Diddy’s Former Artist Aubrey O’Day Showed Support For Cassie: ‘Been Trynna Tell Y’all For Years’

After it was reported earlier this week that “Me & U” singer Cassie had filed a lawsuit against producer and label owner Sean “Diddy” Combs alleging abuse and sexual assault, one of Diddy’s former Bad Boy artists has spoken up in support of her.

Aubrey O’Day, formerly of the girl group Danity Kane, posted on her Instagram Story, “Been trynna tell y’all for years. Prayers up for this queen.”

O’Day has gone on record several times about Diddy’s handling of the group and its formation on the show Making The Band, telling Vulture in 2019, “Puff is a very difficult person to work with. Everything had to be perfect. I remember times where he looked at my toenails and was like, ‘What is your third toenail doing? Go get that sh*t fixed before you walk into a room.’ Or we would be in rehearsals performing an hour-and-a-half set over and over and he would walk in for five minutes with a camera and say, ‘Aubrey, why are you sweating? You look like a wet dog. You’re the hot one, so do you think anyone wants to see that?’ … I experienced everything from race [remarks] to sexism and a lot of it was scary.”

Although O’Day expressed hope that the music mogul had grown from his time as her mentor, she also noted that the problems with sexism in the music industry go way beyond Diddy. More recently, she also said that Diddy’s recently relinquishing former artists’ publishing came with strings attached — namely, that those artists would have to sign NDAs promising to “never disparage Puff, Bad Boy, Janice Combs, Justin Combs Music, EMI, or Sony ever in public.”

Meanwhile, Diddy is currently under investigation by the NYPD, although it’s unclear whether it’s connected to the lawsuit.

NYPD Reportedly Investigating Diddy In Connection With Sexual Assault Allegations

In a shocking turn of events, Sean “Diddy” Combs finds himself at the center of a criminal investigation by the New York Police Department (NYPD). Reports indicate that the case involves allegations of sexual assault. It is unclear who made the criminal complaint. This revelation follows the recent lawsuit filed by singer Cassie, whose legal name is Cassandra Ventura, against the renowned producer and rapper. The lawsuit alleges rape, physical abuse, and even human trafficking. Needless to say that this suit came to the surprise of many. However, Cassie has already been receiving tons of support and backings from her industry peers.

Moreover, according to law enforcement sources cited by TMZ, there is an ongoing investigation under the name “Sean Combs” within the NYPD. The case is marked as active, but its details have been classified as “locked,” indicating a high level of sensitivity with restricted access. Cassie’s claims, ranging from rape to assault/battery and human trafficking, have undoubtedly intensified the gravity of the situation.

Furthermore, Cassie’s lawsuit alleges disturbing incidents, including accusations that Diddy forced her into sexual encounters with male prostitutes across state lines. Diddy’s legal team has refuted these claims, dismissing them as baseless. The lawyer contends that many of Cassie’s allegations are barred from criminal prosecution due to statute of limitations constraints. However, the potential criminal pursuit of her rape claim in California remains uncertain.

Diddy, a prominent figure in the music and entertainment industry, has consistently denied all allegations made by Cassie. He has gone so far as to accuse her of attempting to extort a staggering $30 million from him. The legal battle between Diddy and Cassie is now expected to unfold in a contentious environment, with the NYPD’s involvement investigating a “Sean Combs” adding a layer of complexity to the already high-profile case. Diddy’s reputation, built over years of success and influence, now faces scrutiny in the wake of these serious allegations. And the unfolding developments are sure to captivate the attention of fans and observers alike. Stay tuned to HNHH for updates.

Following news of Cassandra Ventura, also known as singer Cassie, filing a lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs, alleging rape and physical abuse, new developments have surfaced surrounding the producer and rapper. According to TMZ, Diddy is currently the subject of a secret NYPD investigation.

It is unclear if this alleged investigation is in relation to Cassie, however, the publication reports that there is strong evidence that the complaint leading to the investigation involves sexual assault.

According to TMZ, the publication was informed by law enforcement that there is an open case at NYPD with the name, “Sean Combs,” and said case is an active case. However, the case file is reportedly locked, “essentially meaning it’s a sensitive case where access is restricted.”

NYPD issued a statement to TMZ, saying, “The NYPD takes sexual assault and rape cases extremely seriously, and urges anyone who has been a victim to file a police report so we can perform a comprehensive investigation, and offer support and services to survivors.”

Based on the statement, TMZ gathers that authorities may be speaking with more than one alleged victim.

The publication has also looked into law enforcement in other jurisdictions, including Miami, Beverly Hills, and Los Angeles, however, have found that no police report has been filed pertaining to Cassie or Diddy, and no other investigations have been launched.

