Fans believed that this couple was living out their quiet lives in wedded bliss, but it is being reported that Sterling Shepard and Chanel Iman have decided to divorce. The New York Giants star and his famed model wife have been married since 2018. Unlike other celebrity couples, Shepard and Iman don’t engage in many controversies nor do they share details about their relationship with the public.

Fans were surprised today (January 5) after it was announced that not only are they divorcing, but TMZ Sports reported that the NFL star actually filed court documents in June 2021.

Some have noted that it was clear that the marriage was rocky because photos of Shepard seemed to have disappeared from Iman’s social media pages. The two first met back in 2016 after being introduced at Victor Cruz’s birthday party. In interviews, they have stated that they were attracted to each other the first moment they met.

It is unclear what led up to the split, but Us Weekly reported that they “are going to try and remain civil and friendly towards each other.” They share two daughters: Cali, who was born in August 2018, and Cassie, who arrived in December 2019.

You never know what may pop up on the internet and this week, people were in a tizzy about yet another alleged celebrity sex tape. When videos such as these surface online, there is a voyeuristic, morbid sense of curiosity that causes social media users to lose their minds. Jill Scott found her name at the center of controversy after it was alleged that the celebrated songstress was the subject of a sex tape.

Thousands of people stormed the internet trying to find the clip and some even cracked jokes about Scott’s alleged involvement, but it all seemed to be much ado about nothing.

While there were conversations about the said sex tape, no one seems to have actually seen anything. The R&B icon is no stranger to a viral moment or two, so when she saw the chaos, she couldn’t help but chime in.

“Say word!?! I expect this energy when my new movies, albums and tv show drop. Ya’ll too much. #headedbacktowork #hydrate,” Scott tweeted. Although it was a light-hearted approach to hearing that people wanted to see you in your most private moments, the singer wasn’t kidding about people keeping that same energy for her career.

He may be a fan of the WWE, but the company is not playing any games with Westside Gunn. The rapper has reportedly been at odds with the famed wrestling corporation for months, dating back to October when WWE announcer Greg Hamilton publicly called out the Griselda icon on Instagram in a post that has since been deleted. Hamilton took issue with Gunn using his voice on his tracks.

We previously reported on the incident where Hamilton wrote, “Well @westsidegunn @buffalokidsgallery let’s hope that since you STOLE my voice for your incoherent kindergarten fables…that you saved up enough delivering for Door Dash,” wrote an irate Hamilton.

He added, “You’ll be paying me for years….apologize and I’ll think about not collecting every dime for the rest of your life….or I can just get WWE lawyers….that’s ok too. Settle with my lawyer. And don’t EVER use my voice again….so wrong.” It looks as if Hamilton may be making good on his promise because over on the Griselda Records’ Instagram Story, they shared a screenshot that shows several YouTube videos have been removed.

“Due to a copyright takedown notice that we received, we had to take down the following videos from YouTube,” the note read before listing off the videos. It included, “Takedown issued by: WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT, INC.” Over the image, someone wrote, “Retroactive copyright claims why!?! @WWE.”

We’re not sure how far this will go, but it’s a hard hit for the Buffalo collective.

New information regarding the investigation into the murder of Young Dolph has been shared today (January 5), and the public is hoping that investigators are closer to solving this case. Hip Hop fans were stunned to learn of Young Dolph’s murder back in November in his hometown of Memphis, and even more alarming was the surveillance footage that showed the moments the rapper was killed.

There have been reports about this investigation, but authorities had not yet named any suspects until today. According to the Memphis Police Department, they are seeking the whereabouts of 23-year-old Justin Johnson who they claim shot Dolph.

In a press release, authorities stated that a first-degree murder warrant has been issued for Johnson, adding that he “also has an outstanding warrant for violation of federal supervised release.” That case centered around a weapons offense.

“Since Johnson has been able to evade capture, law enforcement agencies are now offering a combined reward of $15,000. U.S. Marshals are offering up to $10,000; MPD and Crime Stoppers up to $2,500, and TBI up to $2,500 as Johnson has been added to the TBI’s ‘Most Wanted’ list.”

They also added that Johnson should be considered to be armed and dangerous, and has alleged ties to “organized criminal gangs.” We will keep you updated as this case progresses. Check out more below.

She has had her fair share of run-ins with the law during her time on Mob Wives, and reports state that Renee Graziano has once again been arrested. Graziano rose to global fame while featured on the controversial unscripted VH1 series that followed the wives, girlfriends, and family members of figures who allegedly had mob ties. Her fiery temper and no-nonsense attitude captivated viewers and Graziano continues to be a fan favorite.

