Rather than dealing with obsessive internet trolls counting her every calorie, the “Players” hitmaker regularly hears from those who think she should be eating more and gaining weight. Understandably, the rising artist gets tired of the discourse every now and then, causing her to expertly clap back on social media. Most recently, she turned to Twitter on Thursday (April 6) to get a few things off her chest.
“Skinny and proud,” she wrote yesterday afternoon. In a follow-up post, the 25-year-old added, “People be like you need to eat. Only thing I’m eating is this motherf*cking hit.” Much to her fan’s pleasure, Leray then went on to tease another new release on the way. “Actually… I’m ready to eat another one… Ready for more music?”

The upcoming single will follow plenty of huge collaborations for the Trendsetter.
