Shannon Sharpe Goes Off On WNBA Players For Their Treatment Of Caitlin Clark And Angel Reese

Chennedy Carter pushed Caitlin Clark hard on Saturday when she was waiting at the baseline to accept an inbound pass, sparking speculation about possible deliberate targeting of Clark. The basketball community has taken notice of Carter’s foul on Clark during the Indiana Fever’s most recent game against the Chicago Sky. Additionally, Alyssa Thomas targeted Angel Reese with a vicious flagrant foul that got her ejected from their game last week. Many new fans and pundits who are finally watching WNBA basketball have decried the treatment of the rookies that have come in, especially Caitlin Clark. Shannon Sharpe used some strong words when discussing how the league welcomes rookies.

Shannon Sharpe joined the outraged supporters, calling Carter’s play on Clark a “Bush League play.” Sharpe said that WNBA experienced players are “mad” at rookies like Clark and Reese because they are receiving more attention during an interview with Chad Johnson on the “Nightcap” program. This seems to be the big topic of discussion within the WNBA as thousands of new fans are keeping up with the game. Sharpe called out the vets of the league, echoing Charles Barkley and LeBron’s defense for Caitlin Clark, essentially calling all the other women in the league jealous.

Shannon Sharpe Defends Caitlin Clark And Angel Reese

“That was not basketball … that’s Bush League. They are mad at Caitlin Clark, they are mad at Angel Reese because they are the Bird and Magic, and they are getting the attention. That was a Bush League play,” Shannon Sharpe told Johnson. Sharpe went on to say that the WNBA has never received as much attention as it has at the moment. He brought up A’Ja Wilson, the two-time MVP of the league, landing a footwear contract upon Clark’s arrival. It is kind of insulting to insinuate that a two-time MVP is only getting a deal because of Clark. There are already numerous women in the WNBA who have signature shoes.

Some of Caitlin Clark’s defending is warranted. Some are going a little overboard. Before Caitlin Clark was hit with a hard foul, she was seen chirping and getting in Chennedy Carter’s face. Caitlin Clark is a talented player but did a lot of “bush league” stuff in college to her credit. The difference is she was able to get away with it in college. But now she is finding it hard to get away with it in the WNBA. Overall, Shannon Sharpe thinks everyone is being unfair when, in reality, the conversation around her is bigger than anything going on on the court.

Angel Reese Gets Hit With $1k Fine For Dodging Media After Caitlin Clark Showdown

The WNBA has hit Angel Reese with a $1,000 fine for failing to speak with the press after the Chicago Sky’s loss to Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever on Saturday. Additionally, the league upgraded Chennedy Carter’s foul against Clark to a flagrant-1 violation after reviewing the play. Carter did speak with the media afterward although she wasn’t very cooperative when discussing the incident. She refused to comment on Clark and remarked “next question.”

“I wasn’t expecting it,” Clark said after the game. “It is what it is. It’s a physical game. Go make the free throw and execute on offense, and I feel like that’s kind of what we did.” She added: “I feel like I’m just at the point where you accept it and don’t retaliate… I’m trying not to let it bother me.”

Anthony Edwards Claps Back At Cam’ron In New Adidas Commercial, Cam Responds

Anthony Edwards has released his latest Adidas advertisement in response to the critics following the Timberwolves’ elimination in the Western Conference Finals. The star shooting guard for the Minnesota Timberwolves is one of the NBA’s most promising emerging talents. The most admirable aspect of Edwards’ ascent to stardom is that he maintains his own identity throughout his ascension. His collaboration with Adidas has elevated him even higher in the public eye. We must not overlook the fact that the shoes are on fire.

After he lost in the Western Conference finals, AE and Adidas replied, releasing a new advertisement aimed at his critics, according to Complex. In the advertisement, Anthony Edwards is shown working as a machine prints receipts that include criticism from his detractors. When Cam’ron claims that Edwards “isn’t a superstar yet,” Edwards responds by calling, saying, “F*ck Buddy.” AE declares at the conclusion of the ad that this is “just the beginning,” and he won’t be leaving. Only thing I would say is get a better looking lesbian to read the receipts 🤷🏾‍♂️😂😂😂😂” Cam loves the energy and says that he will explain the situation on Mondays It Is What It Is podcast with Mase. Anthony Edwards’s commercial is about keeping receipts, and a slight diss can be read as a massive diss and used for fuel by an athlete like Edwards.

Though the Wolves were disappointed not to go to the NBA Finals, they should be proud of themselves for beating the reigning champion Denver Nuggets. This season has shown that the possibilities are endless for this youthful and driven Timberwolves squad. If everyone stays healthy, we could expect to see the Timberwolves make another epic run the following season. Anthony Edwards is a player worth building around and has proven that he is a superstar. Anthony Edwards Led The Timberwolves In An Effort To Boycott “Inside The NBA”

The Minnesota Timberwolves were eliminated from the playoffs by the Dallas Mavericks last night. Young star Anthony Edwards has gotten a lot of praise this postseason, but ultimately, he and his team fell short. Throughout the last two series, the Timberwolves big man duo has been under a ton of scrutiny. Some of the criticism has been warranted, citing their play at times. Nevertheless, some of the critics seem to come from personal beef. Draymond Green, who had been featured on Inside the NBA, had a personal vendetta against DPOY Rudy Gobert.

Karl-Anthony Towns was also joked about and harshly criticized by Draymond and the Inside The NBA crew. Now, reportedly, Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves decided to boycott doing interviews with the beloved basketball show. The gesture is a form of solidarity with Gobert and Karl-Anthony Town. According to The Athletic, Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves declined to take part in “Inside The NBA” interviews in order to show support for Karl-Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert in the face of criticism from Draymond Green.

Anthony Edwards And The Timberwolves Boycotted “Inside The NBA”

According to club sources who spoke with The Athletic, Edwards was surrounded by a close-knit group of players who determined as a unit that no player would be featured on TNT’s “Inside the NBA” postgame program following their victory in Game 4 in Dallas. The choice was made as a show of support for Gobert and Towns after panelist and Golden State forward Draymond Green mocked and personally attacked them. Draymond had some words for Anthony Edwards himself as well. he disparaged the star guard after his comments after game 1.

Fans have decried the addition of Green because it seemed like all he wants to do is bring up personal beef and push his own agenda. Overall, Minnesota is led by a young, outspoken star who decided to show up for his teammates. Despite their inconsistent play, it seems like the Wolves are a close-knit team. Edwards vowed that they would be back next year. All in all, he will be thinking about the loss to the Mavs all off-season for fuel.

Snoop Dogg Was Loving Luka Doncic’s Trash Talk During Mavericks-Timberwolves Game 5

As Luka Doncic led the Dallas Mavericks to the NBA Finals, Snoop Dogg enjoyed the superstar’s trash-talking skills. As the Mavericks defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves, Doncic seemed to direct some disparaging remarks toward the rap icon, who was seated in the front row. This event was caught on camera by both the TV broadcast and spectator film from inside the arena. The Mavericks superstar could be seen saying, “Who’s crying, muthafucka?” in the direction of Snoop, who reacted by laughing.

Many people watching on TV thought the dig was aimed at Snoop, who was shown reacting to the trash talk. Subsequently, it was discovered that Doncic was indeed responding to a spectator sitting immediately behind Snoop, who had been making fun of the NBA All-Star the entire time. Snoop was spotted shaking his head in shock when Luka banked a three-pointer off the glass during the fourth quarter, demonstrating how much he loved the non-trash talk performance. Overall, Luka put on a show, and Snoop loved it.
