Durk Derrick Banks, better known as Lil Durk, and India Royale’s story might as well be a rap fairytale. The Instagram model and hair business owner met the then-rising rapper in 2017, and the two were swiftly engaged just a year later.

Lil Durk has remained vocally in love with India throughout his rise in the rap game, from “India” on his 2017 project Signed To The Streets 2.5 to “India Pt. II” on Signed To The Streets 3 in 2018. He put the most recent tribute, “India Pt. III” on his highly anticipated 2020 album, The Voice. 

In 2018, the couple welcomed their daughter Willow. Willow is Durk’s sixth child and India’s second. 

There were some rumors that the two had split up in May 2018 after the couple unfollowed each other on Instagram. India faced her own heat from women who were calling out her “baby mama” status. Durk and India both shut it all down and made it clear they were good as ever.

In case we needed any more evidence that India will ride-or-die for her man, just last week the IG model stood beside her man and fired off rounds with him during a home invasion. After word of the shootout hit social media, fans were quick to call Durk and India new relationship goals.

Even though Nicki Minaj isn’t slated to perform at Rolling Loud this year, plenty of artists appear to be channeling the Beam Me Up Scotty artist’s energy in Miami over the past couple of days. Flo Milli’s on-stage and off-stage looks throughout this weekend have been giving “Black Barbie” vibes, and Young Thug seems to have followed Nicki’s Pinkprint by hitting Rolling Loud in a vibrant all-pink ensemble that literally stretches from his head to his toes.

In addition to sporting a pair of sparkling hot pink pants and a giant pink puffer jacket, Thug also notably dyed his hair pink for the occasion as well, and upon seeing Thug’s new look, Nicki Minaj hit the ‘Gram to give her frequent collaborator some props.

The “Whole Lotta Money” rapper shared a photo of Thug sitting in a car while still donning his Rolling Loud performance outfit, and she commended his dedication to his all-pink outfit by writing, “Listennnnn. this. is. dat. mtfhfkn. gas. right. TF. here. chile. wtf. [pink ribbon emoji] [pink hearts emoji] [fire emoji].” 

While the pink aesthetic was definitely a sight to see, Young Thug also announced his upcoming album Punk and played an early preview of one of its songs, titled “TikTok.” With her interest in Thug’s new pink aesthetic, perhaps fans will get the opportunity to hear Nicki Minaj and Young Thug reunite on wax on Young Thug’s sophomore album Punk.

Heading into the Olympics, there were various questions surrounding Team USA and whether or not the squad was good enough to go out and win the gold medal. After losing to Nigeria and Australia in the pre-tournament games, there was some chatter that the roster simply wasn’t up to standard. Of course, this is the only team in the Olympics where every single player is in the NBA, which means this squad should have a massive advantage over all of the other countries.

Today, Team USA faced off against France in the team’s first official game of the Olympics. There were a ton of expectations coming into the match and when it came to the oddsmakers, Team USA was -600 favorites. Needless to say, everyone expected them to win.

While the match started out well for the team, Kevin Durant ran into foul trouble and was even fouled out in the fourth quarter. Meanwhile, France pounced on their opportunities and went on a 16-2 run to finish off the game. This allowed France to steal the victory and give Team USA its first Olympics loss since 2004.

As you can see in the clip below, Team USA’s shooters went missing all throughout the fourth quarter, and it led to some embarrassing basketball.

Following Team USA’s loss, the reactions on social media were quite strong as fans were disappointed by the squad’s showing. It has become painfully obvious that this team lacks chemistry and basketball IQ. If they can’t get it together soon, this team could very well find itself without a medal on the plane home from the games.

Friday came and went without the release of DONDA, Kanye West’s 10th studio album. The rapper held a listening party unlike any other on Thursday night at Atlanta’s Mercedez Benz Stadium. Draped in the upcoming YZY x GAP threads, ‘Ye stood at the center of the stadium with a stocking over his face walking back-and-forth as the rest of the world tuned in from home. By the time Friday came around, the album was nowhere to be seen on streaming services, and ‘Ye had Justin LaBoy announce a new release date — Aug. 6th.

Kanye West was scheduled to deliver his first actual performance of the album at Rolling Loud today (July 25th) but the impromptu set doesn’t look like it’ll be happening. Over the past few days, there have been hints at ‘Ye making a surprise appearance to follow the release of DONDA before official reports came out confirming the rumors. Billboard now reports that Kanye has decided that he won’t perform this evening at the Miami festival.

