A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie Accidentally “Threw A Brick Of 5 Grand” At A Stripper’s Head: Report

An Upper East Side strip club was swimming in cash after A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie performed there this week. Rappers love to show off their bank accounts when visiting strip and gentlemen’s clubs across the globe, and Sapphire was raining dollar bills after A Boogie took to the stage. Sapphire has recently boasted performances from Treach and Ice-T, but a story of A Boogie’s cash-throwing display made its way to Page Six.

People who reportedly attended the event were quick to give details about what they witnessed, and while everyone resolved that they had a great time, they couldn’t help mentioning that a stripper got her dome rocked by a stack of singles.

“He bought 20 grand in singles and was throwing it to dancers in the crowd. It’s like everything he made on performing, he pretty much spent on dancers,” someone told Page Six. Another person added, that Boogie “threw a brick of five grand and it landed on a girl’s head! It was quite funny… the crowd went crazy with all the money flying in the air.”

It’s reported that Nas was supposed to perform but canceled at the last minute. Other attendees reportedly included Trey Songz, Busta Rhymes, and Nelly. Busta is said to be a regular and was seen double-fisting two bottles of champagne. Travis Scott was also reportedly there, but he was “shooing a lot of girls away.”

“He kind of didn’t want to be bothered. He was in the corner,” a partygoer said. “They sneaked him in through a backdoor, and his security went in first to pick out an area.”

Terrell Owens Firmly Believes He Can Still Play In The NFL

Terrell Owens retired from the NFL quite a few years ago, and now, he is in the Hall of Fame. Despite all of this, Owens still has aspirations to return to the NFL at the age of 47. Owens has always been obsessed with his physical shape, and in retirement, T.O. has been taking very good care of himself. With this in mind, it should almost come as no surprise that T.O. would express interest in returning to the highest level of football out there.

In fact, during a recent interview with TMZ, Owens claimed that he is ready to get back into the league and that some execs have told him that there is potential for a signing if he can show some speed.

“There’s no doubt, 100 percent, that I can play in the National Football League today,” Owens said. “I’m not washed up. Once you know how to ride a bike, you know, you don’t forget how to ride that bike.”

Owens went on to explain that his running speed is still incredibly fast and that when it comes to the 40-yard dash, he is still putting up good numbers. “I’ve been on the track, and, honestly, I just ran probably like a week ago,” Owens explained “I was clocked at like a 4.4. Faster than I probably ever have in probably in a while.”

If you’re an Owens fan, this will certainly come as intriguing news, although it is no guarantee that he can come back into the NFL. At the end of the day, 47-year-olds are at a huge disadvantage when it comes to matchups, and Owens could very well get caught up by the young cornerbacks and safeties we see today.

Let us know which team you think could benefit from Owens, in the comments below.

Nicki Minaj’s Husband Kenneth Petty Sues To Be Removed From Sex Offender Registry: Report

Almost a week after it was reported that both Nicki Minaj and her husband Kenneth Petty were on the receiving end of a lawsuit, a new report states Petty has filed a suit of his own. In 1995, Petty was convicted of the attempted rape of Jennifer Hough and served four years behind bars. Once he was released, he was mandated to register as a sex offender.

It wouldn’t be the last run-in with the law for Petty, because in 2006 he was sentenced to seven years in prison for the 2002 murder of Lamont Robinson. Police alleged that Petty ran down Robinson in the street, jumped out of a vehicle, and shot him. Robinson reportedly lived long enough to name Petty as his killer and Petty would go on to serve seven years in prison.

The attempted rape case has caused Petty’s alleged victim to file a lawsuit because she claims since 2018, she has been pressured, harassed, and attempted to be bribed into not speaking about the case. As Minaj and Petty face off against that lawsuit, TMZ reports that Petty is suing the State of New York, including its Criminal Justice Services, because he wants his name removed from its sex offender’s registry.

The outlet states that Petty, who was placed as a Risk Level 2 sex offender—classified as an overall danger to the public—, claims he wasn’t notified of the hearing that decided on what level he would be issued. He says that it occurred in 2004 when he was in jail and also states that he never signed paperwork and what authorities have is a forgery. Petty believes “he never got his constitutional right to due process.”

He also claims that his reputation has suffered, resulting in “humiliation and financial loss,” and that includes his 2020 arrest for not registering as a sex offender in California. It is reported he is only seeking for his name to be completely removed from the registry.

Kyle Kuzma Cops Humongous Back Tattoo

Kyle Kuzma is one of the most tatted-up players in the entire NBA, and when something major happens in his life, you can expect him to get a tattoo to commemorate that event. After all, tattoos are meant to be something that is meaningful to you, and Kuzma certainly makes sure to reflect that in the artwork that lines his body.

