Jacquees and Deiondra Sanders seem to be the hot new item right now, although we don’t want to get too ahead of ourselves. Both of them took to social media with some vacation snaps with their friends, and the former posted a picture of the two embracing while on a boat. Whether it was on the sea or out for drinks and bites at night, it seemed like everyone had an amazing time. What’s more is that this is just days after they (presumably) went to Usher’s concert, and the performer was stunned by his R&B companion’s partner. We say “presumably” because we can’t confirm whether that person was Deion Sanders’ daughter or not.
Yes, if the name didn’t already clue you in, Jacquees’ apparent new boo comes from the Coach Prime household. They are a tight-knit and loving bunch, and they all have their own endeavors, business ambitions, and career goals to nurture. Back in June for Deion Sanders’ surgery, we saw a clip of the whole family joking around on FaceTime, wishing their dad well and keeping him in good spirits. As such, we know that Deiondra is just as used to working hard for your life as she is to reaping the fun benefits of that hard work.
As far as the “Krazy” artist goes, he’s just been enjoying life recently, dropping singles here and there and sometimes popping up in the pop culture world’s largest circles. For example, one big story this year had to do with Keke Palmer and Darius Jackson’s relationship spiraling into animosity thanks to his reactions to her dress and behavior at an Usher concert. When a random commenter brought Jacquees into the conversation and compared his shows to the Confessions star’s, he wanted absolutely nothing to do with it. The more drama he can escape, the better.
Meanwhile, you might remember Deiondra’s controversial comments on murders at JSU during her dad’s time there. That was something that they both handled with accountability and grace, and really the only big thing that ever put her under public scrutiny in this way. We’d much rather see her enjoy life without that constant bickering, as she seems to be doing here. For more news and the latest updates on Jacquees and Deiondra Sanders, come back to HNHH.
Deion Sanders has boldly promised that Colorado will go from four wins to a top-12 team in the nation next season. “I want those problems, give me those problems. Leaving out a Florida State and a Georgia, that’s why I’m glad it’s increased next year, and guess who is going to be in?” Sanders said on The Dan LeBatard Show.
Next year, the CFP will expand from four teams to 12. The field will comprise the six highest-ranked conference champions plus the six highest-ranked non-champions. This means that to qualify, Colorado either needs to win the Big 12 (and maintain the Big 12’s status as a Power 5 division) or finish ranked in the top 12 at season’s end. That’s a monumental ask from a team that rarely looked competitive beyond their non-conference slate this season.
Coaches Doubt Colorado Will Turn Around Next Season
However, the odds are stacked against Sanders. Several college coaches are skeptical that things will improve for Deion Sanders and Colorado in 2024. Six coaches spoke anonymously to The Athletic. All six cast doubt on Sanders’ notion that the Buffaloes are headed in the right direction. Many of the coaches pointed to Sanders’ recruiting as a major sticking point. While Sanders did well recruiting at the skill positions, both the offensive and defensive lines were some of the worst in college football. Colorado gave up the second most sacks in the country with 56. Furthermore, as one coach noted to The Athletic, the transfer portal will contain around 30 “Power 5-caliber” offensive linemen. However, 65 Power 5 schools are vying for their commitment. Sanders did get a boost in this department, recently earning the commitment of the best OL recruit of 2024.
Furthermore, many coaches noted that Sanders has not been good to his coaches. He demoted offensive coordinator Sean Lewis after a 3-1 start because the Buffs were blown out by Oregon. Lewis has since left to become the head coach at San Diego State. The coaches who spoke with The Athletic predicted an exodus of coaching talent out of Colorado, with Sanders struggling to attract the game’s top assistants. For his part, Sanders has so far teased that former NFL star Warren Sapp will be joining his coaching staff next season. Sapp has no coaching experience at any level. However, he is the sort of headline-grabbing name Sanders has chased throughout his time at Colorado.
Throughout 2023, there have been many surprising celebrity breakups. The year seems to have a few more surprises in store. Deion Sanders and Tracy Edmonds have now also, unexpectedly called it quits on their relationship. As of this moment, it’s still a wonder why Sanders and Edmonds have called off their engagement after being together for over a decade. Nonetheless, as the story develops, here’s a view of the pair’s relationship timeline.
2012: Deion Sanders & Tracey Edmonds Meet
Deion Sanders and Tracey Edmonds, now both 56 years old, are accomplished veterans in their respective fields of sports and entertainment. Sanders, a former NFL player and head coach at the University Of Colorado Boulder, and Edmonds, a prominent executive producer in Hollywood. Their paths were unlikely to cross very often though but the overlap of sports and entertainment allowed them to frequent similar circles. In early 2012, Sanders attended the premiere of a movie Edmonds had produced. During the event, they got acquainted with each other, and that unlikely meeting was the catalyst of their eventual romance. Before the event ended that night, Sanders got a hold of Edmonds’ business card. Soon after, he reached out to her.