Last night, Kanye West was randomly spotted at the Atlanta United soccer game last night wearing the exact same ‘fit from his listening party. Apparently, he hasn’t left the stadium since Thursday and has temporarily moved inside of the Mercedes-Benz Stadium where he’s set up shop. TMZ reported that Kanye West was left “inspired” by the crowd at Thursday’s listening party that he decided to remain in Atlanta to wrap up the project.

Kanye and company have reportedly set up a studio space, living area, and have a personal chef cook-up for them.

This weekend, rising Alabama rapper and newly crowned XXL Freshman Flo Milli celebrated the one-year anniversary of her debut mixtape Ho, why is you here ? by hitting Rolling Loud for an electrifying performance. While in Miami, she also happened to run into one of the most beloved Hip-Hop acts of today: Travis Scott. 

Like any fan or fellow ar7 tist would do given the opportunity, Flo Milli took a picture with Cactus Jack, but after posting the photo alongside the caption “Real life Barbie & Ken vibeeesss [pink heart emoji],” upset Kylie Jenner fans started to flood her DMs with hateful, mean, and negative comments.

One fan responded to the Ho, why is you here ? rapper’s story post by immediately calling Flo Milli out of her name, saying, “Are you stupid b*tch ? You dumb.” Another Kylie Jenner fan went into detail and said, “Kylie way better than your lil no built a** fake hair head a** [crying laughing emoji] you know exactly wtf your doing with that caption.. just wait until it’s your bd haha karma is real [kissing emoji].” And if that wasn’t toxic enough, a third fan ripped Flo Milli to shreds as well. “He don’t want yo stank a**,” the unidentified fan said. “You a f*ckin thot man you for everybody he know better. Tryna be the next Kylie gtfo.”

While she only opted to share three of the hateful story replies, there’s no telling how many more messages like this she received. Regardless, Flo Milli has responded to the situation by keeping it lighthearted, saying, “all I said was I look like barbie and he looks like ken [female shrug emoji].”

On a more positive note, it appears that Flo Milli’s Rolling Loud weekend in Miami has been going really well, as she has been able to link up with some of Hip-Hop’s other bright stars as well. Gervonta Davis is one of the best boxers in the entire world right now and at the age of 26, he is already a champion who could one day become one of the best to ever step into the ring. He is backed by the likes of Floyd Mayweather and there is no doubt that if he keeps winning, he will be mentioned in the same breath as Mayweather in a few decades from now.

When it comes to his body, Davis hasn’t been shy to cover himself in tattoos. Over the last few decades, tattoos have become widely accepted and numerous athletes have covered themselves as a result. Up until a couple of days ago, Davis had yet to get his back tattooed, although that all changed thanks to celebrity tattoo artist Josh Levario who has worked on Davis before.

Davis is from Baltimore and to pay homage to his city, he got a massive tattoo on his upper back that spells out the name of the city. It is an incredibly bold statement although Levario does a great job with the lettering and the shading. In a report from TMZ, it was revealed that the tattoo took three hours from start to finish.

In life, they say there are only two things that are guaranteed: death and taxes. However, philosophers failed to consider a third certainty. Of course, that certainty is Skip Bayless hating on LeBron James no matter what the occasion is. Whether he is appearing in Space Jam: A New Legacy, getting injured, or winning championships, you can be sure that Bayless is going to say something out of pocket about one of basketball’s greatest superstars.

With Team USA’s men’s Olympic basketball team beginning their Tokyo journey today, Bayless has been on high alert as he looks to slander LeBron in any way possible. One of LeBron’s biggest rivals is Kevin Durant, and with KD ready to lead this American team to another gold, Bayless saw the perfect opportunity to make a comment.

As Bayless explains, KD’s fake Twitter drama with Bam Adebayo was a sign that he is ready to have an incredible Olympic tournament and that he is akin to Michael Jordan. From there, Bayless took his swipe as he said this is something LeBron would never do.

“Sounds to me like KD is ready to show (again) he’s the best player in the world and lead Team USA to gold. Once again he has created some weird petty beef (with Bam) to motivate himself. This is Jordanesque. Who needs LeBron when we have KD?” Bayless wrote.

Overall, this whole thing is pretty silly and it speaks to what Bayless’ persona has become. At the end of the day, he plays the heel role well and his LeBron slander is something that will serve him well all the way to retirement.