Surviving Diddy: Cassie’s Abuse Allegations Against Diddy Are Latest In Flood of Shocking Accusations

Cassie Ventura, the singer and former girlfriend of business mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, has recently filed a $30 million lawsuit against him, accusing him of sexual and repeated physical abuse throughout their relationship. The explosive allegations made by Cassie have opened the floodgates for Diddy’s supposed downfall, on the heels of other prominent figures like Aubrey O’Day and Keefe D coming forward with their own damning claims.

Surviving Diddy: Cassie Reveals Her Torture

In court documents, Cassie reveals horrifying details of the abuse she endured for years.  In court reports Cassie, whose legal name is Cassie Ventura, states,  “These beatings were witnessed by Mr. Combs’ staff and employees of Bad Boy Entertainment and Mr. Combs’s related businesses, but no one dared to speak up against their frightening and ferocious boss.”

Furthermore, the court files contain a shocking revelation of how Diddy threatened rapper Kid Cudi, who dated Cassie briefly in 2011.  Diddy told Ventura that he was going to blow up Kid Cudi’s car, and that “he wanted to ensure that Kid Cudi was home with his friends when it happened.” Around that time, Kid Cudi’s car allegedly exploded in his driveway.

Preceding other details in the court files, the R&B singer endured sexual abuse and physical abuse, where Combs often “punched, beat, kicked, and stomped,” on Cassie Ventura. Court documents state that Cassie is a victim of human trafficking, where she was forced to engage in sexual acts with male sex workers, while the encounters were filmed. The documents also reveal that she was introduced to a “lifestyle of excessive alcohol and substance abuse.”

Aubrey O’Day Tried To Warn Others

Aubrey O’Day, a former member of Bad Boy Records girl group Danity Kane, attests to Diddy’s history of abuse.  In a 2019 interview with Variety Magazine, she stated “Puff is a very difficult person to work with,” O’Day says. “Everything had to be perfect. I remember times where he looked at my toenails and was like, ‘What is your third toenail doing? Go get that sh– fixed before you walk into a room.’ Or we would be in rehearsals performing an hour-and-a-half set over and over and he would walk in for five minutes with a camera and say, ‘Aubrey, why are you sweating? You look like a wet dog.’”

O’Day continued, “We were scared to death with what would happen with Puff each day,” she continues. “There was just no room for error. I experienced everything from race [remarks] to sexism and a lot of it was scary.”

In early August, O’Day explained that Diddy relinquished her publishing rights back, and that she was sent an NDA by the mogul, insisting her to never speak poorly of Bad Boy.

Following the news of Diddy and Cassie breaking, Aubrey O’Day took to her Instagram story writing, “Been trynna tell ya’ll for years. Prayers up for this Queen @cassie.” She continued, “One day ya’ll are gonna put some respect on my name when I tell you things. Thank you!”  Another former Danity Kane member, Dawn Richard, encouraged Cassie for coming forward on social media.  She wrote, “praying for Cassie and her family, for peace, and healing. You are beautiful and brave.”

Keefe D Implicates Diddy In Tupac Murder

Keefe D, the alleged accomplice in the murder of Tupac Shakur, has made a confession implicating Diddy in the crime. According to Keefe D, Diddy hired them to carry out the hit on Tupac and Suge Knight, where he stated in the confession, “He’d [Diddy] give us anything for them dudes heads.”

When Were Diddy & Cassie In A Relationship?

With the news breaking that Diddy is being sued for $30 million by his former flame Cassie, some fans might be wondering about the two stars’ relationship. After all, most of the headlines about the music mogul’s love life lately have revolved around his links to City Girls rapper Yung Miami. But before their connection, Casandra Ventura was Sean Combs’ original age-inappropriate paramour.

The two became connected after the release of Cassie’s hit single “Me & U” in 2006. Diddy heard “Me & U” in a club, and the song’s producer, Ryan Leslie, convinced him to support her debut album under both their imprints, Bad Boy Records and NextSelection, respectively. They went public with their relationship in 2012, appearing at events such as Kanye West’s fashion show in Paris that year.

However, by 2015, the couple appeared to have hit the rocks, with reports that they split up in December making the gossip blog rounds. They briefly reunited, until police were reportedly called to Cassie’s home when she tried to break up with him again in 2016. They were seen together again at the 2017 Met Gala, but by 2018, had apparently broken up again for the final time.

Cassie was eventually linked with fitness trainer Alex Fine that year; they married in 2019 and had two children together. In her lawsuit, she alleges that Diddy was abusive throughout their relationship, raped her in 2018 after forcing his way into her home, and that he even blew up Kid Cudi’s car in a fit of jealousy after their last breakup.

In a new lawsuit filed by singer Cassie, she not only accused music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs of nearly of decade of abuse and manipulation, but she also alleges that he might have been responsible for rapper Kid Cudi‘s car exploding after she dated him.

According to the New York Times, which broke the story, Diddy threatened to blow up the rapper’s car in 2012, when he and Cassie were briefly linked. The lawsuit reads, “Around that time, Kid Cudi’s car exploded in his driveway.” Kid Cudi apparently confirmed through a publicist, “This is all true.”

