Randy Orton & Soulja Boy Are Sparring On Twitter

Soulja Boy hopped up out the bed, turned his swag on, and decided to enter into an all-out war with WWE star Randy Orton. The “Crank Dat” rapper had the nerve to call WWE “fake” in a tweet, which seriously pissed off a number of wrestlers who put their bodies on the line every single night… especially 14-time world champion Randy Orton.

“Rap game faker than WWE,” wrote Soulja Boy on Twitter, angering Retribution wrestler T-Bar and Randy Orton, who snapped at him in his replies. “Fake? Dare this prick to step up,” replied the Viper. “He dont like movies? Consider us actors that do stunts, without pads 200 days a year and don’t b*tch when we get surgically repaired and come right back. Consider us 100 times tougher then anyone you’ve come across. Aint nuthin but a b*tch ass…”

Of course, this kicked off a war between Big Draco and the first-ballot WWE Hall of Famer, which very well may conclude in a handicap match between Bow Wow, Soulja Boy, and Randy Orton. “Do u know who the f*ck I am I’ll bring the REAL to wrestling don’t play with me,” said Soulja. “Randy Ortonnnnnnnn??????????”

Randy went on to take aim at his rival’s music career, calling him a one-hit-wonder and claiming that Bad Bunny, who has been making regular appearances on Monday Night RAW, would destroy him in the ring.

“Ps @sanbenito would beat the f*ck outta you. Why? How? Because he’s seen our world. Respects it and knows what it takes and finds himself lucky to be a part of it,” said Orton. “You wanna talk fake? Pawn that cheap ass chain and come work for it you one hit wonder ass mutha f*cka. ‘Crank that’ came out in ‘07 you had a hell of a year. Serious $. Hats off to ya my dude. Here’s the thing tho… I like rap. I bump that sh*t all day whether it’s tunechi, meek, JZ…but you call what I do to survive, fake? F*ck that. Come to my world and say that. Dare ya.”

Soulja Boy held his ground, maintaining that wrestling isn’t a real sport and saying, “If you mad because I spit facts just say that. What you do is FAKE and I stand on that. What I do is REAL. Come to your world? Lol welcome to Soulja World.”

The beef was enough to get both parties trending on Twitter, and for Bow Wow to step in. The rapper has been training for a career in the WWE, and he couldn’t pass up this golden opportunity to let Randy know who he is. “Yo @souljaboy these wrestlers are terrified,” chimed in Shad Moss, who previously also had beef with a few superstars. “I been giving them the business since i announced i was training. They so scared we gone take all they shine. The thing is we call our own shots and work for ourselves. They gotta check in with they boss in order to make things happen! @TripleH WE READY TO FIGHT!”

Who do you think would win in a fight? Soulja Boy or Randy Orton?

J.I.D. & Metro Boomin Are Cooking Up

Yesterday, J.I.D. sparked hype by tweeting out his appreciation for Metro Boomin, a post that immediately had fans clamoring for a collaboration. In a stroke of brilliant fortune, it would appear that is exactly what’s in the midst of transpiring, as evidenced by a few follow-up tweets from Metro and Spillage Village affiliate Lou Spill. Though the intended destination is unclear, it seems likely that the duo are cooking up for J.I.D’s upcoming follow-up to 2018’s DiCaprio 2, tentatively titled The Forever Story.

“Dis man @MetroBoomin one da most talented and realest innnit,” wrote J.I.D, a message that went on to spark a promising response from Metro. “Likewise my boy it takes 1 to know 1 4sho we applying PRESSURE,” he answers, his wording all but solidifying that a studio session is underway. And while it’s certainly speculative as to what’s being concocted, Spillage Village affiliate Lou Spill shed some light on what might be expected.

“@JIDsv & @MetroBoomin makin some of the craziest shit I’ve heard in a minute,” writes Spill, clearly having spent time observing the session in action. “Watchin em work it’s like they both respect each other’s craft so much they both goin crazy to make sure they do each other justice.” A promising assessment indeed, and we can only hope to hear one of Metro’s iconic tags — or if we’re really lucky, more than one — on J.I.D’s upcoming Forever Story album. After all, these are two of Atlanta’s most talented artists right now, and hearing them collaborate for the first time should make for an exciting hip-hop moment.