On Tuesday (January 4), it was reported that Graziano was arrested in the late evening following a car crash in Staten Island. It was around 10:35 p.m. when Graziano reportedly lost control of her vehicle.

The Staten Island Advance reports that Graziano hit an unoccupied parked car before her vehicle was flipped upside down. Officers claimed that the reality star appeared to be under the influence and when questioned, Graziano allegedly admitted that she had taken Adderall. Authorities are said to be waiting on the results of her blood work.

Graziano’s father, Anthony Graziano, an alleged consigliere of the Bonanno crime family, spent time in prison for charges related to “murder conspiracy, racketeering, illegal gambling and investment fraud before his death in 2019.” Additionally, Graziano’s ex-husband, Hector (Junior) Pagan, was also allegedly connected to the mob, and later, while on Mob Wives, it was confirmed that he was an FBI informant.

In the near-50 year history of hip-hop, there hasn’t been an album with as much notoriety as Wu-Tang Clan’s one-of-one Once Upon A Time In Shaolin. The album was released as a sole copy that somehow ended up in the hands of incarcerated Pharma Bro Martin Shkreli. As part of his judgment in his case, the feds confiscated the album along with the copy of Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V that he apparently inherited with Weezy’s old Bugatti.

A new buyer swept up the rare album last summer, according to the Department of Justice. BuzzFeed obtained new documents surrounding the album months after the art collective PleasrDAO obtained Once Upon A Time In Shaolin. A previous New York Times article reported that they paid a total of $4M for the album — double of what Shkreli dropped. However, the government claims that the price of the album is a “trade secret.” The new buyers also are subject to the same rules as Shkreli’s purchasing agreement. 

Through a FOI Act lawsuit, the new documents obtained by Buzzfeed include over a dozen undisclosed photos of the album. However, the government reportedly redacted images of the CDs, the 175-page lyric book, and the tracklist.

The new owners of the album are allowed to display the presentation box with the Wu-Tang Clan logo if they choose. However, they’re prohibited from making copies of the album to distribute. Maybe we’ll be able to listen to the album in its entirety, one day.

Social media has been buzzing about the Fresh & Fit Podcast, but not over anything positive. The podcast went viral this week after Asian Doll walked out of an interview due to a tense exchange with social media personality, Myron Gaines. He previously made waves over on TikTok for his controversial remarks about women, dating, and race, and following his disrespect toward Asian Doll, people began pulling receipts of past remarks made by Gaines and his podcasts co-hosts.

Gaines has long stated that he doesn’t find Black women attractive and often uses his platform to speak negatively about them, and after the viral backlash, he quickly jumped online to defend his previous remarks as “preference.” However, it was a tad too late and it all landed on Joe Budden’s desk. 

 

Budden knows all about stirring up controversy via a podcast, but he was so outraged by Fresh & Fit that he penned a lengthy message on his Instagram denouncing the platform.

“Now i don’t normally do the ‘repost another pod’ thing because 1. i just don’t, & 2. some stuff just doesn’t deserve to be highlighted, but today I’ll make an exception,” Budden wrote. “I don’t know these 2 Doofs but they don’t get to do this. Too ignorant, inexperienced, insecure, fragile and weak for this stale gimmick to not be seen through. Black women are everything, ESPECIALLY beautiful!! Every kind of beautiful too, so to hear this?!? From them?!? Lol it’s laughable.. but it’s not.”

He added, “It’s not ‘y’all don’t date Black women’ fam, Black women won’t date y’all (i can tell) so you harbor this hate and base opinions off as if you’ve been outside long enough to even know yourself… and y’all are angry about it, just not angry enough to not use them.

These Idiots know most podcasts can’t get off the ground or gain any traction without love OR hate from Black women. Both act as fuel. This is nothing more than a cheap, tasteless heave at a payday. The words don’t match the actions, if you hate them, do it without them. Skip the topic. Don’t have them as guests (you clearly don’t know how to host them). Don’t cater convo toward them. Say no to every dollar/view/like/download/subscription generated directly or indirectly by them, then I’ll believe you. This is just pure laziness (amongst other things). If you can’t find a funny/creative way to be inclusive or discuss dating then go back to the drawing board. I’ll skip the lecture on self hatred and just be glad they make is so easy to spot.

Fresh & Fit is taking some major hits across several social media platforms as more videos of Gaines surface. In one, he advises men how to get a woman to hook up with them even when she has already said no, leaving many to accuse him of coercion, which in some states is considered to be a crime of abuse.

Freddie Gibbs has been at war with the industry before he even got in the game. During his early days — pre-Pinata — the rapper was practically blackballed after dissing on anyone that he could, hence the alleged scuffle with Jim Jones at Prime 112 in Miami in December. Yet, he remains as outspoken as ever, perhaps, even more with the newfound fame that came along with a Grammy nomination.

