From her Fenty empire to her fashion deals and, of course, her chart-topping music, “Umbrella” singer Rihanna is known for many things. But the title she holds above all is mother. Rumors have begun to circulate that she and beaux Asap Rocky are working on expanding their family, but the couple has two confirmed children as of today.

Yesterday (December 18), before the Fenty x Puma Creeper Phatty launch party in Los Angeles, California, Rihanna opened up about her journey through motherhood so far. While chatting with Access Hollywood (around the 1:30 mark), she confessed that she let go of all expectations going into it but was seemingly looking forward to passing on her distinctive forehead to her children.

“You don’t have an idea [when you picture your future family]. I hoped that I could have kids one day. And I hoped that I could have them in love. I hoped I could be a part of a family that breaks generational curses… it’s happening, and I can’t believe it,” said Rihanna.

She continued injecting some humor into the conversation. “The only thing I imagined was probably the forehead on RZA,” said Rihanna, referring to her oldest son.

“Riot doesn’t have it. I’m like, wait, are you sure? You can’t lose this thing,” giggled the singer.

The kicks, which range from $75 to $160, are available in two colors: deep myrtle and club avy (green and blue) in women, men, and children’s sizes.

In an interview with Vogue, Rihanna opened up about reconnecting with the brand to revive the line, saying, “It’s a bit of a family reunion. Coming back to Puma as a mom, in a new space, allowed for new perspectives and ideas. This time around, we expanded our creations to kids, ’cause I selfishly want my boys in everything their dad and I wear or design.”

A video posted to her official TikTok account shows a collection of adorable reactions from the musical superstar as she encounters the various samples of FENTY’s latest project. “Oh my God, isn’t this the cutest shit ever?” Rihanna says to someone on her phone as she holds up a little baby sneaker. “Oh my God, stop,” she is heard saying as she stops the presentation to take a picture of the samples. Announced last week, the collab dropped on September 15. The collection has mostly sold out already, with the shoes retailing for $160 or $170. However, fans were split over the name. “Riot Rose is actually a super cute unique name lol very fitting for Rihanna!” one fan wrote in support. “I hate celebrity baby names but Riot Rose knocks,” added another.

However, some fans took the opportunity to troll. “Riot Rose is a terrible name,” one person said bluntly. “*Rihanna named her 2nd son Riot* When he enter club and hypeman shout “we have Riot in the building!” joked another user. Rihanna Revealed Her First Sneaker Since Rejoining With Puma After Months Of Speculation

Rihanna, otherwise known as “the hottest person to ever exist” in the eyes of Billie Eilish, just announced what will assuredly become the hottest sneakers of Fall 2023.

On Thursday morning, September 7, Rihanna and Puma jointly revealed their first collaboration since Puma confirmed a partnership with Rihanna’s Fenty earlier this year.

“we are back…,” states the caption of an Instagram post showing Rihanna rocking all-black in a soccer (or football) ball-themed room. “reintroducing the Avanti. available Sept. 15 at puma.com & select retailers globally.”

On March 1, Puma confirmed the Fenty X Puma partnership by posting an Instagram photo with “She’s back” written above the respective logos for Fenty and Puma. “Coming soon,” the caption teased.

“While the musician-turned-mogul’s laid-back announcement may have been predictably Rihanna, the news itself is anything but predictable,” Vogue relayed at that time. “Rihanna’s relationship with Puma stretches back almost a decade: first joining the brand as creative director in 2014, she then released a series of sell-out sneakers and staged a number of shows at New York Fashion Week, receiving positive reviews from critics and customers alike. Her most recent collection for Puma was released in 2017, with the collaboration going on an unannounced hiatus while Rihanna pursued other projects.”

As captured by Highsnobiety in June, Rihanna told us without telling us what was to come with Puma by wearing the King Avanti silhouette while out and about.

And this week, Puma posted a video of Rihanna on set, being asked, “Do you have an idea where you’re going next?” She playfully responded, “Um, I mean, I know where I’m going next, but I can’t tell you that. What’s the fun in that?”

Regardless of what is being cooked up right now, you know that people are going to tap in. She is an artist who has a hold on her fanbase and culture as a whole. That means this collab is destined to be a hit.

Rihanna’s Popular ‘Fenty Puma’ Collaboration Is Making A Grand Return, According To A Cryptic New Post

After an already-record year for Rihanna, between playing the Super Bowl halftime show and announcing that she’s having another child with ASAP Rocky, it seems she still has a lot more surprises in store. Today (March 1), Puma teased that the singer’s Fenty x Puma collaboration will be making a return — through a straight-to-the-point message.

“She’s back,” Puma’s social media post read, adding, “Coming soon.”

Back in 2014, Rihanna was appointed by Puma as their Women’s Training Ambassador and Women’s Creative Director.

“It’s great to find a brand that celebrates strength and individuality,” Rihanna said back in 2014 (as Complex notes). “I couldn’t think of a more perfect partner to collaborate with as a creative director. I’m excited for you to see what Puma and I come up with.”

A few years later, she went on to appear on the runway at the Fenty Puma 2016 fashion show, in support of the popular partnership. The collection previously included sneakers, fur slides, backpacks, jackets, bodysuits, and more.

While there is not much else on information regarding Fenty x Puma’s return, fans can still purchase past items on resale spots like The Real Real and other sites. They can also expect to see Rihanna perform at the Oscars on March 12.
