Kyrie Irving Opens Up On Future Plans

Kyrie Irving’s time in Dallas has been less than a dream come true. The Mavericks’ point guard has had a career year in points per game, at 27. However, the Mavericks have not been able to click as an overall team. The Mavericks will miss the post-season this year. Which has been incredibly shocking to everyone around the league. With so much turmoil around the franchise, players have already been discussing their future. Last night, Irving spoke about his future with the organization.

When speaking with the media after last night’s loss to the Hawks, Irving was completely transparent in discussing his future. “I’ll set my plans once I sign with a potential shoe brand. That’s usually how it goes in my scheduling from June to August — usually planning an Asia trip or China trip specifically. Once I sign with a shoe brand, I’ll start wrapping around in kind of this international world tour to introduce myself as a new brand signee or signature athlete.”

Kyrie Irving Seeking New Shoe Deal

Irving seeking a new sneaker deal is no secret. After a controversial stance toward an antisemitic film, Irving’s deal with Nike was terminated. Since the incident, Irving has made steps in learning more about the Jewish culture and is open to challenging himself on learning about other cultures. Irving doesn’t plan on making any decision on his playing future until he has a new sneaker deal locked in. As for said sneaker deal, no reports have been released on any brands speaking with Irving at this time.

However, it seems Irving seems certain that a new shoe deal is inevitable. Irving is one of the biggest stars in the league. So, assuming a new sneaker deal is on the way isn’t too far-fetched. It looks as if Dallas will have to wait on Irving’s playing plans. Do you believe Irving will return to Dallas? If not, where is the perfect landing spot for the All-Star point guard? Mavericks Considering Sitting Luka Doncic & Kyrie Irving

The Dallas Mavericks have had an abysmal 2022-23 campaign. After trading for Kyrie Irving, it seemed the team would be destined for a playoff spot. Unfortunately, now, the team will be watching for home. With the chances of making the playoffs nearly zero, the team is reportedly set to make a decision. Shams Charania is reporting the Mavericks could be sitting Luka and Kyrie for the rest of the season. A huge decision that sums up the team’s entire season.

The Mavericks seemed to never find the right combination after the arrival of Irving. Scoring hasn’t been the issue with this team. However, the defensive side of the ball has been downright horrific. Both Irving and Doncic have shared their frustrations recently. With Irving speaking on the team’s problems last week. Now Doncic sharing his issues this week. The Mavericks season implosion is now reaching a breaking point. One that has the franchise thinking of the future.

The Dallas Mavericks Potentially Shutting Down Stars

The news of the Mavericks shutting down Luka and Kyrie isn’t all that shocking. However, it feels like blatant tanking. Even if this is the final week of the season. The Mavericks are in desperate need of a reset. Which begs many different questions. Who will be returning next season for the team? One would think the team is absolutely ready to move on from the Kyrie experiment. However, will Luka also demand his way out of Dallas? Mark Cuban and the organization will have their hands full this summer.

There will be a lot of moving parts in Dallas this off-season. The hope for the franchise has to be to become a desirable free-agent location. But just who do free agents want to see stay in Dallas? Would there be any way fans see Luka and Kyrie on the court together next season? Something tells me one, if not both, could be in a different uniform next season. Let us know your thoughts on what the Mavericks should do this off-season in the comment section below. To stay up to date with this story and the latest in sports, subscribe to HNHH.

Luka Doncic Gets Honest About Mavs Struggles Since Kyrie Trade

The Dallas Mavericks fan base expected the Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving pairing to shine. However, shining has been far from what they’ve seen. The Mavericks are 1-4 in their last five games. Dropping a shootout to the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday, 132-130. The offense doesn’t seem to be the issue with this team. Now, stopping the other team looks to be the Achilles heel. In their last five games, the Mavericks have allowed 110 points or more. That number isn’t a recipe for success for any team.

The frustration is visible on the court and is being shared off the court too. Doncic has shared his frustrations with the media over the last month. As well as, Irving being vocal about what’s going wrong in Dallas. It’s no secret that Irving isn’t afraid to share his feelings. Irving has found himself in media cycles over the past year for more than just basketball. Many believed the Mavericks were taking a significant risk in bringing in the former NBA champion. A chance that Mark Cuban felt didn’t outweigh the reward. Now Dallas finds itself with an All-Star cast but no playoff appearance to show for it. How did they get here?

