ASAP Rocky & LL COOL J Skate On Our New “Fire Emoji” Playlist Update: Stream

Autumn is upon us, and with it falls a slew of hot new hip-hop releases to go through. For that, we’ve got our latest Fire Emoji playlist update ready, rounding up the best of the best rap of the week. Starting us off is a new album that perhaps you might not want to call a comeback, but it certainly feels like that more than ever before. LL COOL J finally graced fans with his new LP THE FORCE, his first studio project in 11 years. It’s got a lot of Q-Tip-produced highlights, but we’d recommend you start by checking out “Murdergram Deux” featuring Eminem.

Also on Fire Emoji is the brand-new single from ASAP Rocky and J. Cole, The Alchemist-produced “Ruby Rosary.” This track builds around cold, somber, eerie, but nonetheless dreamy piano samples, intoxicating and entrancing flows and vocal effects, and a lot of despondent but determined affirmations from both MCs. It’s an amazing teaser ahead of Pretty Flacko’s Don’t Be Dumb later this year. It’s also got some supposed Drake disses here and there, but you already knew that and probably don’t care at this point.

Elsewhere, we also wanted to shout out this new star-studded collaborative team featured on the track “Can’t Hold Me Down.” Pharrell, Lil Wayne, Lil Yachty, and Kyle Richh joined forces for the multi-media music division Doodles, which released this single as part of an EP for an animated special. Another welcome collaboration on Fire Emoji is the multi-lingual UK garage-inspired cut “Moi” from Central Cee and RAYE. Even though these combinations with drill might not sound fitting on paper, the atmosphere, tender melodies, and modular instrumentation here ends up fitting it all together successfully.

Meanwhile, Toosii and Gunna work together like bread and butter on “Champs Élysées,” a woozy and vibe-heavy trap cut. Finally, we’d be remiss not to mention Boldy James and Antt Beatz’s new single “Super Mario.” It puts the Detroit MC over his city’s traditional bounce – a rare combination these days for the Concreature. Let us know what your favorite Fire Emoj pick was this week, as well as what else we missed, down in the comments below. Check the playlist out above and, as always, come back to HNHH for the latest great rap drops around the clock.

Big Sean & Doechii Plant Their Flags On Our New “Fire Emoji” Playlist Update

August comes to a close, and we have a fresh set of the best of the best hip-hop to drop this week on our new Fire Emoji playlist update. Moreover, leading the way is the highly anticipated album from Big Sean, Better Me Than You. As far as highlights from it, we recommend the wavy “It Is What It Is” with Gunna and the Bryson Tiller and Kodak Black collab “This N That” for you to start with. Elsewhere, Doechii also made a big splash with her excellent new mixtape Alligator Bites Never Heal, which contains standout cuts like the bouncy “SLIDE.”

Furthermore, another Fire Emoji standout this week is another long-awaited project: the latest from Destroy Lonely, LOVE LASTS FOREVER. On it, he’s able to show off his dynamic delivery on cuts like “CADILLAC” and develop his collaborative chemistry with artists like Lil Uzi Vert on the slow-burning “LOVE HURTS.” In addition, we also got a new single from A$AP Rocky leading up to his upcoming studio album return, Don’t Be Dumb. “Tailor Swif” is a pretty standard but effective display of new Rocky: minimal melodic elements, crispy and rattling percussion, and some catchy albeit simple flows.

Fire Emoji also showcases the new album from Strick, ALL TIME HIGH, and hopefully this sheds more light on this North Carolina artist’s versatility. On “CR@SH” with Travis Scott for example, they complement each other’s styles effortlessly while coming through with earworm vocal riffs and some atmospheric production. On a similarly drenched-out and woozy tip, we have the new single from BNYX and Yeat (plus Superheaven), “GO AGAIN.” They work as well together as they ever have, and some flanged electric guitar riffs add a lot of character and melancholy to this otherwise tough-as-nails and drowsy banger.