One of Kuzma’s favorite artists is Herchell L. Carrasco who has done artwork for some of the biggest celebrities out there. According to Carrasco, Kuzma stopped by his shop recently and got one of his biggest pieces yet. The tattoo in question pays homage to Kuzma’s days at the University of Utah, and as you can see below, this thing is massive.

Kodak Black Urges The Public To Wear Masks

Kodak Black has doubled down on a familiar concept: wear your masks.

Taking to Twitter, the rapper reveled that the mother of one of his friends passed away due to COVID-19 complications and he used it as a harsh reminder to keep masks on as the virus rages on.

Y’all Put Dem Masks Back On My Homie Jus Loss His Momma From Dat Shit

The start of the summer saw more lax regulations when it came to COVID-19 this year, but as new variants continue to arise with the most common and deadly being the Delta variant, many states and cities are rolling back out their mandates regarding masks, large groups and eating out.

Across the united States, as children return to in-person schooling, parents and local school boards are clashing as many policymakers impose mandates on masks.

Notably in Florida, Governor Rick DeSantis has put a ban on mask mandates, threatening budget cuts of school districts impose them. Several districts have already violated the ruling, requiring that students wear masks to stop the spread of COVID-19.

Apryl Jones Chooses Between Being “Happy But Poor” Or “Sad But Rich”

They say money doesn’t buy happiness, but some believe that it can surely help put a smile on their faces. Apryl Jones seems to have left her reality television career with Love & Hip Hop behind, at least for now, and the mother of two has been focusing on her career outside of entertainment. The ongoing tension with her ex Omarion continues to plague Jones as she recently complained about him serving her with court papers, and she has also been at the center of gossip regarding whether or not she has been dating Dr. Dre.

Jones recently sparked a debate on social media after she made a post about if she would choose to be “happy but poor” or “sad but rich.”

In her caption, she added, “Poverty may be a temporary state of bing for some, but NEVER choose poverty! Ima cry all the way to the bank!#RichB*tchChronicles.” Many people joked that they already know what being “sad and poor” is like, so “sad but rich” sounds much better. However, there were those who argued that money can’t soothe the soul, and happiness was a better bet.

Jones’s Love & Hip Hop peer Bambi, Lil Scrappy’s wife, seemed to agree with the stance of being “sad but rich,” because she commented “Period” under the post. Jones replied, “You already know lol.” If you had to choose one or the other, which would you pick? Check out Apryl’s post below.

Kevin Durant Looks To Destigmatize Weed With New Business Deal

Kevin Durant is one of the best players in the entire NBA, and over the last few years, he has made sure to use his stardom to his advantage thanks to various business deals. Durant has also been very honest about his weed usage, which makes it unsurprising that he would sign a deal with a weed-related company.

Well, that’s exactly what happened recently as Durant signed a new deal with a brand called Weedmaps. With this new partnership, Durant will act as an ambassador for the brand, and he will also be sponsored by them. Weedmaps is a company that helps people locate dispensaries in their area, and now, Durant will help make the brand a household name.

Durant spoke on this new partnership and noted that his main goal is to educate people on marijuana, especially when it comes to the realm of athletics.

“I think it’s far past time to address the stigmas around cannabis that still exist in the sports world as well as globally,” Durant said via ESPN. “This partnership is going to help us continue to normalize those conversations, as well as create content, events, and a lot more through our Boardroom media network. This is just the beginning for us.”

Durant continues to be one of the biggest basketball stars in the world, and there is no doubt that this partnership will help Durant educate people throughout the world. Marijuana is largely becoming destigmatized around the U.S., which is something that has been celebrated by many.

MSNBC Host Ari Melber Quotes Biggie To Encourage People To Get Vaccinated

If there’s one thing MSNBC host Ari Melber is going to do, it’s force an awkward hip-hop quote in reference to complicated current events and political issues. Whether that’s a good thing or not is up to the viewer, but at least he’s trying to keep things relevant. His latest attempt came this afternoon during a segment on COVID-19 vaccine reluctance, into which Melber injected a quote taken from The Notorious B.I.G.’s 1997 Life After Death track “What’s Beef?”:

Beef is when your moms ain’t safe up in the streets
Beef is when I see you
Guaranteed to be in ICU

Melber clarifies that while COVID-19 isn’t exactly the same as having a street feud with the 6’2″, 395-pound, Brooklyn-bred rapper, it could conceivably go about as sideways. His point, of course, is that emergency rooms and intensive care units across the country are being overwhelmed with new cases of the vaccine — and that 99% of those cases are people who have not been vaccinated.

https://twitter.com/TheBeatWithAri/status/14284351382207897640

Melber’s quotes have been wide-ranging and deep; in recent months, he’s mined material from the likes of 21 Savage and Nicki Minaj, and while there are definitely plenty of rap fans who could seemingly do without his quotes, the fact that they nearly always go viral ensures that the important information and context he provides receive much-needed exposure.

Check out some of those responses below.