When Deion Sanders asked for Edmonds’ business card, it’s unclear if he did so already knowing he liked her. What is clear, however, is that he intended to have her work on a show he had an idea for. The two eventually met up to have breakfast and discuss Sanders’ ideas for the show that would end up becoming Deion’s Family Playbook. Subsequently, in 2021, Edmonds shared with PEOPLE, “I started off thinking I was just going to produce [the show]. But as I started working with Deion on the show, we grew quite fond of each other and ended up dating.”
2014 – 2015: Deion’s Family Playbook
The reality TV show aired on the Oprah Winfrey Network for three seasons from March 2014 to May 2015. While it was primarily focused on Deion Sanders, Tracey Edmonds also starred in the show. She had become an important part of Sanders’ life at the time, so it was only natural for her to appear in it. Audiences got to see glimpses of the couple’s relationship throughout the show’s three seasons. In addition to starring in Deion’s Family Playbook, Edmonds and Sanders are both credited as executive producers on the show.
2019: The Couple Get Engaged
Following the end of Deion’s Family Playbook, a couple of years went by, and the their relationship remained stable. They took things to the next level in February 2019 when they got engaged. In a now-deleted Instagram post, Edmonds’ caption read: “Happy Valentine’s Day Fam! Sending LOVE to MY LOVE/MY FIANCÉ @deionsanders! God is SO GOOD! We’re 8 years in, made it through the storms TOGETHER, and will be spending the rest of our lives TOGETHER! To all the couples out there… stay REAL with each other, LISTEN to each other, and MOST of all.. keep LOVE and GOD in your heart. When you do, you can make it through ANY storm! Spread LOVE and JOY on this day!”
Through the pandemic and afterward, their love for each other remained intact. However, the pair’s conflicting schedules made it so they didn’t get to spend much time together. For the most part, they didn’t seem to mind, and graciously dealt with the implications. About their frequent separation, Sanders told PEOPLE, “It’s not just a separation because you want to be separated, it’s a separation because you are active and you are really influencing lives.”
On Sunday, December 3, 2023, Tracey Edmonds announced that her engagement with Deion Sanders had been called off. Without a doubt, this is one of the most surprising breakups of the year as there were no signs of turmoil in the pair’s relationship. The announcement came out of left field, and audiences have been left wondering what exactly happened between the two.
Edmonds’s Instagram post contained a long caption that reads as follows: “To EVERYONE who has been there for us, supported us, and shown us love…We have mutually decided that it is best for us to move forward in life AS FRIENDS and have made this decision with love in our hearts, respect for each other, and appreciation for the time we’ve shared together. Please keep us in your prayers as we go through this transition. Thank you for being there for us ALL THESE YEARS! We love you and appreciate you SO MUCH!”
While Sanders did not make a post of his own, he responded in the comments of Edmonds’ post. “Love u Tracey and You’ve been a true blessing to me. I appreciate the times we’ve shared and they laughs we’ve had. You are an amazing woman and a tremendous mother. God bless u with every endeavor and every step u take. You are HER,” he wrote. There’s no bad blood, but it’s still a punch in the gut to onlookers.
Deion Sanders and his fiancee Tracey Edmonds have decided to breakup. Overall, the two had spent 12 years together and were engaged. However, it seems like the two decided it would be best to split up. Ultimately, it was not explained why they decided to end the relationship. However, Edmonds did take to Instagram where she thanked everyone for their support. Although she did note that she and Deion would remain friends and that this was the best course of action for both sides.
“To EVERYONE who has been there for us, supported us, and shown us love…We have mutually decided that it is best for us to move forward in life AS FRIENDS and have made this decision with love in our hearts, respect for each other, and appreciation for the time we’ve shared together,” she said. “Please keep us in your prayers as we go through this transition. Thank you for being there for us ALL THESE YEARS! We love you and appreciate you SO MUCH!”
Subsequently, Deion Sanders commented on the post by saying, “Love u Tracey and You’ve been a true blessing to me. I appreciate the times we’ve shared and they laughs we’ve had. You are an amazing woman and a tremendous mother. God bless u with every endeavor and every step u take. You are HER. Tracey-Mack !!!” It was a very kind message, especially given the circumstances. Overall, you can tell there is still a lot of love there.
It has been a difficult few weeks for Sanders. His Colorado Buffaloes ended the season in horrific fashion. Furthermore, a few players have decided to de-commit from the team. There is no telling what his future holds, however, he is certainly keeping his head up. Let us know your thoughts on this development, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the sports world. We will always keep you informed on all of your favorite athletes.