We’d be remiss not to mention Chance The Rapper’s latest killer single “3333” and its combination of pianos, trumpets, and subtle drums. Finally, Cordae and Anderson .Paak added to their collection of amazing J. Cole-produced collabs with “Summer Drop.” Let us know what your favorite Fire Emoji release was this week, as well as what else we missed, down in the comments section below. Travis Scott Revives His Classics On Our New “Fire Emoji” Playlist Update

Our Fire Emoji playlist is back with the best of the best hip-hop drops of the week, although it’s a bit of an odd and unique one. Rather than having a fresh release be the headliner, the hip-hop world instead rallied around celebrating a ten-year-old fan-favorite. Travis Scott finally released DAYS BEFORE RODEO on streaming services, letting DSP users enjoy “Skyfall,” “Drugs You Should Try It,” and other classic tracks of his in their full-ish glory. Some tracks have been altered due to sample clearances or other considerations, but for the most part, it’s the DBR you know and love.

Another reason as to why our new Fire Emoji update is a bit weirder this time around is because one of the other highlights of the week isn’t on Spotify anymore. Benny The Butcher dropped the Buffalo Butch. Vol. 1 EP with some skilled MCs, including the long-awaited Drake collab “Buffalo Freestyle.” But for unknown reasons at press time (most likely a UMG copyright strike), you won’t be able to listen to it on the platform, although you can still find it on sites like Twitter.

Elsewhere, Cash Cobain also came through with his new album PLAY CASH COBAIN, a woozy, entrancing, and admittedly horny listen. Jokes aside, there are still a lot of engaging and enveloping highlights on this LP that are worth your attention, including “act like” and “slizzyhunchodon” with Don Toliver and Quavo. In addition, Fire Emoji highlights the excellent “BOOM BAP” from Doechii, and its soulful sampling and fiery delivery is captivating. On more of a contemporary slant, Tee Grizzley and 42 Dugg rep their city with a lot of energy on their new collaboration, “Detroit.”

Also, we wanted to shout out Central Cee’s two-pack this week, including “Bolide Noir” with JRK 19 and “Billion Streams Freestyle.” Finally, Babyface Ray and Bossman Dlow rip through an atmospheric and eerie instrumental on “Count Money.” Let us know what your favorite Fire Emoji inclusion was this week, as well as what else we missed, down in the comments section below. Big Sean & Chance The Rapper Flaunt Their Pens On Our New “Fire Emoji” Playlist Update: Stream

Our Fire Emoji playlist isn’t slowing down anytime soon, and our latest update is here to round up the best of the best hip-hop releases of the week. Leading the way is Big Sean and The Alchemist’s new single “Together Forever,” the latest teaser for the former’s upcoming album. It’s a pretty soulful beat from Uncle Al, complete with calm and grateful verses from the Detroit native. In addition, Chance The Rapper dropped yet another single for his project, this time with Joey Purp on the boisterous “Bad Boys 2.” It’s a quick hitter, a bouncy banger, and yet another reason to be excited for what the Chicago MC does next.

Next on our latest Fire Emoji playlist is Cash Cobain’s massive new single with Laila!, “problem.” Other featured guests include Big Sean, Flo Milli, Don Q, Rob49, 6LACK, Anycia, YN Jay, Luh Tyler, Kaliii, Fabolous, Lay Bankz, Chow Lee, and Flee. As far as other big collaborations this week, we also got a new jam from Lil Yachty and Veeze, “Sorry Not Sorry.” As you might expect from the title, it’s an unapologetic display of dominant rapping from both artists.

Fortunately, if you’re a fan of posse cuts, Fire Emoji has more thanks to That Mexican OT, Curren$y, and Le$’ “1982.” This is a fast-flowing but still smooth and ethereal cut that pushes these rappers’ lyrical limits while making a pleasant and engaging sonic combination. Rob49 also came through with a lot of energy on his latest revamped collab with Skilla Baby and now GloRilla, “Mama.” There’s a lot of charisma on this single thanks to their performances, and a menacing hard trap instrumental that keeps the bounce up.