Luka Doncic Claims Defensive Struggles Are Costing Mavericks

The answer is easy to find. However, just because the answer is easy doesn’t mean it is fixable. “It’s every time the same problem,” Doncic stated. “The offense is fine. But if we give up 130 points in four quarters, that’s hard to win.” The defensive struggles of this team will not be fixed overnight. The organization is coming to the realization that this season is a failure. The biggest issue may not be the combo of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. The issues could come from the other three positions. Many forget that just because a team has an amazing duo, there are still three other players on the floor. Dwight Powell, Reggie Bullock, and Tim Hardaway Jr. also shoulder some blame.

The 2022-23 season has been a failure. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean burning this down and starting from scratch. Kyrie and Luka can still be a successful backcourt leading the Mavericks to the playoffs next season. While the team can look to the future, everyone knows that some change is inevitable. How can the Mavericks bolster their roster for the 2023-24 season? Can the Mavericks keep Luka and Kyrie together? Will Dallas be an enticing destination for free agents this summer? Let us know your thoughts on the Mavericks in the comment section below. For the latest NBA news, stay locked in with HNHH.

Jay Williams Rips The Mavericks For Their Recent Struggles

The Dallas Mavericks have been a hot-button issue this week, and for good reason. A team that is as talented as them shouldn’t be on the cusp of missing the playoffs. The Mavericks are currently the eleventh seed in the West, which would have them just missing the playoffs. Given the moves they’ve made, missing the playoffs would be an all-systems failure for the organization. On ESPN’s First Take, Jay Williams offered insight into the failing Mavericks. Williams doesn’t think that Doncic and Irving should take all the blame. Jay believes the head coach could be to blame.

Jason Kidd is the head coach of the Dallas Mavericks. Kidd is in his second year as head coach of the Mavericks and may start feeling the pressure. In his first season in Dallas, Kidd went 52-30. A massive upgrade from the team’s current 37-40 record. When the ship begins sinking like this, finger-pointing ultimately begins. At the same time, it’s not just one person’s fault. Jay Williams’ insight on how Kidd uses his stars could be an issue with the failing team.

Jay Williams Speaks

Williams didn’t hold back on his feelings about Kidd’s performance as head coach. “There is a major concern that I have about Jason Kidd as a coach holding [Kyrie and Luka] accountable. In the last eight minutes of the game, Kyrie Irving and Luka Dončić … took a combined five shots. … Last night was unacceptable,” Williams stated. When breaking down the stats, it is strange to see the team not capitalize on the backcourt duo. Someone has to draw up the plays for Luka and Kyrie. That falls on Kidd.

The Mavericks’ playoff chances are fleeing by the day. Morale looks to be the lowest it has been all season in Dallas. Is there enough time for this team to sneak into the playoffs? Will Dallas look to make a change at head coach at the end of the season? Please give us your opinions on how the situation in Dallas can be fixed. Kyrie Irving Has Words With Sixers Fan: Watch

Kyrie Irving’s tenure in Dallas has been relatively quiet. That is until recent events. With the team on the outside looking in on the playoffs, Irving has vented his frustrations. The team isn’t exactly where they thought it would be. Not seeing success on the scoreboard is starting to leak over to other aspects. That includes having a short temper. For one Philadelphia 76ers fan, they met the wrath of a frustrated Kyrie Irving.

Fans have long been going a little too far with the players on the floor. There’s a way to have fun at a game as a fan. However, there’s also a way to go too far as a fan. In recent years, we have seen more player and fan interactions. Most of those interactions have not been friendly. On Wednesday night, the Mavericks were in a battle with the Sixers. That is when Irving and a Sixers fan got into a heated debate on the court.

Kyrie Irving Voices Frustrations With Sixers Fan

Frustrations are at an all-time high in Dallas. The incident in Philadelphia on Wednesday is another indicator of those frustrations. Luckily the referee stood between Irving and the fan. Eliminating any chance of this situation growing into something ugly. The Mavericks dropped the game to the Sixers 116-108. There has been no report on what the fan may have said to Irving. Which is causing speculation to run on what caused the heated exchange.