Are you excited to hear whatever they have cooking up?

ESPN Mistakes 2 Chainz As Future, Fans Go In

Aside from both hailing from Georgia and being OGs of the hip hop scene there, there’s not much in common between 2 Chainz and Future. Not their public personas, not their music, and not even their physique. As spring rolls in, the annual college basketball March Madness tournament is just a few weeks away. Perhaps a little too excited about the forthcoming event, ESPN made the mistake of using a photo of 2 Chainz rather than Future in a now-deleted Instagram post on Monday (March 1).

The network’s media team had a case of mistaken identity in the Instagram post as they attempted to pay ode to Future’s memorable 2015 track “March Madness” from his fan-favorite 56 Nights mixtape, while also announcing that the namesake sporting event was approaching. ESPN posted a since-deleted photo on Instagram where they tried to compare Wilt Chamberlain’s 1960s stats to Future’s stellar performance on the track. Rather than attaching a photo of the “March Madness” rapper, however, they instead shared a photo of the self-proclaimed ‘Tity Boi.’

The post stayed up for a couple of hours before fans quickly pointed out under the comments that there seemed to be a mixup. By then, however, it was too late, and screenshots of the post began swirling all around social media. Many dragged the network for the mistake, particularly because they went as far as to even tag Future in the post

Others pointed out that this mistake would have not happened if the network had a more diversified media team. “Like…. I bet their social media manager is 33 year old white woman named Sarah who’s never heard a future or 2 chainz song,” said one person.

Check out some other reactions to the alarming mix-up.

Jay-Z’s Ace Of Spades Earnings Speculated By Forbes

Jay-Z’s recent deal with the LVMH’s Moët Hennessy, which found him selling fifty percent of his Armand de Brignac (also known as Ace of Spades) champagne brand, appears to be an extremely lucrative one for the legendary rapper. Based on a report from Forbes, the deal was estimated at a value of over $600 million, which would then net Jay a minimum of $300 million.

Upon inking the deal, Jay-Z explained his motivation for partnering with Moët Hennessy in a press release. “We are confident that the sheer power of the Moët Hennessy global distribution framework, its unparalleled portfolio strength, and its long-established track record of excellence in developing luxury brands will give Armand de Brignac the commercial power it needs to grow and flourish even further,” he stated.

Forbes notes that their own valuation of Ace Of Spades placed the luxury spirit at an approximated $630 million, with analysts speculating that Hova was set to pocket an estimated $315 million. Already boasting a net worth of over one billion dollars, making him the first rapper to hit the financial milestone, this latest money move is but one of many lucrative developments for the entrepreneur. It’s no wonder that the move was celebrated by so many of his peers, including near-billionaire Dr. Dre.

While it’s certainly impressive to witness watch Jay-Z continue to make waves beyond music, many fans have been pining to see the Jigga Man come through with a proper follow-up to 4:44. His slew of recent features, ranging from a standout verse on Meek Mill’s “What’s Free” (where he undervalued Ace Of Spades to be worth half a billion) to the recent “What It Feels Like” collaboration with the late Nipsey Hussle. One can only imagine the energy he’d bring to his fourteenth studio album, if and when it drops — how does a verse recorded directly after a $315 million dollar payout actually sound?

Azealia Banks Shares List Of People She Loves: Trump, Candace Owens, Putin, & More

Azealia Banks might have been canceled a million times, but she’s still kicking, promising to remain relevant until she chooses to quiet down. The “212” rapper may not be trending for her music anymore, but she manages to always stir up some drama with her loud mouth, sharing her controversial musings on social media all day long. Most recently, the rapper got engaged to artist Ryder Ripps, and her fiancé is seemingly teaching her to hold less hatred in her heart. In doing so, she shared a list of people she claims to love, which is pretty eye-opening.

