Post Malone Helped A Fan Buy A House

Post Malone is going above and beyond for his fans. The rapper made a significant impact on one fan in particular during his recent visit to Scotland. While in Glasgow’s Wunderbar earlier this month, Post came across a fan named Gregor Hunter Coleman. Coleman was was singing in the pub. According to BBC, Post Malone invited Coleman to meet him after his performance, and the two instantly connected and formed a bond.

“He said, ‘Do you want a drink?,’” Coleman recalled. “I was like, ‘Listen, I’m saving for a house so I’m not drinking just now.’ Which was daft, my mates were, like, ‘Why did you turn down a drink from Post Malone?’” Apparently, Post really liked the singer because he invited him to sing at his afterparty. “He started saying, ‘How much will you charge,’” said Coleman. “I said ‘Nothing, it’s Post Malone, this is the chance of a lifetime.’” Then, according to the fan, he and the rapper started talking more, which is when the offer was made to help Coleman with his down payment. He is keeping quiet on the exact sum that Post offered him, however.

Yesterday, Post Malone made a number of huge announcements. The rapper has revealed his plans for a North American tour called “If Y’all Weren’t Here, I’d Be Crying,” scheduled for later this year. This comes hot off the heels of the announcement of his upcoming fifth album, titled Austin, set to be released on July 28. Furthermore, Post Malone will be dropping a new single called “Mourning” this coming Friday.

“You know, trying to really push myself and really do some cool stuff,” Post Malone said of the new album. “I played guitar on every song on the record and it was a really, really fun experience. I’m super, super excited to share it with you.” In his typical fashion, Post ended the announcement with some very sweet words for his fans. ““You know, I hope you guys just keep f*ckin’ being amazing and keep spreading love and just keep being yourself and I f*ckin’ love y’all, man,” he said. “Have a great f*ckin’ night, have a great f*ckin’ week, hug your fam, and just keep spreading love. Love you guys!”

Lil Durk Gifts Fan Free Merch After Hoodie Mishap

Have you ever ordered merch from one of your favorite artists and been very excited for it to arrive in the mail? This was recently the case for a big fan of Lil Durk. Twitter user @4PF_Rami ordered a hoodie from Durk’s official merch site, otfgear.com.

Considering the garment ran the Twitter user $75 plus shipping, it seems like a fair sentiment. “I don’t mean to be rude but I feel like you tried to play me,” he wrote.

He even included a side-by-side comparison of him wearing the hoodie he received and the photo of it from the website. He was right, they don’t exactly resemble each other.

The hoodie that Durk is modeling on the site reads “Only The Family” arced across the chest. The placement appears perfectly aligned in the top middle of the garment.

On the one that Rami received, the lettering doesn’t appear to be gold. The font even looks skinnier and appears to be screen printed without precision.

Lil Durk Makes Things Right

Due to his Twitter following of nearly 30,000, word got around quickly. To make up for it, the “3 Headed Goat” rapper sent Rami a care package of various merch pieces.

OTF is Durk’s rap collective from Chicago, which he formed by himself in 2010. It’s home to artists such as the late King Von and Booka600.

As a group, they’ve released four albums. The most recent of which was Only The Family – Lil Durk Presents: Loyal Bros. Durk’s solo hit, “Hellcats & Trackhawks” is featured on the project.

All in all, this is a cool interaction between a big artist and a fan. Since the fan was respectable about the situation, it seems as though Durk and his team were happy to make things right.

Would you have done the same thing if you received a piece of merch like this? Comment down below.