However, 65 Power 5 schools are vying for their commitment. Furthermore, the same coach noted that consistency was one of the most important qualities of an offensive line. Swapping out starters every year while also not developing recruits is not a recipe for success.
Furthermore, many coaches noted that Sanders has not been good to his coaches. He demoted offensive coordinator Sean Lewis after a 3-1 start because the Buffs were blown out by Oregon. Lewis has since left to become the head coach at San Diego State. However, he is the sort of headline-grabbing name Sanders has chased throughout his time at Colorado.
Next season, Colorado joins the Big 12. Alongside them comes Utah, Arizona, and Arizona State. All three schools either beat Colorado or lost by less than a score this season. Traditional Big 12 powerhouses Texas and Oklahoma will be gone. However, Colorado is by no means expected to suddenly become a title contender. Nine of the conference’s teams finished with a better record than Colorado this year. So did all three of the other Pac-12 teams also moving to the conference.
Shedeur Sanders is expected to return under center for the Buffs, but is that really the right move? Sanders missed the final game of the Buffs due to a back fracture. With no real improvement on the offensive line expected, Sanders can expect to take another pummelling behind the line next season. Not only will that affect his draft stock, but it could also impact his innate ability to play. However, the “Deion Doubters” will have to wait until commitment days, the portal, and the 2024 season itself to see if Sanders sinks or floats in Year 2.
Deion Sanders has claimed that he will be adding Hall of Famer Warren Sapp to his coaching staff. “I’m excited about Coach Sapp. He’s a dear friend that I love to life, and he’s going to be invaluable to what he brings to the table. As far as the recruits as well, they’re going to love him,” Sanders said during his weekly radio show. According to Sanders, Sapp has already spent some time around the team this season. “After practice, he was in the hot tub with the whole darn defensive line, and he was just going over stuff and it was unbelievable. There’s probably 4,000 pounds in the hot tub,” Sanders noted.
Sapp is an NFL legend. A first-round pick in 1995, Sapp played in the NFL until 2007 for the Buccaneers and Raiders. He was part of the formidable defensive line that helped the Buccs capture their first Super Bowl title. After he retired, his number was retired by the Buccs and later, Sapp was a first-ballot Hall of Famer in 2013.
Meanwhile, Sanders has been busy in the recruiting scene. Two-way athlete Kamron Mikell, ranked #143 in ESPN‘s Top 300, chose Colorado over Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee. Mikell becomes Sanders’ third commit from the Top 300, joining #70 Aaron Butler and #230 Brandon Davis-Swain. At 6’1 and 180 lbs, Mikell is expected to play a similar role to Travis Hunter has for the Buffs this season. However, while the early signing period is still a few weeks away, concerns are starting to form that Sanders’ 2024 recruiting class has just nine commits. While Sanders will likely add some on national signing day, he is also expected to heavily utilize the transfer portal once again.
Furthermore, the Mikell commitment is a bright spot in a dark time for Colorado. The Buffs went from 3-0 to 4-7 after a rough ride in the Pac-12’s final season. Their bowl eligibility window was finally shut after the Buffs were blown out last Friday by Washington State. The rapid descent back into the Colorado of old raised questions about Sanders’ effectiveness as a coach, as well as his recruiting style. After all, while the offense went largely unchanged, all but one of the defensive starters is a Sanders-acquired transfer. And the defense is where Colorado has struggled the most. The Buffs close out the season against Utah tomorrow.
Deion Sanders added to his 2024 recruiting class with another big commit on Thanksgiving. Meanwhile, down in Louisiana, Angel Reese is finding strength in Sanders’ words. Despite the mystery surrounding her absence from LSU, Reese has not been silent. On November 22, Reese posted a video to her TikTok account, showing her walking around her apartment in a fluffy pink bathrobe. The audio of the video is a speech by Sanders talking about how little he thinks about his haters. Furthermore, Reese posted a video of the same speech to her Instagram last weekend. It appears to be a direct response to the new wave of speculation and hate that she has received since the drama began to unfurl at LSU.
As mentioned, there appears to be no timetable for Reese’s return, not that she appears to be sweating her absence too much regardless. On Thanksgiving, Reese posted a video recreating the viral “Cheese Rice and Byron” Sidetalk clip. Through four games played, Reese is still averaging a double-double with 17 points and 10.3 rebounds. That puts her second on the team in both categories. Reese’s situation is a developing story and we’ll have any updates as and when they emerge.
