Tyla “Heartbroken” As She Cancels Tour Over Health Concerns

South African songstress Tyla was previously expected to have a major year. The hitmaker shared plans for her first headlining world tour back in December. Sadly, however, she’s been forced to put the tour on hold while she resolves some ongoing health issues. The performer took to Instagram earlier today to announce the cancellation, sharing a lengthy message with her supporters.

“All of you know that this moment you have all helped me transform into a reality, has been a life-long dream,” her message begins. “I am so grateful and humbled by this past year and the way it’s changed my life I can never thank you guys enough for all your loving support, all the joy, the laughter, and the wins! As much as this is something I would rather have dealt with privately Its important that I share what I have to share with you today.”

Tyla & Her Team “Working Diligently” On Her Return

“For the past year I’ve been silently suffering with an injury that has tragically worsened. I’ve seen doctors and specialists with high hopes but the pain has only become more agonizing as has the severity of the situation,” Tyla revealed. “I am absolutely heartbroken to have to say this but as of right now I won’t be able to proceed with the tour.” Fans are certainly disappointed and concerned for the breakout star. Luckily, she promises that she and her team are “working diligently” on a “spectacular” return.

This latest development means Tyla will miss over 20 scheduled shows across North America, and 9 in Europe and UK. She’s also no longer perform at Coachella in April. What do you think of Tyla canceling her first headlining world tour? Are you disappointed that she’ll miss Coachella? What about her private health concerns? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Coachella And OpenSea Are Launching Coachella Keepsakes NFTs For Exclusive Festival Experiences And Products

The ticket industry has come a long way from flashing a piece of paper to get into an event. Case in point: Coachella’s new partnership with leading NFT marketplace OpenSea. Today (March 5), the companies announced Coachella Keepsakes, a series of three NFT collections that serve as passes to “some of the festival’s most exclusive experiences and products,” per a press release.

The first of them is The VIP Pass + Oasis Lounge Keepsake, which launched today and will be available for purchase until April 1 (although only 1,000 will be made available). This asset will offer access to a 2024 VIP Festival Pass and the Oasis Lounge, a new offering described as “a serene space offering exclusive bar benefits with limited complimentary drinks, a shaded lounge, and more.”

The second collection, the Canvas Welcome Box Keepsake, launches March 25 and “will offer varying levels of utility, including unique merchandise, digital content, and access to the Rose Garden VIP area, among other benefits.” The final drop lands in mid-April and “will introduce an artist collaboration, promising yet another layer of exclusive benefits for Coachella attendees,” with more details to be unveiled later this month. More information about the NFT collections is available here.

Sam Schoonover, Innovation Lead for Coachella, says, “Our collaboration with OpenSea begins a new chapter in how we use NFTs to provide unique custom experiences for Coachella in real life and online. We’re moving towards a future where Coachella isn’t just an event you attend, but an experience you can own and shape based on the digital tokens in your possession. We’re enabling this future with OpenSea, a trusted and secure marketplace that helps us safely provide these new opportunities to fans.”

Devin Finzer, CEO of OpenSea, also says, “We are thrilled to embark on this journey with Coachella, a festival that has dominated the cultural zeitgeist for over two decades. Since our inception in 2017, we’ve been at the forefront of the NFT revolution, witnessing firsthand the expansion of digital ownership and its evolving utilities. Our partnership with Coachella represents a significant milestone, uniting the digital with the physical in ways that promise to enrich the festival experience and usher in a new paradigm in the live event and ticketing industry.”

Meek Mill Thinks That Music Festival Lineups Are “Getting Weaker”

Music Festival season is just around the corner. Rolling Loud LA takes place in mid March and Coachella follows just a few weeks later in April officially kicking off the stretch of the calendar where fans can see numerous major artists all in the same place. But some online have been expressing a lack of MAJOR moves from festivals this year. Coachella revealed its headliners are hitmaker Doja Cat, beloved rapper Tyler, The Creator, and indie pop darling Lana Del Rey. The festival also recruited a reunion of No Doubt, playing their first shows in almost a decade.

