Firefly Festival Announced Their 2021 Set Times With A Cheeky Nod To Lizzo’s ‘Rumors’

Delaware’s music festival game has been going strong over the last few years with the success of Firefly Festival. This year’s event coming up in just a few short weeks, so the festival took to social media today to share their full set lists with fans so they can start planning their time on the grounds. Of course, there’s always some artist conflicts that lead to tough choices, but for the most part, fans can spread their time out wisely with a schedule as packed as the one going down in Dover next month.

With headliners as disparate as The Killers, Billie Eilish, Lizzo and Tame Impala, there should be something for everyone on the bill. Not only that, but all four of those headliners have either already dropped brand new albums this year, or are gearing up to do so shortly — Lizzo, we’re looking at you. In the meantime, the festival’s social media post announcing the info cheekily took a page out of Lizzo’s book, mimicking a few bars from her new single with Cardi B, “Rumors,” for the post:

“All the rumors are true, yeah
What ya’ heard, that’s true, yeah
These set times for you, yeah
Passes on sale, so do that

More GA and VIP Single Day and Weekend Passes have become available! Link in bio to investigate.”

So if you haven’t gotten a pass yet, there’s still time. Head over to the festival’s website for more info. And to see all the set times in one place go right here.

Firefly Festival’s 2021 Lineup Includes Billie Eilish, The Killers, Tame Impala, And Lizzo

Festival season is upon us once more, last year’s barren lineups, canceled shows, and quarantine protocols be damned. Now that vaccination is a real option, festivals have slowly but surely begun announcing their lineups, and Delaware’s Firefly Festival joined the fray today. Their four main headliners are no surprise to those who have been following the artists making waves on 2021 setlist: Billie Eilish, The Killers, Tame Impala and Lizzo will hold down the four top spots. And you know what else is great about that lineup, aside from the fact that all four artists make incredible music? That it’s a 50/50 headliner setup with two bands anchored by men, and two women holding their own, too.

The discussion about how male-dominated festival bookings have been has been going on for years, so it’s nice to see that some events took the time off last year to make sure they come back with a bit of gender equity on the docket. Check out the album poster below, along with a list of every artist booked for the event in alphabetical order. And before you ask, yes, Phoebe Bridgers is going to be there. The event kicks off on Thursday, September 23, 2021 and runs through Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Delaware’s Woodlands.
