Twitter Reacts To OnlyFans’ Shocking Porn Ban

In a complete 180 from reports earlier this week that OnlyFans would be launching a standalone, safe for work app in addition to its main pornography-riddled platform, the popular company that has directly connected thousands of creators and consumers has announced the controversial decision to ban pornographic content.

The platform, which has even received a shout out from Beyoncé in the remix for Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage” due to its explicit nature, has completely backtracked from claims that it didn’t want to alienate the sex workers who made it popular in the first place, and now, OnlyFans has declared that sexually explicit will officially be prohibited on the platform starting on October 1st.

There is one important caveat, however. OnlyFans has content creators will reportedly still be allowed to post nude photos and videos, provided they are not pornographic and consistent with OnlyFans’ policy.

According to Bloomberg, this major content overhaul was allegedly the result of mounting pressure from banking partners and payment providers as OnlyFans works to raise money from outside investors at a valuation of more than $1 billion

So in perhaps the most shocking turn of events so far this year, it appears that only people like Rachel Dolezal, who recently joined to sell feet pics, will be able to continue using OnlyFans without any problems. Scroll down below to see what everyone — from sex workers to competitors to plain old Twitter users — has to say about OnlyFans’ move to cleanse the platform of pornography by October 1st.

Antonio Brown Kicked Out Of Practice After Punching Titans Player

Antonio Brown’s stint with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has proven to be huge in the resurrection of his career. After appearing down and out just a year ago, Brown was able to return to the NFL and win himself a Super Bowl title. While his presence in the league might be deemed controversial, there is no doubt that Tom Brady is happy with him, which is all that matters in the eyes of the Buccaneers.

Now, Brown is ready to run it back with the team as they are looking to win back-to-back Super Bowls. Buccaneers training camp has been going well, for the most part, and today, they got to participate in a joint practice with the Tennessee Titans. Unfortunately, things got a bit crazy as Brown was eventually thrown out of the session.

According to reports, Brown, and cornerback Chris Jackson got into it during the scrimmage and it led to a bit of a fight. Brown ended up yanking the helmet off of Jackson’s head before landing a punch right to his face. All of this was captured by nearby cameras, and it made for quite the scene.

Afterward, Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians spoke out about the incident, as you can see down below, he wasn’t too concerned about it all. “I didn’t see any fighting… just a lot of pushing and shoving around,” Arians explained.

Needless to say, this incident won’t affect Brown’s standing with the Buccaneers. Brown is a guy who brings energy to the roster, and these one-off incidents in practice are just a manifestation of his passion.

Colin Kaepernick Gets Better Madden Rating Than Kirk Cousins

Colin Kaepernick is one of the most polarizing athletes of all time thanks to his political statements and protests. After kneeling for the anthem five years ago, Kap became public enemy number one amongst conservative football fans, and since that time, he has yet to find a new job in the NFL. Some believe he should still be in the league, while others claim he isn’t deserving of such an opportunity.

Having said that, it should come as no surprise that Kaepernick’s inclusion in the “Madden” games is also quite polarizing. Kap was in “Madden 21” and he is also in “Madden 22.” In fact, his new character has a rating of 81, which is rubbing people the wrong way.

In the screengrab down below, you can see that Kaepernick’s rating is a point above Justin Herbert, and it is also two points above Kirk Cousins. Both of these players are starting quarterbacks, however, EA Sports still gave Kap the higher rating. This has elicited a bit of controversy on social media as many feel like the game is doing too much by ranking the former QB so high.

Having Kaepernick in the game is one of those things that is easy to ignore, however, gamers on Twitter will always make a big deal out of seemingly nothing. No one is being forced to play with Kap, and we doubt that will change, anytime soon.

Give us your thoughts on this move by EA Sports, in the comments below.

XXXTentacion’s “SAD!” Goes Diamond

Three years after its initial release, XXXTentacion’s “Sad!” track has gone Diamond after achieving platinum status 10 times as of August 13, 2021, representing the equivalent of 10,000,000 units sold for the track.

The track, which first arrived in March 2018, marked a major breakout moment for the star as he had earned a 2x platinum certification for the track just four days before his death in June.

Similar success was attached to his ? album which also pre-dated his death that year. The project earned a 3x platinum certification on its own as well. Since X’s death, the public has been treated to two full-length projects, including Skins and Bad Vibes Forever. Despite the typical uptick that posthumous projects tend to generate, the two efforts have not eclipsed the Florida artist’s final opus.

On the three-year anniversary of X’s death in June, several rappers shared their last conversations with the rapper in his honor. Notably, Kodak’s final conversation with X was chilling in hindsight as X expressed caution, asking that Kodak pay attention to be mindful of his actions and to mind the company he keeps.

“Just please, please be cautious. It be the animal in us that drives us to do the things that bear us consequences,” X could be heard aying in a phone call. “…Cus we the ones with all the love. We are the ones with the love fam. You know when you f-*cked up really, the love is when you stared giving n*ggas money. When you start giving n*ggas money that’s when they f*ck up the relationship and I noticed that. It could be small shit, like a n*gga hungry, pull up to my crib and come eat.”

Saweetie And Kendra Jae Ride A Mechanical Bull In Their Fiery ‘Seesaw’ Video

As the world waits for Saweetie’s debut album Pretty B*tch Music to finally be ready for release, the Bay Area raprentreneur is making the most of her existing projects to hold fans over, dropping a sultry video for her and Kendra Jae’s April collaboration “Seesaw.” Although it’s Kendra’s song, it first appeared on Saweetie’s Pretty Summer Playlist Vol. 1 mixtape, which Saweetie released this spring as a placeholder for her album.

The video, which features a cameo appearance from Inglewood-native Dreamville rapper Cozz, sees Kendra lighting furniture on fire as she sits with him on a sofa in a bedazzled bodysuit. Elsewhere in the video, Kendra and Saweetie pose and mug the camera in a plush purple convertible and share a ride on a mechanical bull. There’s also some nifty choreography with Kendra and her dance team on various colored sets.

Although Pretty Summer came out months ago, it’s proven to have some long legs after she released videos for “Baby Mama Coochie” by BbyAfricka and “Risky” featuring Drakeo The Ruler. The unplanned compilation EP has given Saweetie fans plenty to listen to as she prepares to release PBM, which she says is finally ready and deserves to be taken seriously. Hopefully, it’ll be out while her McDonald’s meal is still on the market, proving that the Icy Queen can take advantage of all the synergy she’s been building lately.

Watch the “Seesaw” video above.

Saweetie is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.