Following the announcement fans couldn’t help but think the lineup is just okay. In Coachella’s case, the festival is often home to some of the biggest stars in all of music and some of the most sought after live experiences around. In recent years Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Harry Styles, and Bad Bunny have headlined the festival at the height of their fame. Beloved critical darlings like LCD Soundsystem, Tame Impala, Radiohead, and Frank Ocean have also been tapped as headliners. It’s unclear if Coachella specifically inspired a recent Meek Mill tweet. But the rapper is taking aim at declining festival rosters regardless. Check out what he had to say below.

Meek Mill Talks Lackluster Festival Lineups

“These festival line ups getting weaker and weaker” Meek’s tweet about the situation reads. In the comments fans debate whether he’s talking about Coachella, Roots Picnic, or Made In America. Meek never followed up on the claim with any specifics though.

Meek Mill recently popped up for a feature on the new Fivio Foreign album Pain & Love 2. He appears on the track “Same 24” which currently sits as the second most streamed song on the record on Spotify with well over 2 million plays. What do you think of Meek Mill’s comments about music festivals? Do you agree that the quality of their lineups is declining? Let us know in the comment section below.

Will Coachella 2024 Add New Artists?

coachella

Coachella 2024 announced the festival lineup last month, with Lana Del Rey, Tyler The Creator, Doja Cat, and No Doubt set to headline in April. However, according to NME, the California festival has had trouble selling out tickets, which hasn’t been the case in previous years. This has been the festival’s slowest sales in nearly a decade, to be specific.

Because of this, there have been questions if Coachella will adjust the lineup at all to sell more tickets.

Here’s what to know if any new artists will join the Coachella lineup.

Will Coachella 2024 Add New Artists?

Currently, Coachella has not added any new performers to their lineup for 2024. That doesn’t mean that they won’t though. During the early years of the festival, as one example, they added the late Prince to the 2008 lineup — as they wanted to boost the view and perception. According to Reddit, that year’s lineup hadn’t been deemed as good, which explained the addition.

As some of the other commenters had noted though, it is very unlikely in 2024 — unless they did a surprise addition. One user pointed out that putting a larger artist into the lineup could break commitments to the other headliners.

So, right now, it is still up in the air.

Is Coachella 2024 Sold Out?

Coachella is quickly approaching, as the California festival is returning for two weekends in April. With Lana Del Rey, Tyler The Creator, Doja Cat, and No Doubt set to headline, along with a lot more thrilling acts, many music lovers might be wondering if they can still get tickets.

Shortly after the festival unveiled the 2024 lineup, they put out a presale for tickets — giving out a code to those who signed up.

Here’s what to know about Coachella’s current ticket availability.

Is Coachella 2024 Sold Out?

As of right now, no.

According to Coachella’s website, 3-day General Admission passes to either weekend are still available to purchase, and these start at $549 with fees. This also doesn’t include the GA with shuttle option, which would then start at $669, and is also still available.

VIP 3-day tickets still have remaining availability, and these start at $1,269 before fees, according to AXS.

It seems that the things that have sold out for right now are the camping options. Preferred car camping, tent camping, the Lake Eldorado Tent, and stays at the Lake Eldorado Lodge all have separate waitlists going right now. These all include a $20 deposit to start, with the remainder of the accommodation costs being charged if you are accepted.

For those looking to go, though, it definitely would be worth not waiting, as Coachella typically sells out.

Does Coachella 2024 Have An Age Limit?

After the usual months of speculation, Coachella has officially released its lineup for 2024. Headlined by Doja Cat, Lana Del Rey, and Tyler The Creator (with a special appearance by No Doubt), the two-weekend festival will also feature breakout acts like Peso Pluma, Blur, J Balvin, Lil Uzi Vert, Ice Spice, Jhené Aiko, and many, many more. Set for the weekends of April 12-14 and 19-21, Coachella 2024 figures to be yet another landmark yer for the long-running festival.

As Coachella is one of the most popular festivals in the world, it attracts the interest of a wide range of fans — some of whom might wonder whether they are too young to attend. After all, the fest also has a reputation for being a place where folks can imbibe all sorts of substances (unofficially, of course), and many of the acts on the bill certainly have a certain degree of risque content. So…

Does Coachella 2024 Have An Age Limit?

