Charlamagne Tha God Explains Why Kendrick Lamar Would Beat Lil Wayne In Possible Battle

Charlamagne Tha God says he’d pick Kendrick Lamar to beat Lil Wayne if the two start officially feuding. He discussed the idea on a recent episode of The Breakfast Club, after Lamar referenced Wayne by name on his new album, GNX.

“And the reason he don’t want no problem with Kendrick right now is because emotionally, mentally and spiritually, Lil Wayne is not on the level to get at Kendrick, ‘cause Kendrick would break down Lil Wayne’s whole life in a very therapeutic way [laughs]. It’s not even gonna be a diss; it’s gonna be out of love. He’s gonna break down how Wayne ushered in the era of the fiends — ’cause he did. He’s gonna talk about a lot of Wayne’s trauma’s. How Wayne’s only got three dreadlocks. It would be a lot of pressure coming from Kendrick.”

As for GNX, Lamar references Wayne on the track “wacced out murals.” “Used to bump ‘Tha Carter 3,’ I held my Rollie chain proud / Irony, I think my hard work let Lil Wayne down / Whatever, though, call me crazy, everybody questionable/ Turn me to an Eskimo, I drew the line and decimals,” he raps. “… Won the Super Bowl and Nas the only one congratulate me/ All these n****s agitated, I’m just glad they showed they faces.” Wayne had complained about the NFL selecting Lamar over him for the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show on several occasions.

Cam Newton Argues Lil Wayne Will Have A Better Chance Against Kendrick Lamar Than Drake

Cam Newton says he wants to see Lil Wayne take on Kendrick Lamar after feeling that Drake failed to match up with the “Not Like Us” rapper. Discussing the feud on the 4th & 1 Podcast, the former NFL star argued that Wayne would have a better chance against Lamar and wants to see that battle for the “appreciation of the art.”

“I’m a fan of Drake,” he said. “But after Kendrick and this beef… I look at Drake differently. I don’t think Drake has it in him to go to the places that he needs to go to attack Kendrick properly.” From there, he theorized that Wayne would have a better chance against Lamar. “He won’t be able to do that with Dwayne Carter,” he added. “I wanna see Lil’ Wayne… just for the appreciation of the art… because Drake ain’t capable.”

From there, Newton used Lamar’s headlining set at Super Bowl LIX to convince Wayne to drop a diss track. “You’re going to let this muthaf*cka come into your muthaf*ckin’ city o muthaf*ckin’ February,” Newton teased. “And you ain’t gonna drop nothing?” Wayne has complained about the NFL selecting Lamar for the New Orleans halftime show on several occasions. Performing at Lil Weezyana Fest, earlier this year, he described the opportunity as being “ripped away” from him. “I told myself I wanna be on stage at the Super Bowl in front of my mom and I worked my a** off to get that position,” he told the crowd. “It was ripped away from me but this moment right here… they can’t take this away from me.”

Joe Budden Implies Drake Told Metro Boomin To Get Over The Death Of His Mother

Joe Budden went on a fiery tirade about Drake being a “selfish, lying, manipulative, sack of sh*t who has made enemies for 15 years” during the latest episode of his podcast. In doing so, he made reference to a producer whose mother died, sparking theorizes that he was revealing the reason for Metro Boomin to be upset with Drake.

After continuing to insult the Toronto rapper, Budden said: “You have been behind the scenes hitting n****s baby moms, sending money to n****s baby moms. You been back and sending messages to this n****s wife, talking sh*t about f*cking, ‘Aye, but this n****s mom died. Aye all that’s cool but where my beat at n***a. I don’t give a f*ck that your mom died.’ This n****s been a sack of sh*t behind the scenes and because he got fans and had Lucian, everybody just gets to turn a blind eye. The blind eye days are done.”

