NorthSideBenji & DJ Charlie B Team Up On “30,000 Ft.”

Toronto’s NorthsideBenji has been among those who’ve led the current wave of rap music out of the Canadian city. He’s cemented himself as a legend in his city, though it’s been a minute since we’ve heard solo music from him. He’s made cameos on projects from Headie One and Nines last year but fans have been eagerly awaiting for some sort of solo release.

This week, DJ Charlie B teamed up with NorthSideBenji for their new collaboration, “30,000 Ft.” The mellow guitar strings and pitched-up vocal samples fill up the production as Benji reflects on his rise from the streets to boarding private jets and living lavishly.

The last project NorthSideBenji released was Caviar Dreams in 2019. Last year, he released the single, “Frienemy.”

Peep NorthsideBenji & DJ Charlie B’s new collab below.

Quotable Lyrics
30,000 feet up & I ain’t goin’ home
We came from testing these pistols out on a open road
And now it’s looking like ice cream that was dipped in gold
Now, I need plenty different phones for all these different hoes

Lana Del Rey Updates Her ‘Blue Banisters’ Album Artwork And Teases A New Single

Less than three months ago, Lana Del Rey shared Chemtrails Over The Country Club, the singer’s seventh album. It’s a project that arrived less than two years after her sixth effort, Norman F*cking Rockwell. The way the singer tells it, however, fans won’t have to wait nearly as long for her upcoming eighth album.

In fact, the full-length effort titled Blue Banisters was supposed to arrive in time for the Fourth Of July holiday, but it’s been pushed back to an unspecified release date. While the delay might be disappointing to fans, Del Rey shared a new cover art and teased an upcoming single to keep the excitement alive for Blue Banisters.

The new cover art for Blue Banisters now features an image of the singer sitting in between two dogs on a wooden deck over a white background with her name and the album’s title in black lettering. This replaces the previous cover that was much simpler compared to the more professional album artworks that could be found within her catalog. She also teased an upcoming song through a video of her singing in a room as the sun shined brightly behind her. “Album out later later… Single out soonish,” she captioned the video. “Have a good fourth x.”

As for when Blue Bannisters will arrive, that remains to be seen but for now, you can check out the new artwork and video of Del Rey singing the unreleased track above.

NBA 2K22 Rumored Release Date & Cover Surfaces Online

Every single year, basketball fans are given yet another NBA 2K game that comes with a few small updates. This past year, the 2K series got some well-deserved criticism as the next-gen version of the game had some real problems that left gamers extremely frustrated. Now, fans are hoping for something better this Fall as NBA 2K22 is supposed to hit stores. Over the last few months, the company behind the game has remained hush-hush about 2K22, although now, some information is starting to get leaked out.

The Twitter account @2KIntel recently came out and showed a graphic that claims the game will be released on September 10th, which makes sense when you consider past release dates. As for the cover, the graphic below showcases a joint effort with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Dirk Nowitzki, and Kevin Durant.

These are three players you wouldn’t expect on one cover together, although you have to applaud 2K for the creativity, if this is, indeed, the real cover. None of this information is confirmed, however, many are excited about the opportunity to play the game, as it promises to fix the errors of the last game.