The Mavericks are not where they wanted to be on the season. The loss to the Sixers on Wednesday was more salt in the wound. Kyrie’s patience looked to be wearing thin far too early in the game. What could have been said to cause Irving to go after the fan? Is it time for the league to start policing fans more often? Irving has been no strange to be outspoken in the past. This situation stokes the flames of Irving’s stigma around the league. Let us know what you think might have been said in the comments below. Kyrie Irving Speaks On Mavericks Struggles

Kyrie Irving’s addition to the Dallas Mavericks had many expecting the team to be a deadly force. With Luka Doncic, the addition of Irving made a formidable backcourt. Now the team is fighting for their playoff lives. The Mavericks sit one spot out of the Play-In Tournament and hold a 37-40 record. Not the record anyone inside the organization had planned since Irving joined the team. Luka has already expressed his frustrations with how the season is turning out. Now Kyrie has voiced his concerns with the team’s current play.

It’s hard to see a team with so much talent miss the playoffs. The Western Conference is stacked with talent. However, there’s no excuse for the Mavericks to miss the playoffs. The Mavericks have dropped five of their last six. Including two to a lowly Charlotte Hornets squad. So what exactly could the issue be? For Irving, he believes the trade during mid-season is having an effect. Irving mentions that the frustrations are felt inside the locker room.

Kyrie Irving Admits Trade Is Playing Factor In Recent Struggles

The Mavericks guard mentioned that newness has been a huge factor for him. Just learning everything that goes on within the organization has taken time. Yes, that could be hard to learn. However, Irving isn’t the first star to be traded in the season. His words seem to say he is happy, even if he preferred to be in Brooklyn. The Kyrie Irving saga has been a roller coaster of emotion. Nonetheless, Irving has stayed relatively quiet since joining the Mavericks. As he mentioned, the only issue since arriving in Dallas has been the performance on the court.

One might wonder how Mark Cuban feels about all this. Not making the playoffs with this roster is an absolute failure. If the Mavericks miss the playoffs, what will this roster look like next year? Will Irving still be in Dallas? Will Luka be looking for a way out? Luka’s frustrations are visible when watching this team on a nightly basis. Many questions will need to be answered. Sound off in the comments section below. For more news on Kyrie and the Mavericks, stay with us at HNHH.

Kyrie Irving’s Rumored Plans For The Offseason Revealed

Kyrie Irving is one of the best point guards in the entire NBA. Although some people don’t find his antics to be worth it, there is no doubt that a lot of teams could use him. The Dallas Mavericks certainly thought so as they traded for the former Nets star. Overall, Kyrie has only played a handful of games with the Mavericks, leading to a record of 2-3. He and Luka Doncic have a lot of work to do, although they could certainly cause some damage in the postseason.

This is a very interesting experiment for the Dallas Mavericks. Kyrie is going to be a free agent in the summer, which means he can go anywhere he wants. Overall, this means that Irving could simply be a rental for the Mavericks. Aside from Luka, who they drafted, the team has not been good at attracting other superstars. That being said, there has been speculation that Irving would walk for a team like the Lakers. However, according to Bleacher Report’s Eric Pincus, it seems like executives around the league believe Kyrie will stay put.

Kyrie Has A Choice

“Kyrie will be on his best behavior until he gets paid; after is a different story,” one higher-up said. “Unless he and Luka actively despise each other, I don’t see Dallas letting him go.” This was subsequently followed by the words of another executive who is thinking the exact same way. “Kyrie’s goal in pushing out of Brooklyn was to get his rights with a team willing to pay him,” they explained. “Dallas is where he’ll want to be.”

This is definitely an interesting scenario. It seemed like Kyrie and the Lakers were a sure thing. Now, however, Irving could experience some stability in Dallas. That said, it is hard to imagine him and Luka co-existing for more than just a postseason. Only time will tell whether or not we are wrong. Let us know where you want to see Kyrie play, down in the comments below.

Kyrie Irving & Luka Doncic Secure First Win Together

When Kyrie Irving was traded to the Dallas Mavericks just a few weeks ago, fans were curious to see how that would work out. Overall, Irving is someone who has had some issues when it comes to gelling with his teammates. However, he is now playing with Luka Doncic, who some feel is an MVP candidate. One would have to assume that these two would become a dynamic duo. Sure, Luka might be ball dominant, but he has never truly had a superstar teammate. Now that he has that, Mavericks fans should be very excited about a potential postseason run.

Unfortunately, their first two games together weren’t amazing. While Luka and Kyrie had solid individual performances, the team lost two games in a row. Subsequently, the All-Star break came which allowed both players to get some time off. Furthermore, it gave them some time to hang out off of the court. As it turns out, this worked out perfectly for them as on Thursday night, they secured their first win together.

