Post Malone Reportedly Blows Off Deposition In $350K Case With Ex-Girlfriend

Post Malone is reportedly dismissing a deposition for a $350K court case involving his split from ex-girlfriend Ashlen Diaz. Both individuals face a lawsuit from Martorell Law, who Diaz hired to arrange palimony from Post (support for non-married split couples) after their 2018 breakup. Moreover, Martorell accused both of reaching a private agreement and cutting the firm from previously promised settlement percentages. Now, the law firm alleged that Malone did not respond to the deposition served in his home of Utah.

According to a Radar Online report on Friday (March 3), Martorell filed a motion for a default judgement against Post of $787,027.60 for failing to answer the court order. Also, they claim that his legal team “refused to accommodate the request and instead threatened to bring malicious prosecution charges … six times despite Martorell noting repeatedly that he heard the threat and respectfully requesting he not repeat it.” Then, his lawyers addressed the situation by maintaining that he did not receive the notice upon delivery and only recently became aware of it.

“Because of the nature of my work as a touring musician, I spend most of my time on the road traveling for work or performing on tour,” Post stated in his team’s filing. “Indeed, in 2022, I only spent an estimated combined total of 2 months in the State of Utah. I had no idea I had been sued, and I had no idea I was a party to this action. I did not learn about the existence of this lawsuit until on or around December 19, 2022, upon which my attorneys were swiftly notified.”

Meanwhile, this adds to the “rockstar” singer’s legal problems, such as a suit involving Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs. Among several other famous codefendants, he faced accusations of misleading promotion and dishonestly valuing digital products. Moreover, the suit is specifically against Yuga Labs Inc., the company behind the virtual pieces. Regardless of his legal woes, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest on Post Malone.

Drake Regrets Calling Out Ex-Girlfriends In His Music

It seems the Certified Lover Boy wishes he spoke on his losses romantically in a different light. Drake recently opened up about regretting how he aired out ex-girlfriends in his music in his recent interview with Lil Yachty. Moreover, he specifically mentioned that one former partner in particular made him rethink how his lyrics could affect their lives. Of course, this was also the same interview where the 6 God pondered a “graceful exit” from the rap game (don’t worry, it’s not happening yet). With that in mind, maybe the Canadian superstar is considering the different ways in which his legacy will endure- and what he could do now to solidify it the way he wants to.

“I hate hearing that s**t,” he said of his track “Weston Road Flows, particularly a line in which he said he’d retire at 35. Furthermore, now he views the proclamation as pretty ageist. “I heard it the other night. I think that and some times when I’ve said girls’ names in songs, maybe those are the two things that I look back on and I’m like, ‘Maybe I coulda done without, like, s***ting on people for age or disrupting somebody’s life.’ The lyrics are never with ill intent, but I had somebody tell me one time, ‘You know, it’s not necessarily what you’re saying about me, it’s the fact that you said it.’”

Drake Discusses Ex-Girlfriends With Lil Yachty

Moreover, he elaborated on why that conversation with his ex led him to reflect on what other effect his bars potentially have. “Just in the sense like, ‘You don’t know what it does to me. You don’t know who my boyfriend is at the time or you don’t know what my family knows or doesn’t know. And if you express any form of discontent for me and call me by name in a song, then all of a sudden I’m left to pick up the pieces of my own life that I’ve tried to build up for myself.’ So I’ve tried my best to stop doing that. But I like to be honest in music too, so that one’s a push and pull.”

Meanwhile, the topic of retirement is one Drizzy’s often visited, although these relationship regrets are brand-new (at least publicly). Speaking to Nicki Minaj on her Queen Radio show in August 2022, he said that releasing music is still the most exciting thing in the world. “I’m not at that point where I even consider that being an option,” he shared to Onika. “One of the best feelings I have in my life is completing a song or project. And by the way, those things are painful as well. A lot of nerves, a lot of confidence wavering. But I feel like I’m reaching a new level of fun.” Let us know what you think of his reflections down below and return to HNHH for the latest on Drake.

Juice Wrld’s Ex-Girlfriend, Ally Lotti, Arrested For Drug Possession & Theft: Report

Juice Wrld’s ex-girlfriend, Ally Lotti, has reportedly been arrested on charges of drug possession and theft. XXL reports that Lotti was booked at Crittenden County Sheriff’s Office in West Memphis, Arkansas on Saturday morning.

All-in-all, Lotti is facing charges of possession of methamphetamine or cocaine with the purpose to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, and theft of property. She is currently jailed on a $2,525 bond.

Lil Bibby responded to news of Lotti’s arrest in a comment on DJ Akademiks’ Instagram page.

“Damn, Meth? Free Ally,” he wrote.

Juice Wrld and Ally Lotti dated for about a year before the rapper’s tragic passing in 2019. Lotti was on the private plane with Juice Wrld when he died of an accidental drug overdose “as a result of oxycodone and codeine toxicity,” according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office. Juice Wrld was just 21 years old at the time of his death.

Lotti recently made headlines when she claimed that Juice Wrld didn’t actually die from an overdose. Instead, she says there’s more to the story than the public knows about.

“Y’all mad ’cause literally I’m like, ‘Oh, blah blah blah, you guys think he died from an overdose.’ You’re wrong! You’re wrong!” she said on social media back in November. “Literally, you’re wrong so suck a dick. Okay? Suck a dick.”

She added: “There’s a lot of shit y’all don’t know that I fucking grieved through myself while I let y’all grieve and talk mad shit on me. I don’t care.”