While Azealia’s list of people she loves isn’t too surprising to those that have kept up with her shenanigans for the last few years, it still comes as a shock to see some of the names she added to her list. Lil’ Kim is listed in the middle, highlighted with a heart around her and so are a few other artists, including Mario Judah, Donald Glover, Juelz Santana, Shakira, T-Pain, and more. However, people are more concerned with the names near the top of her list, mainly Donald Trump, Candace Owens, Vladimir Putin, and more. She also lists Ariel Pink, who was recently accused of abuse after being spotted at the Capitol raid in support of Trump. He’s also been accused of being anti-semitic, which contradicts Azealia’s recent admission that she’s converting to Judaism.

“@ryder_ripps says I need to practice not being such a hater so I made a list of people I love,” wrote Azealia on Instagram.

The post is slightly confusing, only because a few hours prior, Azealia claimed that she broke up with her fiancé. “Lol, I just dumped @ryder_ripps,” she wrote on Stories. “He’s too insecure for the wildly creative she-wolf in me. I’m keeping the menorah ring too.”

DaniLeigh Addresses “Yellow Bone” Controversy Again In Twitter Beef With Akbar V

DaniLeigh continues to be the aim of the wrath of countless social media users long after previewing her controversial unreleased “Yellow Bone” song, which many accused of being a “colorist anthem.” She’s since apologized numerous times for the song, but that hasn’t stopped the internet from continuing to troll the “Easy” singer. DaniLeigh once again responded to a few critics on her Twitter account Sunday (February 28), eventually getting into a heated exchange with Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star Akbar V.

“I want to tell you baby you are no Black no matter how many black wigs u let them put on you baby,” tweeted the outspoken Atlanta rapper to DaniLeigh. She clapped back with, “Keep making music I’ll never hear,” and from there the two continued to bicker. DaniLeigh held that she wasn’t trying to “be anyone but myself,” while once again saying she didn’t even know who Akbar was

“U still not Black,” continued Akbar V, which launched DaBaby’s ex into a discussion about her recent album Movie, adding she had features from PartyNextDoor, Lil Baby, Gunna, and more. Akbar then shifted the conversation to address the “Yellow Bone” controversy

“I want u to stop color shaming cause I really wasn’t being funny u started the sing then started with I don’t give a f*ck altitude we are really Black my Black women go threw enough for u to make fun of it,” Akbar said in a tweet.

DaniLeigh reiterated she “wasn’t saying it to shame someone…especially they color.” When asked by another user if she’d be willing to apologize, she revealed she felt she had already “took accountability” for her actions. She went on to add her problem with people referring to her as “a white girl” and said she was Dominican “with a whole bunch of sh*t in me.”

JT Makes It Clap For Lil Uzi Vert

There’s no more hiding for Lil Uzi Vert and JT. The two are happily couple’d up, showing off their love following a confusing start to their relationship. After being mentioned in song lyrics for the last year, Uzi and JT have finally gone public with their relationship, sharing boo’d up pictures following Brittany Byrd’s claims that Uzi was still texting her on the regular. Now, they just can’t hide their affection as Uzi seemingly has JT wrapped around his little finger.

During a recent shopping trip, the two rappers posted a bunch of pictures and videos from their outing, including one where Uzi requests a quick little twerk from his girlfriend. “Make it clap for me,” asked Uzi on his Instagram Stories, to which JT obliged.  She was wearing oversized sunglasses, pink biking shorts, matching shoes, and a casual Helmut Lang sweater.

On her own page, JT didn’t share the twerking video, but she did post pics with her man, declaring herself “the chosen one” in her caption after the brief love triangle formed on Sunday.

After the media circus that has surrounded JT and Lil Uzi Vert at the beginning of their relationship, fans are finally opening up to the idea of them being the next rap power couple, sharing their opinions on the new couple. The majority of people seemingly think they’re cute together, but they can’t escape the idea of seeing them out in public together, pointing out how short they are.

Do you think they’ll last?