Meanwhile, Latto updated her new album Sugar Honey Iced Tea with the fan-favorite “Chicken Grease” bonus track, adding to the LP’s longevity. Finally, speaking of new albums, we got a brand new Gangsta Grillz mixtape this week in the form of Gucci Mane’s Greatest Of All Trappers, on which “Rich N***az” is a highlight. Let us know what your favorite Fire Emoji inclusion was this week, as well as what else we missed, down in the comments section below. Ice Spice & DJ Mustard Put Their Best Foot Forward On Our “Fire Emoji” Playlist

Overall, Friday was a pretty massive day for releases in the hip-hop world. Of course, Ice Spice was looking to shake things up with her debut album Y2K! while we also got the highly-anticipated Mustard album. We also got blessed with a bunch of other phenomenal releases from the genre’s biggest stars. Having said all of that, lets dive into the latest update to our “Fire Emoji” playlist which contains some of the best tracks of the entire weekend.

Firstly, the playlist starts off with “Saturday Mornings” by Cordae and Lil Wayne. It is a collaboration that is most certainly worth your time. We could not forget Ice Spice on here as her “Oh Shhh” collab with Travis Scott takes the cake. Moreover, Mustard’s entry on here comes thanks to the song “Pressured Up” which has two dope features from the likes of ScHoolboy Q and Vince Staples. Needless to say, Mustard kept things West Coast on his album.

Furthermore, Young Nudy and Metro Boomin’s “John Wayne” had to be put on the list as it is one of those songs that was a crowd pleaser off rip. We’re also loving “2 Slippery” from Luh Tyler and BossMan Dlow. Lastly, DJ Premier’s new collaboration with Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, and Big Sean called “Ya Don’t Stop” made the list. From there, “Like A Mack” by Larry June rounded things out.

Big Sean & Denzel Curry Blaze Through Our New “Fire Emoji” Playlist Update: Stream

As the summer heats up, so does our Fire Emoji playlist, whose newest update rounds up the best of the best hip-hop that dropped this week. There are a lot of big releases to talk about, and one of those is Denzel Curry’s new project King Of The Mischievous South Vol. 2. Across 15 tracks, fiery verses, and bombastic guest performances, the Florida native built a hard-hitting and consistent body of work led by highlights like “HOODLUMZ” with PlayThatBoiZay and A$AP Rocky and “SET IT” with Maxo Kream. In addition, Big Sean fully launched the hype behind his next album with the new single “Yes.”

Elsewhere on our Fire Emoji playlist, you’ll find one of the most exciting, talked-about, and anticipated releases this summer: Childish Gambino’s new album Bando Stone And The New World. It feels like a summary of Donald Glover’s entire discography, bringing lush and soulful jams plus boisterous and aggressive lyrical displays. If you’re looking for the more amped-up side of Bando Stone, “Yoshinoya” contains possibly the most impressive rap performance on the LP. Also, the Yeat-assisted “Cruisin’” is a futuristic banger that continues the 2093 creative’s excellent streak in 2024.

However, if you’re looking for more straightforward trunk-knockers on Fire Emoji this week, we’ve got you covered with Rob49 and Cardi B’s new collab, “On Dat Money.” Thanks to a high-octane percussive pattern, equally rapid flows, and a lot of vivid and impactful flexes, it’s one of the most gritty cuts that dropped this week. Speaking of femcees, Culture Jam brought together BIA, Lakeyah, and Flau’jae for the new track “Can’t Get Enough,” which takes more of a clubby bounce. It’s a pretty minimal record overall, but cool and confident lyrical performances take center stage without complaint.

Rich The Kid also made his full-length comeback this week with Life’s A Gamble, on which “Not In The Mood” featuring Offset is a particularly wavy cut. Finally, we want to salute Lil Yachty for his woozy and buzzy new single “Lets Get On Dey A**.” Let us know what your favorite Fire Emoji inclusion was this week, as well as what else we missed, down there in the comments section below. Eminem Scorches The Rap Game On Our New “Fire Emoji” Playlist Update: Stream

Welcome back to our Fire Emoji playlist update, where we rounded up the best of the best hip-hop releases of the week for your convenience. Moreover, we have a big release leading the way this week: Eminem’s highly anticipated new album, The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce). While there are definitely some more tender, somber, and light-hearted moments on the project, it’s also full of fiery bangers and a whole lot of bars. If you want a taster of the LP before diving in, we’d recommend the opener “Renaissance,” the JID-assisted “Fuel,” and the Sly Pyper-assisted “Lucifer” to get an idea of what you’re in for.