Elsewhere in the lawsuit, Cassie accuses Diddy of taking other extremely manipulative measures to control her during their tumultuous relationship, including threatening to withhold her music, pushing her to consume drugs like ecstasy and ketamine, and beating her, including giving her black eyes and paying off hotels to keep the abuse secret.

The lawsuit also alleges that he coerced her into having sex with male prostitutes, asserting that as this happened across state lines, this could qualify as sex trafficking.

Diddy denies the allegations, with one of his lawyers essentially calling the accusations a shakedown and saying Cassie tried to extort him with threats of a tell-all book, while Cassie’s attorneys maintain that it was the other way around and she refused a payoff from him to keep quiet.

Diddy Is Being Sued By Cassie For Rape And Repeated Physical Abuse

Casandra Ventura, best known as the singer Cassie, has sued her former longtime romantic partner, Sean “Diddy” Combs, accusing him of rape and a decade’s worth of physical abuse. According to the New York Times, Ventura filed sued today (November 16) in Manhattan Federal District Court, claiming that from shortly after they met in 2005 (she was 19 at the time), he exercised a pattern of abuse and manipulation that included beatings, drugs, coerced sex with male prostitutes, and at least one occasion, rape.

In a statement, Cassie wrote, “After years in silence and darkness, I am finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships.”

Diddy’s lawyer, Ben Brafman, wrote in response, “Mr. Combs vehemently denies these offensive and outrageous allegations. For the past six months, Mr. Combs has been subjected to Ms. Ventura’s persistent demand of $30 million, under the threat of writing a damaging book about their relationship, which was unequivocally rejected as blatant blackmail. Despite withdrawing her initial threat, Ms. Ventura has now resorted to filing a lawsuit riddled with baseless and outrageous lies, aiming to tarnish Mr. Combs’s reputation and seeking a payday.”

However, Ventura’s attorney, Douglas Wigdor, characterized the proposal differently. “Mr. Combs offered Ms. Ventura eight figures to silence her and prevent the filing of this lawsuit,” he said. “She rejected his efforts.”

The lawsuit names a number of other defendants as people who helped Diddy maintain the secrecy of these incidents, as well as claiming that he used threats, such as withholding her music, to coerce her compliance. He allegedly exercised control over her housing, transportation, and even medical records, while pushing her to take ecstasy and ketamine. Ventura says that he would become violent when angered, which was multiple times a year.

There are more detailed accounts in the Times‘ report, which readers should be warned are graphic in nature. It should be noted that there is at least one report of police involvement in the couple’s relationship woes.

Yung Miami Claps Back At Haters Bringing Up Diddy’s Ex Cassie

Yung Miami has no time for anyone saying she didn’t learn from Cassie as she pushes forward in her relationship with Diddy. “I think you under the wrong b-tch page LMAOOOOO,” Miami replied to one hater on Instagram. The claims that Miami is headed down the same path as Diddy’s infamous ex is one that has been used time and time against Miami. Clearly, she’s tired of hearing it.

The biggest name to recently bring it up was Azealia Banks. Last month, she turned her attention on the on-and-off couple of Diddy and Yung Miami. “Can we also stop pretending like @diddy has done anything for hip-hop or Black people?…[coercing] artists into compromising sexual encounters to blackmail them.” As her rant continued, the Banks went after Diddy for “stealing” his ex, Cassie, from Ryan Leslie. Banks then noted that Diddy did “absolutely nothing with her for over a decade.” Furthermore, she also turned around and took aim at Yung Miami. “Think about it, it took 25 years of stealing, doing drugs, and getting drunk to just now have cracked a $1 billion net worth. What’s he got to show for it? Caresha?” Banks can always be trusted to be beefing with someone, even when she’s making a return to music.

Yung Miami & Diddy Dish On Their Sex Life

However, regardless of what people say, the pair seem pretty happy together. Back in September, Miami revealed some juicy details about their sex life. The pillow talk came as the on-off couple hit up the latest episode of Love Radio on Apple. Of particular note was the discussion about just how Diddy can go for. “Let me tell y’all something. This n-gga don’t go to sleep. I be like goddamn. I’ma tell y’all something, for real, for real, for real, I really thought that I was gon’ make him tap out…This n-gga don’t go to sleep. I be like, ‘You need to go to sleep.’ You gotta be charged up like a Tesla,” the City Girl revealed.

It’s not the first time the couple has spilled the tea on their sex life. Earlier this year, Yung Miami revealed one of her bedroom preferences on Caresha Please. The activity in question was golden showers, which Miami was more than happy to defend. “I don’t know, it just do something for me,” Miami said matter of factly. As “PeeGate” began to trend on social media, Miami refused to back down over her preferences. “Y’all know Idgaf! Resha Roulette ain’t for the weak,” she said in a pair of tweets.