Kyrie & Luka Pop Off

While playing against the lowly San Antonio Spurs, Luka and Kyrie were able to combine for 51 points. Luka finished with 28 while Kyrie had 23. Overall, it was a blowout win for the Mavericks who were playing against a Spurs team that has lost 15 in a row. Throughout the game, Kyrie and Luka showcased some great chemistry, and it is clear that they are going to dominate for the rest of the year. Whether or not they can make a deep playoff run still remains to be seen. After all, the West is a deep conference right now, and it would be a very tough road to the NBA Finals.

This is a bit of an experiment for the Mavericks. Kyrie is going to become a free agent this summer, and he could choose to leave the franchise entirely. If that is the case, then the Mavs have just one shot to make this work. Overall, this trade was an indication that Dallas is going all in. Let us know whether or not you think it will pay off, in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the sports world.

Colin Cowherd Floats Anthony Davis To Dallas Rumor

Colin Cowherd is one of the most entertaining people on sports talk television. Overall, this is due to the fact that he is always changing his mind based on what the correct position is. For instance, he will make a prediction that is usually wrong. Subsequently, he will come into his show the next day and act as if he always knew the correct outcome was going to happen. It’s pretty funny to watch him do this, and fans have taken note of his various hot takes.

Typically, Cowherd will also provide fans with some wild rumors that a little birdie told him. These rumors can be quite outlandish, although sometimes, they feel like they hold some weight. On the most recent edition of his show, Cowherd felt the need to speculate on the relationship between LeBron James and Anthony Davis. There has been this sense that AD is upset with LeBron, although AD himself noted that is not the case. However, this did not stop Cowherd from delivering some rumors pertaining to the Lakers’ personnel.

Colin Cowherd Speculates

In the clip above, Cowherd claims that we could see a scenario in which the Lakers traded Anthony Davis to the Dallas Mavericks. This could include a sign and trade for Kyrie Irving come the summer once Kyrie becomes a free agent. “LeBron and his camp have been frustrated by how many minutes he has to play,” Cowherd claimed. “They cant depend on Anthony Davis. They are also mad that Darvin Ham is not keeping the pressure on Anthony Davis.” These are definitely some interesting comments, although most Lakers fans are convinced this will not happen. After all, this is coming from Cowherd of all people.

The Lakers do remain in a precarious position. They need to make the playoffs in order to justify some of the moves they have made over the past year or so. If they cannot get that done, then this team is truly in shambles despite LeBron and AD’s presence on the team. Let us know what you think the Lakers are going to do, in the comments down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the sports world.

Kyrie Irving Reveals His True Feelings Towards The Nets

Kyrie Irving is one of the best point guards in the entire NBA. However, showing up to play basketball has been a bit of an issue for him. During his time with the Brooklyn Nets, he was typically absent for long stretches. Overall, the Nets became upset with Irving, and eventually, the entire relationship was fractured. If you are a fan of Kyrie’s, it was probably tough to watch, and for Nets fans, it’s been even worse. Consequently, Irving asked the team for a trade, and the Nets capitulated.

Kyrie is now a member of the Dallas Mavericks. This was a gutsy trade by the Mavericks as it could end up being a disaster. Although, Mark Cuban seems very excited about this new opportunity. He understands that Kyrie can help Luka Doncic win games, and it will be fun to watch them in action. Moreover, Kyrie was in Dallas today as he completed his first practice with the team. Additionally, he also spoke to the media for the very first time.

Kyrie Speaks

During his talks with the media, Irving made some very interesting comments. In fact, he even spoke about his time in Brooklyn and how the franchise made him feel disrespected. For Irving, the team didn’t keep it about basketball, and he took issue with that. “There were times throughout this process when I was in Brooklyn where I felt disrespected,” Kyrie said. “I work extremely hard at what I do but no one talks about my work ethic. Everyone talks about what I’m doing off the floor.” Subsequently, Kyrie was asked about LeBron’s desire to have him on the Lakers. As one can imagine, Irving was quite flattered.

Moving forward, Irving will need to be on his best behavior with the Mavericks, If he isn’t, then there could be some serious issues for him in the Summer when he seeks a long-term deal. Overall, he can’t afford to mess this up. If he does, he may never get another max contract again. Stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest news and updates from around the National Basketball Association.