Elsewhere on Fire Emoji, and speaking of new albums, we also wanted to shout out Jay Worthy and DāM-FunK’s new project, Magic Hour. It’s also a lengthy and expansive release, featuring a lot of awesome guests and embracing a fully drenched West Coast aesthetic. As far as highlights, we’d look no further than the bouncy, smooth, and summery “Heartstop” featuring Channel Tres. Thanks to funky bass, nostalgic keys, and some old-school drums, it sounds like a wonderful throwback with a lot of contemporary vocal charisma.

In addition, Fire Emoji also boasts a lot of hot new collaborations this week, including BossMan Dlow and Lil Baby’s new team-up, “PJ.” It’s a pretty straightforward trap banger with boastful bars and simple but still engaging flows, but the real highlight is hearing these MCs trade the mic. As for other collabs, we also got a Cali/ATL/Detroit team-up with YG, Lil Yachty, and Babyface Ray’s new single, “STUPID.” The bounce is absolutely undeniable, and each rapper takes turns with some comical bars and fit-like-a-glove flows.

Ice Spice and Central Cee also linked up with a lot of chemistry for a new style-melding single, mixing New York and UK drill with Jersey club on “Did It First.” Finally, Veeze and Rylo Rodriguez gifted fans with a shimmery, laidback, and woozy new single titled “F*cked A Fan.” Let us know what your favorite Fire Emoji inclusion was this week, as well as what else we missed, down in the comments section below. Eminem & Killer Mike Show Off Their Pens On Our New “Fire Emoji” Playlist Update: Stream

The second half of 2024 is musically kicking off with quite a bang, and our latest Fire Emoji playlist update is here to round up the best of the best hip-hop that dropped this week. Moreover, we’re almost at the release date for one of the most anticipated albums of the year: Eminem’s The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce). Marshall Mathers lit a fire under this hype with the Detroit-repping new single “Tobey” with Big Sean and BabyTron. Across three fast and fiery verses, menacing and minimal production, and combative and confident charisma, this is exactly what fans needed to get them ready for the project.

Furthermore, another huge release on Fire Emoji this week was Killer Mike’s “HUMBLE ME,” on which he addresses his controversial Grammys arrest. As far as the sound and progression of this new song, it’s a hard-hitting Southern affair whose distorted sampling and passionate lyrical delivery still retain a lot of soul. Speaking of passion, Trae Tha Truth and J. Cole display bucketloads of it in big and small ways on the “Trae Tha Truth In Ibiza” remix. Through rapid bars, tender sampling, and a laidback and crisp drum pattern, it’s one of the most pleasant listens you’ll find this week in rap music.

But 42 Dugg isn’t concerned with pleasantries, as he and Rylo Rodriguez prove on the bombastic and irreverent “Case Closed.” It’s a highlight on Dugg’s new LP, 4eva Us Neva Them, and make sure you peep the tracklist for more bangers worthy of a Fire Emoji inclusion. In addition, there’s a similar relentless fire and gritty presentation on Rob49, Moneybagg Yo, Skilla Baby, and BossMan Dlow’s “Homebody” remix. While the melody and beat here aren’t much to write home about, these four MCs take up all your attention.

Elsewhere, Quavo and Lana Del Rey surprised many listeners with their moody and genre-fusing collab, “Tough.” Finally, we wanted to shout out KYLE and Hit-Boy’s grounded and reflective chemistry on the chilled-out track, “Dirty.” Let us know what your favorite Fire Emoji inclusion was this week, as well as what else we missed, down in the comments section below.