Fortunately for all those teens and pre-teens who love them some Doja and Ice Spice, Coachella does not have an age limit. From my own personal experience, I’ve definitely seen a few middle schoolers boogeying down at the fest (at Nile Rodgers’ set, weirdly enough. Credit the parents, I guess). There have even been a few babies (with those adorable massive headphones to protect their little ears). So, as long as everybody is being responsible (seriously, kids, if you insist on doing drugs, which I know some of you are going to do no matter what anyone says, DRINK WATER — more than you think you need), all ages are welcome.

How Much Are Tickets For Coachella 2024?

Get your pocketbooks ready. The Coachella line-up for the 2024 festival just dropped, and fans are not going to want to miss this. With an incredibly stacked line-up featuring Doja Cat, Lana Del Rey, Tyler The Creator, and No Doubt, anticipation for this year’s Coachella is high.

Tickets for Coachella are never cheap, but with less than three months to the festival — set to take place over the course of two weekends, April 12-14 and April 19-21, there will be opportunities for fans to plan ahead financially, notably with the 50/50 payment plans.

How much are tickets for Coachella 2024?

General admissions tickets go for $499 for tier one, $549 for tier two, and $599 for tier three for both weekend one and two. General admissions tickets that come bundled with a shuttle go for $619 for tier one, $669 for tier two, and $719 for tier three.

VIP packages range from $1,069 to $1,269, and camping and hotel packages will range anywhere from $149 to $11,000. Fans can see a price guide for packages here.

These tickets will certainly burn a hole in fans’ pockets, however, they can sign up for a 50/50 payment plan, which will allow them to pay half the price at the time of the presale, and half at a later date.

Fans can register for the pre-sale now at the official Coachella website. The pre-sale will take place on January 19 at 11 a.m. PST.

Coachella 2024 Lineup Has Arrived: Doja, Tyler The Creator, Ice Spice, Yachty, Uzi & More

It may be the middle of January, but Coachella is getting ready for 2024’s festival season. Each year, tens of thousands of people travel to the deserts of Indio, California, to enjoy one of the biggest music concerts in America. Although the highlights are the dozens of artists taking to various stages over two weekends, the Coachella experience makes it unforgettable, with activities including carnival rides and immersive art features.

This year, Coachella 2024 will take place April 12-14 and April 19-21. This year’s headliners will surely bring crowds, as Lana Del Rey will end each Friday evening, starting each weekend off with a bang. Also on the roster those days is a plethora of must-see talent (if you haven’t already), including Lil Uzi Vert, Deftones, Peso Pluma, Skepta, Tyla, Tinashe, ATEEZ, and more.

Additionally, on those Saturdays, we find Tyler, The Creator as a headliner, and we can already anticipate the crowd. Joining the Grammy-winning Call Me If You Get Lost hitmaker that day are Ice Spice, Grimes, Blxst, Kevin Abstract, Sublime, and Spinall, among several others. While Saturday’s lineup may be the icing on Friday’s cake, Sunday’s list gives both days a run for their money.

Headlining the final nights of each weekend is Doja Cat, who can’t seem to stop her star from climbing to further heights. Fresh off a Jay-Z-praised “Jeezu” verse from The Book of Clarence‘s soundtrack, Doja is ready to show the world once again why her name hasn’t left the charts—or nominations lists—since she burst onto the music scene. Meanwhile, Doja will be joined on Sunday by J Balvin, Lil Yachty, Jhené Aiko, NAV, Victoria Monét, and more. And to show that they can outdo themselves, Coachella also announced that No Doubt would be reuniting at this year’s event.

Further, if you’re looking to snag tickets to Coachella 2024, you shouldn’t wait. Presale tickets arrive on January 19 at 11:00 a.m., but those looking to purchase are warned that “this is a presale and does not guarantee pass type, packages, or camping,” reads a press release. YouTube will once again be Coachella’s exclusive livestream partner, so those unable to attend in person don’t have to miss out on all of the action.
