Recently, Ashanti surprised the hip hop mainstay with a luxurious birthday present, which managed to invoke a pretty emotional reaction. The artist got him a customized 1962 Impala convertible, which is believed to have cost her roughly $100K.

In a clip from the sweet moment, Nelly pulls Ashanti in for a big hug, revealing that he’s wanted a car like that since he was a kid. Fireworks are seen going off in the background as the hitmaker investigates his new whip. Clearly, Ashanti’s quite the gift giver, and Nelly wasn’t disappointed in his birthday celebration. The pair have been spotted enjoying their rekindled romance quite a bit recently, even hitting the club over the weekend to bump some throwback love songs.

Ashanti Gifts Nelly A Blue Impala

In another clip of the lovebirds, Ashanti is seen performing her 2008 breakup song, “The Way That I Love You.” Reportedly, she wrote the track about Nelly, which might explain why he isn’t a huge fan. In the video, Nelly’s seen saying that he “hates” the song “so much.” Luckily, it didn’t deter Ashanti from giving the performance her all. Obviously, they’ve been through quite a lot together, and it can be painful to relive some of the less flattering moments from one’s past.

Other footage from the fun evening shows Ashanti singing along to Nelly’s track with Kelly Rowland, “Dilemma.” The two of them were all smiles, looking to have a blast on their night out. Fans note that both of the artists are glowing as of late, and think their love is to thank.

ASAP Rocky turned 35 earlier this week, and he went big with his celebration. The performer rented out an entire indoor go-karting facility, making the most of the milestone surrounded by friends and family. In a new clip from the event, Rocky is seen walking into the party while Rihanna trails just behind him. She fell back to let him have his moment, looking on and smiling as he was met with supportive cheers.

It looks like the newly-35-year-old hitmaker also got some pretty great gifts, as seen in another clip. The father of two is shown in the arcade area, accepting a pair of shimmering diamond “R” earrings. The fitting gift also pays homage to the names of his two children, RZA and Riot. It’s unclear whether or not the little ones joined them for their go-karting adventure.

ASAP Rocky Turns 35

This wasn’t the first birthday celebration ASAP Rocky has enjoyed this week, however. On Tuesday evening, he also joined Rihanna for a romantic date night in New York City. The duo dined at one of the city’s prominent Italian restaurants, Carbone. The rapper showed out, rocking some light-wash denim, which he paired with a tan plaid blazer. The star of the look were some pearl-covered hair clips he covered his head with.

Rihanna also stunned in her date night look, sporting a black tulle top which she complimented with a satin bomber jacket and some sleek leggings. She served attitude in paparazzi photos from the evening, tying her fit together with some black shades.

Omarion recently hopped on social media, sharing a few clips of he and his family enjoying a day at Disney World. He was joined by his ex, Apryl Jones, as well as their two children, Megaa and A’mei. Everyone appeared to be in good spirits based on the clips, and fans are thrilled to see the duo co-parenting in a healthy way. “Watch til the end to see how our day ended at Disney World,” he captioned the slideshow alongside a laughing emoji. “Don’t let anything stop you from having a great day.”

The family looks to be all smiles, as they ride a rollercoaster, enjoy some snacks, and pose for sweet photos. Things between the duo haven’t always been great, however, as Jones previously dated one of Omarion’s former B2K groupmates, Lil Fizz. They ended up breaking things off, and Jones has since turned her attention to Taye Diggs. Omarion looks to approve of the relationship, claiming earlier this year that he “seems like a cool dude.” In recent weeks, however, rumors have been swirling that the couple has called it quits.

Omarion And Apryl Jones Spend Time With Their Kids

A recent livestream she did with her 10-year-old son Megaa only worked to fuel the speculation. During the livestream, Jones pointed out how several people were asking where Diggs was. She claimed that he was working, but her son had other thoughts. “He ain’t working, he ain’t here,” he said. “We ain’t know specifically [if] he’s working or not. Did he text you? Show me the text!” Jones argued with her son, claiming that the two of them talk on a daily basis. “Mm mm,” he responded. “It’s only for y’all. She’s lying. She’s lying!”

Back in March, Omarion spoke on their co-parenting relationship, revealing that they were working towards improving it. “I will say we have been moving towards a better relationship at this particular point in time, for the kids,” he explained. “It’s all good, it was just something we went through. I think as long as respect is over-stood and appreciated within the scope of the blended family then I think you can virtually get through anything.”
