excited to see what comes next.

Now, according to the good folks over at Yeezy Mafia, we now have a unique colorway that has a distinct resemblance to the “Wave Runner” colorway, except with a bit of a twist. As you can see in the image below, this “Wash Orange” model has a grey upper with black overlays and teal hits, just like the “Wave Runner.” The key difference here is that the midsole is orange as opposed to white.

Based on the information provided below, these are going to be dropping in October although that release timeline is subject to change. Things took a drastic turn for Phylicia Rashad recently after she vocalized support for her friend. Bill Cosby was released from prison this week after his conviction was overturned on a technicality, and the decision divided the public. As soon as the news was shared, Rashad took to social media to say, “FINALLY!!!! A terrible wrong is being righted – a miscarriage of justice is corrected!” 

Soon, the beloved actress was met with a fury of backlash as people condemned her for allegedly not supporting survivors of sexual assault. She returned to say that she stands by victims, but the outcry continued and soon, the dean of Howard University’s fine art college was being urged to step down from her position.

Howard University released a statement on the controversy saying Rashad’s “initial tweet locked sensitivity toward survivors of sexual assault.” They added that her personal opinions don’t “reflect Howard University’s policies” and they “stand with survivors and challenge systems that would deny them justice.”

Rashad has since deleted her social media messages supporting Cosby’s release, but still, she remains a target by those who wish to see her removed from her position at the HBCU. Detractors claim that Rashad would not be fit to hold a position where she may have to handle students who have been victims of sexual assault, while others think that the public is making something out of nothing.

In just a couple of weeks from today, LeBron James’ Space Jam: A New Legacy will finally be released to the public. This is a movie that many have been anticipating and while some are skeptical of what LeBron will bring to his role, there are others who remain excited. In true LeBron fashion, sneakers and merch have been key promotional tools for the new film and we are even going to be getting a Nike and Converse collection in the near future.

If there is one thing Boosie Badazz is going to do, it’s give commentary on the culture. The rapper regularly sits down with VladTV where he is asked questions about all things trending on social media, and we recently reported on Boosie sharing his thoughts about Lil Reese’s troubles. In two years, Reese has been attacked in his hometown of Chicago as a victim of gun violence. In 2019, he was struck in the neck, and months ago, he was hospitalized after a bullet grazed his eye.

Boosie suggested that Reese won’t leave Chicago because he may feel “safer at home” or possibly, Reese doesn’t want to look like a “coward” by leaving.

“That was, both of them was for me before I went to prison,” said Boosie. “I felt more safer at home. I always felt like if I left Baton Rouge they would turn on me.” However, when Lil Reese was made aware of Boosie’s comments, he took to Twitter to deny any claims that being viewed as a coward was a factor in his staying in the Windy City.

“[Crying emojis] tell Boosie I said all that ion wanna look like a coward sh*t dead that ain’t the reason I got real life sh*t going on I move when I wanna move,” Reese tweeted. He also sent a tweet about VladTV‘s article title, adding, “Lol just change yo title bro he wasn’t saying it like that you reaching to hard.”

Reese also made it clear that he has no problems with Boosie. Check out his responses below.

Just about an hour ago, we reported that Lil Uzi Vert flashed a gun during an altercation with SAINt JHN at the Dialog Cafe near West Hollywood. According to the report from TMZ, Uzi was in an Escalade and eventually walked inside where he found SAINt JHN sitting with Uzi’s ex-girlfriend Brittany Byrd, who was the subject of numerous songs and even album covers from Uzi. 

Now, TMZ has received an update on the story from Byrd’s team. According to sources, Byrd and SAINt JHN were simply in a business meeting, when all of a sudden, Uzi walked in and allegedly tried to punch SAINt JHN. After missing his punch, Uzi fell to the ground and his gun popped out. Eventually, Byrd went to confront Uzi and that’s when the artist allegedly put the gun to her stomach and hit her. Since the incident, Byrd has gone to the hospital and intends on pressing charges.

It was reported that patrons in the cafe eventually fled the scene as soon as Uzi’s gone was drawn. As for SAINt JHN, it was reported that he left the scene as well, and so far, he has not commented on the matter at hand. Police were quick to arrive at the scene, however, Uzi and SAINt JHN were gone by the time they arrived.

Uzi and SAINt JHN have no prior beef between the two of them, although back in March it was reported that Byrd was seen out and about with SAINt JHN. Just a couple of months ago, Uzi’s current girlfriend JT got into a Twitter spat with Byrd, although that eventually dissipated fairly quickly. Regardless, the allegations leveled against Uzi are very serious, and for now, he has yet to speak on the matter.

Trae Young suffered a bone bruise on his foot in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals, and since that time, he has had to remain out of the Atlanta Hawks lineup. Young is easily their best player and whenever he is on the court, they are an explosive team. Without him, things can get pretty spooky, as we saw on Thursday night when the Bucks defeated the Hawks without Giannis.

Now, the Hawks are one game away from being eliminated and if they want to go to the NBA Finals, they will need to win the next two games. With Game 6 going down on Saturday, no one seems certain of Young’s status, including his head coach Nate McMillan, who recently said that Young’s foot isn’t comfortable enough to play.

“It’s not anything that is long term. He has had pain that is not comfortable enough for him to get out there and feel like he can help the team,” McMillan said.

Today, Brian Windhorst of ESPN made the claim that the Hawks are optimistic about Young returning in time for Game 6, however, there is no guarantee that this is the case. Young would certainly give this Hawks team an edge in Game 6 although you never want to rush back your star player if it could lead to a worsening of his injury.

Josh Gordon has had his issues with substance abuse over the years and as a result, he has been suspended numerous times from the NFL. After a shaky career in Cleveland, Gordon eventually went to the New England Patriots where, once again, he was suspended by the league. Over the last couple of years, Gordon has tried to find some consistency with the Seattle Seahawks, however, back in January of this year, he failed another drug test and was suspended indefinitely by the league.

Now, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Gordon has applied to be reinstated. There is no guarantee the NFL will accept the reinstatement although Gordon seems poised to get his career back on track.

“Josh Gordon officially has submitted his reinstatement letter to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and hopes to be with a team for training camp, per a league source,” Schefter explained. “The NFL has been randomly drug testing Gordon for the past three months and is said to have passed all tests.”

Over the past few months, Gordon has participated in the Fan Controlled Football League and he was one of the best players to participate. He still has a ton of talent, and we’re sure there is a team out there who would take him.