Budden’s remark about offending a producer whose mother died appears to be a reference to Metro Boomin, who helped launch Kendrick Lamar’s feud with Drake by releasing his fiery verse on “Like That.” Fans have been taking Metro’s side in the situation on social media in response. “‘IDC that n***a mom died..send my beat’ if that’s metro beef with drake that’s valid. Drake deserved that sh*t. That’s some cold sh*t bruh,” one user wrote on X (formerly Twitter). Another added: “Nah if he really said that to metro I get why he went and got Kendrick.”

Metro’s mother, Leslie Wayne, was allegedly killed by the producer’s stepfather in a murder-suicide back in 2022. He’s spoken about how the traumatic incident has impacted him on multiple occasions in the time since. Check out Joe Budden’s full rant about Drake below.

Joe Budden Goes Scorched Earth On Drake In The Most Joe Budden Way Possible

Joe Budden went off on Drake on the latest episode of his podcast, accusing him of making enemies in the music industry for 15 years behind the scenes. The rant comes after Drake’s feud with Kendrick Lamar reached another level on Monday, as he took legal action against Universal Music Group.

After one of his co-hosts prefaced Drake’s current situation as being the first time he’s battled adversity in his career, Budden set the record straight in his eyes. “Or, he’s a selfish, lying, manipulative, sack of sh*t who has made enemies for 15 years and now, we’re here at the f*cking boiling point,” he remarked. “You’ve been behind the scenes being the biggest sack of sh*t you can possibly be. I’m not here to f*cking play games with you n****s. N****s know what it is out there. That’s it. And, he’s f*cking white, and he’s Jewish. And, he had too much dip on his chip. You have been behind the scenes hitting n****s baby moms, sending money to n****s baby moms. From there Budden asked his co-hosts when the last time Drake dropped a single “with legs.” He argued it’s been since the release of 2018’s “God’s Plan.” Expanding on Drake’s alleged reputation, Budden claimed that the situation is beyond hip-hop beef and tech billionaires hate him now. He concluded by bringing up several artists including Rick Ross, Meek Mill, and T.I., suggesting that they’re all at the “back end” of their careers and Drake’s trying too hard to avoid getting there.

Drake Demands xQc Shut Off The Weeknd’s Music During Livestream

Drake demanded that xQc turn off The Weeknd’s hit song, “Starboy,” while speaking with the Canadian livestreamer on Sunday night. “We got to switch this song off,” Drake remarked during the broadcast, before breaking into laughter. “We gotta switch this one. Joe Budden Says He’d Never Forgive Future If He Was Drake

Joe Budden discussed Drake’s relationship with Future during the latest episode of his podcast, admitting that if he were in the Toronto rapper’s shoes, he’d never forgive Future for siding with Kendrick Lamar and Metro Boomin in their recent feud with him. Budden explained that while he’d love to hear more collaborations between the two, he’s fine with them never repairing their relationship.

“I’m not gonna lie to y’all. If I’m Drake, it’s up for life. Forever and ever and ever. I’m never working with none of you. I don’t think that’s gonna happen,” Budden said of Drake and Future. Skepta Explains Why Kendrick Lamar & Drake’s Beef Is Hurting Hip-Hop

Skepta says that Kendrick Lamar and Drake’s viral feud from earlier this year is bad for the business of hip-hop and casts a negative light on younger artists looking for opportunities. While speaking with Ebro Darden, Skepta argued that the two are closing the very doors they opened in the industry.

“When stuff like that gets said now, it’s more personal. There was one K. Dot diss track that came out and I was like, ‘This is over.’ Like this isn’t rap. This isn’t clashing anymore. This is over like they don’t like each other. It’s clear. I can hear it. I can hear it in his voice. He doesn’t like him,” he began. From there, Skepta brought up how both artists have major contracts with huge companies and that talking to each other like this “is looking crazy.” He explained: “It’s hurting what we’ve built. It’s hurting what we’ve all built this whole time. If you don’t like each other, just link up and talk to each other and sort it out.” He concluded by arguing that the whole beef is shutting doors that Drake and Lamar opened for younger artists.