A field goal as time expired doomed Colorado to a 34-31 loss to Arizona and their fourth loss in a row. For most of the game, the Buffs had gone toe-to-toe with the ranked Wildcats. However, both defenses had stepped up after Arizona tied the game at 31 early in the fourth quarter. After four punts (two per team), Colorado missed an opportunity to take the lead through a 44-yard field goal. That gave Arizona just under five minutes to methodically drive their way down the field and seal the game with a 24-yard kick of their own.
The result knocks the Buffs down to 4-6 on the season and 1-6 in conference play. Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders threw for 262 yards and two touchdowns. However, he also took three more sacks, taking his season total to 48. Furthermore, Arizona’s win comes amidst a period of uncertainty for the university. A $240 million deficit in the school’s budget has lead the administration to announce that everything from layoffs to terminating some varsity athletics programs will be considered as a remedy.
Furthermore, the loss almost entirely eliminates Colorado’s chances of playing in a bowl game next month. Bowl eligibility requires a 6-6 record, except in highly unusual circumstances. To achieve that this season, the Buffs would need back-to-back road wins against Washington State and ranked Utah over the next fortnight. While a win against Washington State is feasible, Colorado would likely need a miracle to overcome the Utes.
While Sanders has stated that the team cares about wins, not bowl games, even he would admit that the season has turned into a disaster. Just a few months ago, Colorado was the talk of the college football world, having gone 3-0 in its non-conference schedule. However, they are now once against one of the worst teams in the Pac-12. Furthermore, questions have been raised once more about Sanders’ recruiting style. Despite overhauling essentially the entire roster, Sanders objectively failed to bring in solid units for the O- and D-lines.
Deion Sanders said on his radio show this week that he “loves” his players fighting during practices. “We’ve had a great week of practice. We had a couple of fights, which I like. It’s a great thing. I always want to know who won because I keep records. I don’t break them up. Some coaches break them up. I don’t. Some guys fight hoping for the break up. No, we’re going to let you go. So, we did have a couple fights this week, and I love it. They’ve been getting after it. It’s almost like a rededication. It’s almost like a refocus. I love where we are. We’ve had great practices this week, offense, defense, as well as special teams,” Sanders said.
However, it’s not the first time that Sanders has expressed this opinion. Back in August, Sanders expressed his disappointment that several players did not get involved in a fight that broke out during practice. In a video posted to YouTube by his family’s media company, Sanders could be seen telling at least two players “If one fights, we all fight”.
Great practices aside, all is not well in Boulder. The Buffs dropped their third consecutive game last weekend, falling below .500 for the first time this season. It came as a late rally against Oregon State fell short and the Buffs were knocked off 26-19. It’s now been a full month since Colorado’s last win, a 27-24 victory over Arizona State. Furthermore, the bowl window is closing bit by bit. Colorado, who are 4-5, need two wins from their last three games to be bowl-eligible.
Unfortunately for the Buffs, they have a rough schedule to close out the Pac-12 season. Up next is #21 Arizona, who are coming off three consecutive victories against ranked opponents. Then there is Washington State, who are 4-5 after a white-hot start to the season. Finally, they end the season against #18 Utah, who are 7-2. While Sanders has said the team isn’t thinking about bowl season, it would be an incredibly disappointing end to a season that started off so well. The Wildcats are 10.5 favorites against the Buffs this weekend.
There’s been a lot of news surrounding Deion Sanders this year. The former football great turned to coaching and this year was hired to take over the Colorado Buffaloes. While results on the field have been mixed he’s had his moments and more importantly, has brought his signature over-the-top swagger to everything he does.
He’s also been a part of quite a few advertisements and promotional deals. Consequently, the most recent is now his involvement with Master P and Snoop Dogg’s cereal. Snoop created a special version of his Snoop Cereal celebrating the rapper called the “Prime Time Honey-O Snax.” P pulled up to Coach Prime personally to hand deliver the cereal. “Me and Snoop decided we putting you on the Snoop Cereal box. I’m just telling you, you got your own box now, coach,” he says to a surprised and amused Sanders. Check out the full clip below.
Additionally, this isn’t the only way that Snoop Dogg and Master P have been linked recently. Master P claimed that he once visited Suge Knight while he was in jail and offered him $2 million in exchange for Snoop signing to No Limit Records. But Suge Knight is refuting the claim in an episode of his new podcast. ” I never would have took no sh*t like that for Snoop. I got a whole list if anybody ever visits me. You got to be approved. That n*gga is not on none of it,” he used as his evidence for the claim being false.
Snoop Dogg has also continued dispensing advice to the newer generations of rappers. He had some wise words to share with Latto during a recent heart to heart telling her she had to “be a smarter businesswoman” during a conversation between the pair. What do you think of the gift Snoop Dogg and Master P gave to Deion Sanders? Let us know in the comment section below.
