DJ Akademiks Theorizes Jada Pinkett Smith Has CTE

DJ Akademiks says he believes that Jada Pinkett Smith may have CTE after her latest comments on 2Pac and her marriage to Will Smith. Akademiks discussed Jada and Will’s relationship during a recent livestream that he’s since shared on Instagram. Jada had described 2Pac as her true “soulmate” during an interview with Rolling Out while promoting her new book, Worthy. 

“You gotta check Jada Pinkett brain for CTE too,” Akademiks began. “The way she’s talking about 2Pac, she must be into some necrophilia shit. If you don’t know what that is, that’s a sick infatuation with possibly having sex with a goddamn dead person. She’s doing too much here.”

Despite describing 2Pac as her “soulmate,” Jada clarified that she didn’t view him in a romantic light. “If there is such a thing as past lives, I definitely think ‘Pac and I have traveled a few together. You know, in various forms,” Jada said at the time. “It was like God made us that way, It was like, look, I’m going to put y’all together, right? Y’all are going to be a dynamic duo. But I’m going to tell you right now, I’m going to make it so y’all are not going to be able to get together ’cause that just wasn’t the purpose.” Check out Akademiks’ reaction to the comments below.

Chandler Jones Proposes Podcast With Antonio Brown

Chandler Jones has suggested the idea of doing a podcast with Antonio Brown. “We gotta sit down and have a Kumbaya…call it CTE podcast! I love you too!” Jones wrote on X after AB sent some love his way. This comes after Jones announced that he was taking a social media break to “hang with strippers” and that fans shouldn’t “check me on my well being, they [the strippers] got me.”

Earlier today, Jones did a dawn livestream out in the Nevada desert. The Raiders defensive star was behaving erratically. He shone a powerful flashlight directly into the camera. Furthermore, he announced that Aaron Hernandez didn’t kill himself in jail before bursting into tears. Jones remains away from the Las Vegas Raiders and was recently added to their non-football injury reserve list.

AB’s CTE Finally Explained?

Could this be an explanation for AB’s bizarre CTE tweets? Earlier this month, Brown was seen partying with members of the Theta Chi fraternity at Florida State, including performing some of his music with them. The video of that link-up, posted by Brown himself, included the cryptic phrase “Catch the Energy”, which Brown has been utilizing as of late. However, subsequent footage from that party shows Brown engaging in some more typical Antonio Brown behavior. In one video uploaded by a party attendee, a mostly naked Brown is seen throwing his pants to a student. The student then reveals that because of this, he is now in possession of not only Brown’s pants but also his phone. The short video shows the student scrolling through Brown’s notifications and trying a few passcodes on his lock screen. It’s unclear if Brown later retook possession of his phone. Brown himself later tweeted “Where my 📱 @.”

The CTE/Catch The Energy comments came from previously videos from Brown. First he showed a woman with a split tongue licking his finger with the caption “I got CTE” before stating in a later post that he meant “Catch The Energy”, a phrase that he had seemingly made up. Now it appears that Jones has also caught the energy, whatever that means. Furthermore, Jones has now once again promised to “expose” Raiders owner Mark Davis. Previously, Jones seemingly accused Davis of covering for someone who molested Jones’ goddaughter.

Antonio Brown “Clarifies” What He Meant By Having “CTE”

Earlier this week, disgraced NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown appeared to claim that he had CTE (Chronic traumatic encephalopathy). Commonly found in contact sports athletes, CTE is a degenerative neurological disease caused by repetitive head trauma. However, Brown has now clarified what he meant by CTE. In a tweet late on September 6, Brown said “C.atch T.he E.nergy CTE!!!!” whatever that means. Brown followed up the post with a video in which he appeared to be partying with members of the Theta Chi chapter at Florida State. The group rapped along to one of Brown’s songs. “CTE 👈🏾👉🏾👈🏾👉🏾👈🏾👉🏾👈🏾👉🏾👈🏾👉🏾👈🏾 #CacththeEnergy #Tallahassee,” he captioned the video. Yes, he spelled “Catch” wrong.

A lot of people in the comments were indeed wondering what “Catch the energy” is, with many people concluding that Brown was likely about to start selling something. Meanwhile, others took this as evidence that Brown was suffering from the actual CTE. In short, this feels like typical AB antics, and something (or nothing) will come out of it. Dark Stories About Brown’s Arena League Saga Emerge

However, not all of the recent AB headlines have been as innocuous as “catch the energy”. You may remember that earlier this year, Brown became involved with the defending champions of the Arena Football League, the Albany Empire. Within a few months, Brown had bankrupted the team and forced the league to dissolve the franchise. Well, recent reports have shed an even darker light on that already horrific story.

According to wide receiver Darius Prince, the players confronted Brown after he ordered a tribute to a former player be deleted from social media. After things got heated, Brown reportedly asked his assistant to go get a firearm from Brown’s car. “After he said that, things did calm down, and we had a conversation. But the fact is that he threatened us by telling his assistant to grab his AR.”

Freddie Gibbs Takes Accountability For Jeezy Beef On “$$$”

It sounds like Freddie Gibbs is ready to bury the hatchet in his long-standing feud with Jeezy.

On his latest album, $$$, Freddie Gibbs extended the olive branch to Jeezy on “Rabbit Vision,” where he admitted to being immature. In addition, Gibbs also expressed his appreciation for the lessons he learned from Jeezy, both directly and indirectly.

The Gary, IN rapper signed a deal with CTE nearly a decade ago before parting ways with the label. Gibbs and Jeezy parted ways. Unfortunately, the split was messy. The “Dark Hearted” rapper took shots at Jeezy on numerous occasions in the past including on Pinata with Madlib. The second verse of “Real” dives into their troubles while Gibbs simultaneously called out Jeezy for his issues with Rick Ross, Gucci Mane, and alleged that he was being extorted by BMF.

No response from Jeezy on Freddie Gibbs’ recent comments on their relationship but it seems like the two could be on a path towards reconciliation in the near future.
