Alfonso Ribeiro Says Black Community Won’t Accept Him For Marrying White Woman

Alfonso Ribeiro, best known for his role as Carlton on Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air, is under fire for complaining that he isn’t accepted by the Black community because he’s married to a white woman, in a recent interview.

Speaking with Atlanta Black Star, Ribeiro was asked about a scene from the classic sitcom where his character attempts to pledge to a Black fraternity and whether he’s personally experienced anything similar.

“It still happens almost every day, unfortunately. I am in a mixed relationship,” Ribeiro replied. “And I get things and looks and comments constantly.”

He continued: “I’m never going to be white and I’m never going to be fully supported in the Black house. So I’m in my own little world with support from almost no one to be in love with someone I’ve fallen in love with. How does that make sense? It doesn’t.”

In response to his comments, fans online railed against the current America’s Funniest Home Videos host.

“Two things I never heard in my life, one, a black person ever mention Alfonso Ribeiro wife, two, Alfonso Ribeiro ever mention anything pertaining to black America,” one user tweeted. “Black people are the welcoming people in this country, he has a guilty conscious or just paranoid about nothing.”

Kid Cudi Didn’t Hear Final Mix Of His Kanye West Collab Until The “DONDA” Listening Party

Kid Cudi may have previously denied his involvement in Kanye West’s long-awaited (and three-times delayed) tenth studio album DONDA, but fans who tuned into Yeezy’s second live-streamed DONDA listening event last night noticed rather quickly that the Man On The Moon made the cut after all. Surprisingly, DONDA has been significantly extended from the rough draft that Ye presented to fans in Atlanta on July 22, and one of the new tracks features Kid Cudi.

According to Uproxx, the last-minute preparations for DONDA were so down to the wire that Ye’s Kids See Ghosts collaborator had yet to even hear the final version of their latest collaboration until it played during the live stream on Thursday night.

Surprisingly, Kid Cudi is more “a man of the people” than fans originally thought, as he hit Twitter to reveal that he too felt the excitement that many of his fans were feeling during the DONDA listening party. “Havent heard the final this is new to me too!!” Kid Cudi exclaimed in one tweet.

Unlike his infamous “Guilt Trip” feature on Yeezus, however, Cudi reveals that he was more than aware that he would be on Kanye’s latest album. Clarifying that he did in fact know of his involvement on DONDA, Cudi explained the situation to a fan by saying, “I knew! Just didnt hear final mixes.”

According to Uproxx, the song is reportedly called “Moon” and also includes vocals from Don Tolliver, although it seems like even those details might be subject to change before the album is actually finally released. As of now, fans are still patiently awaiting the release of DONDA, and although no one can be certain when it will arrive, at least fans can look forward to a new Kanye West and Kid Cudi collab.

Kodak Black Shares New Song “Before I Go” Featuring Rod Wave

Kodak Black has been feeding the streets with a lot of new music this Summer and thankfully he doesn’t look to be slowing down. After hitting us with songs like “Senseless” and “Grah Tah Tah” with Tory Lanez recently, The Florida rapper decides to return to the scene today and share another new record with Rod Wave called “Before I Go,” which is rumored to be off his upcoming Halloween Bill Kill project, the follow up to his Happy Birthday Kodak EP from June.

Accompanied along with a new video, Kodak slows it down and delivers a melodic, emo-song that finds him rapping about the repercussions of street life and the eventual outcome. Riding the pocket of the beat perfectly, both crooners effortlessly rap sing about not being taking away from their children and money “before they go” in what will probably be a massive hit.

The song was first teased a couple months ago when Kodak and Rod Wave were seen in the studio, leaving fans eagerly awaiting to hear the final outcome, and alas its here. Take a listen and let us know what you think.

Quotable Lyrics:

Everything my momma say I try to remember

I dont know why but they be plotting to kill me
Cant let nobody take me away from my children
Can’t let nobody take my away from these millions
Everybody gon’ die before I go

Lil Tecca And Gunna Promise To Flex On Multiple Occasions On ‘Repeat It’

It was just a few years ago that New York native Lil Tecca saw his rise to fame seemingly happen overnight. The rapper’s breakout single “Ransom” arrived in 2019 and it immediately boosted the rapper to fame as the track peaked at No. 4 on the singles chart. He then released his debut project, We Love You Tecca that same year, a project that also peaked at No. 4 on the albums chart. Now, after dropping his official debut album, Virgo World last fall, Tecca is back in action with Gunna for their new track, “Repeat It.”

The collaboration is a boastful effort that sees both rappers promising to keep up a consistent flex as their successful lifestyles have allowed them to do just that. Led by a pair of verses from Tecca over the song’s giddy production, Gunna arrives as an anchor for the final verse that brings the track to a close.

In addition to the new songs, Lil Tecca revealed his next project, We Love You Tecca 2 would arrive at some point in the near future. The track also arrives after Gunna connected with Polo G for their recent collaboration, “Waves.”

You can listen to Lil Tecca and Gunna’s “Repeat It” in the video above.

We Love You Tecca 2 is out soon via Galatic/Republic. Pre-order it here.

Gunna is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Kim Kardashian Attends “Donda” Event & Kanye Claims She Is “Still In Love” With Him

Kim Kardashian was in attendance at Kanye West’s Donda listening party, which was streamed live on Apple Music, Thursday night. Kardashian and West divorced, earlier this year, after seven years of marriage.

The couple’s kids, North, 8, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2, were all also at the event at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

While performing his unreleased song, “Love Unconditionally,” which many fans perceive to be about Kardashian, West pleaded for the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star to “come back” to him. He also rapped about “losing all my family.”

In another song, he claimed that Kardashian is “still in love” with him.

West and Kardashian divorced on February 19, 2021, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

Kardashian spoke about her reasoning in an episode of KUWTK shortly afterward: “I honestly don’t think I would even say it here on TV, but it was not like, one specific thing that happened on either part. I think it was just a general difference of opinions on a few things that led to this decision and in no way would I want someone to think I didn’t give it my all or I didn’t try.”

West and Kardashian were first seen in public together, since their divorce, in San Francisco, last month. A source told Page Six that they are still close friends despite the breakup: “They are getting along great, and it was their first public outing together as a family, reconfirming that they are in lockstep when it comes to co-parenting and putting their kids first.”

KSI Taps Lil Wayne For The Rap-Rock Single “Lose”

After releasing a couple of hard-hitting singles throughout the spring and summer, KSI finally released his highly anticipated second studio album, All Over The Place, last month. Now, a few weeks after his second studio album debuted at the top spot on the UK Albums Chart, KSI is keeping the hits coming with a new rap-rock collaboration with Lil Wayne. Fans of Weezy’s Rebirth era will be delighted to hear the legendary rapper return to his pop-runk aesthetic, and all-in-all, his chemistry with KSI makes for a solid record.
