DJ Akademiks Responds To Rape Lawsuit, Implies Big Institutions Are Out To Get Him

DJ Akademiks has been dealing with a severe lawsuit that includes allegations of rape, sexual assault and defamation. The accuser is former girlfriend, Fauziya “Ziya” Abashe, in which she essentially describes a night that went south. Abashe claims that after not seeing Ak for about year, she was invited to his house on July 16, 2022. Additionally, the lawsuit details a disturbing series of events, as she says she was drugged by two of Ak’s friends. After allegedly being raped by both of them, she was awakened by DJ Akademiks around 4 a.m. Furthermore, it gruesomely explains that he was allegedly “pulling her hair, prying open her legs, and brutally raping her.”

After declining to speak with Rolling Stone after their piece, he went on livestream to respond to these allegations. During his animated diatribe, he seems to be implying that Roc Nation and Tyrone Blackburn are hunting him. The latter is the attorney who has been representing Lil Rod in the infamous Diddy situation. In the clip below, Akademiks is seemingly alluding to the fact that Blackburn is also the one representing Abashe. If you remember, numerous reports came out that he was being critiqued for the salacious lawsuits he was using. In an article from Baller Alert, the federal judge overseeing the hearings was suggesting that he was trying to attract media buzz and “embarrass defendants” instead of seeking justice.

DJ Akademiks Suggests That He Is Being Targeted

In terms of the Roc Nation post above, Akademiks also is suggesting that the famous label is out to slander his name. This belief presumably stems from the fact that the media pundit has been critical of the Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez situation. The CEO of Roc Nation, Desiree Perez, is also on the Rolling Stone Culture Council. Of course, that is where the main report about the lawsuit came from earlier today. Overall, Akademiks’ implications in regard to Perez and Blackburn do not hold any concrete evidence. That could change, but for now, this is simply hearsay from Ak. There is certainly more to come on this, so be sure to stick around with HNHH.

What are your thoughts on the response from DJ Akademiks in regard to the rape lawsuit filed against him earlier today? Are his claims that he is being targeted by Tyrone Blackburn farfetched or fair? How do you think this will all play out in the future and why? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Nicki Minaj Reveals Her Next Target Is Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez

Nicki Minaj has been on a tear over the last few days. Overall, it is being widely debated whether or not this tear has been a good thing. No matter the case, it is clear that she is angry. The reason for her anger stems from the track “Hiss,” in which she and Kenneth Petty are dissed by Megan Thee Stallion. In fact, it seems like Meg may have also taken shots at Tory Lanez and Drake. Either way, Nicki is upset about all of this, and she has been taking to social media to reveal her hatred for Meg.

This morning, Nicki even dropped off her diss track “Big Foot.” Unfortunately for Nicki, this new diss track is not getting the reaction she probably would have hoped for. Instead, people are clowning the diss track, saying that it has some of here worst bars yet. Furthermore, Safaree has begun trending as some think he really did ghostwrite for her. Regardless, Nicki does not care. She is making it clear that she has more gas in the tank, and is not afraid to piss more people off. In fact, in the tweet below, she revealed who her next target will be.

Nicki Minaj Picks Her Next Move

Desiree Perez is the CEO of Roc Nation, and she is someone who has been name-checked by Nicki in the past. There is clearly some tension there, and Minaj may just fire off a diss track about her, very soon. “On the next song I delve into all the ppl Desiree allegedly fired for unknown reasons…other things as well,” Nicki said. “So many ppl were blind sighted & hurt by her. Allegedly. She’s willing to go broke to try to replace me…? Fix it JESUS.” For now, a release date for this Perez diss is unknown.

Whether or not Nicki releases this track, remains to be seen. However, she seems dead set on going after every single person who has ever wronged her. If nothing else, Nicki is showing us she still has a lot of fire. Tell us your thoughts on Nicki and her recent actions, in the comments section below. Roc Nation CEO Will Sit For Deposition In Megan Thee Stallion, 1501 Case: Report

The ongoing legal battle between Megan Thee Stallion and 1501 Certified Entertainment recently received another ruling. The rapper has been hush-hush following Tory Lanez’s conviction, and as she gains support from her followers, a judge ruled about Roc Nation’s CEO, Desiree Perez.

According to Billboard, Perez will have to sit for a deposition in the case. Megan’s legal team attempted to have the deposition blocked, citing 1501 was “harassing” the industry leader.

The rapper and her label have been at odds for years. She wants out of her contract and stated she’d fulfilled all necessities to end her agreement with 1501. However, they claim she still owes them another record because one of her projects shouldn’t be counted as an album.

Things have also spilled over onto social media as 1501 boss Carl Crawford often appears with opinions about the Houston Hottie. Following Megan signing a management deal with Roc Nation, the company’s attorneys reportedly told her that the 1501 deal was “well below industry standards.”

The label wanted Perez to sit for a deposition because they called her a key witness. However, Megan’s team tried shielding her with the apex doctrine.

The apex doctrine states that “busy top officials only need to testify when they have unique info that can’t be derived from other less burdensome sources,” writes Billboard.

However, 1501 responded by saying Perez was “directly, personally, and substantially involved in the underlying facts of the lawsuit.”

A date hasn’t been shared for the deposition, nor has one been set for the jury trial.

Why Roc Nation's Desiree Perez Was Pardoned By Donald Trump

Among the notable names in hip-hop hoping for presidential pardons by Donald Trump in 2021, Desiree Perez didn’t have as much at stake as others.