It seems like some subliminal messages he sent around the time Gunna’s Crime Stoppers video made rounds came back to haunt him. Despite publicly professing his appreciation for Gunna and posting a picture alongside the YSL rapper, Freddie Gibbs caught a stray in a new song preview. Gunna took to Twitter where he wrote, “When my album drop Freddie Gibbs will the biggest moment of his career.” 

In response to Gunna, Gibbs quoted the tweet and shared a kiss emoji before expressing his gratitude for his infamy. “I’m the hot topic right now these n***az need me to push the project. I get it,” Gibbs wrote. “U can say U sold more records got more money but I ain’t never been on crime stoppers. Fin.”

A preview then surfaced where Gunna takes light shots at the Grammy-nominated MC. “Stay up off the ‘Gram/ Can’t fuck with Freddie Gibbs,” Gunna raps. Of course, this got back to Akademiks, who claimed that the 5-second snippet is “hotter than anything FEDERICK Gibbs ever released in his life.”

Gibbs, however, was less than impressed with the lackluster delivery behind Gunna’s ominous message. “Damn that was it? I thought fam was gon gimme some bars. Let’s go,” Gibbs tweeted. “I love gunna music I think he one of the best making music so to be recognized by one of the best is a blessing. Now don’t take this get back shit personal.”

“2 years ago these n***az wouldn’t have mentioned my name. That let U know who the new king is,” he added. 

And while that might be true, Akademiks countered Freddie’s comments about Gunna’s apparent Crime Stoppers appearance. “Dawg talking bout crimestoppers.. n***a ur entire childhood was crime stoppers.. ur father a COP n***a.. ur brother a DISTRICT ATTORNEY. brother. N***a ur childhood literally a season of First 48….,” Akademiks tweeted.

Gunna’s yet to respond to Freddie’s latest tweets but perhaps there’s more to the diss. We’ll find out on Friday when DS4 drops.

Anything that has to do with Kanye West is never under the radar. The Uncut Gems actress, Julia Fox, was spotted out with the rapper on what now seems to be multiple dates, and thus, her name has been ringing bells across the internet.

But who is Julia Fox? She’s much more than Ye’s new arm candy. From being featured in Playboy to owning her own fashion line, Fox has a pretty lengthy resume.

Dominating her Youth

Julia was born in Milan, Italy on February 2, 1990 to her Italian mother and American father. Due to the difficult relationship with her parents, Fox lived with her grandfather. At the early age of six, Fox moved to America with her father and lived in Manhattan.

In an interview withHigh Snob Society, Fox reminisced on the hardships she faced growing up in New York. “We moved around a lot. It was kind of unstable. We were homeless at one point. I actually lived in almost every single neighborhood- Harlem, Chelsea, everywhere. I moved Downtown when I was 17, and I haven’t left.”

Getting into the downtown scene early, Fox began to feel old at a very young age. After surviving an overdose at the age of 17, she admitted to being over parties and wanting to immediately start working.

Passion for Fashion

Julia launched a successful knit-wear line with her best friend Brianna Andalore called Franziska Fox. The duo successfully made an imprint on the fashion industry with their line. With their items retailing from $250 to $1,300, they were able to follow their passion and reap the benefits.

Her bestie described a Franziska Fox woman as “bold, fearless, self-assured and confident.” Using mainly Italian fabrications, the items were made in a workshop in Vietnam which donated some of its proceeds to the United Nations Children’s Fund.

Fox told High Snob Society, “I was hustling, getting our clothes on celebrities. I had so much fun with it in the beginning. But eventually, it’s not exciting anymore when somebody famous or somebody you admire wears your s**t.”

Fox has done a lot of dabbling in the world of art. 

She was featured in Playboy magazine in 2015 where she posed nude as a photographer. Additionally, she published two photography books: Symptomatic of a Relationship Gone Sour: Heartburn/Nausea which was published in 2015, and PTSD which was published in 2016.

To add to her artistic abilities, in 2017, Fox hosted an art exhibit called, “R.I.P Julia Fox.” The exhibit featured paintings made out of her own blood. Fox told Huffington Post, “I wanted the show to be as authentic and personal as possible. I extracted the blood with a syringe and used the syringe to paint on the silk. It wasn’t as bad as it seems.”

Acting Debut

Fox became known as Julia De Fiore in the Netflix movie Uncut Gems in 2019. Julia plays a saleswoman and mistress of the film’s protagonist Howard Ratner, played by Adam Sandler.

Fox revealed to Paper Magazinethat the role had actually been written for her. “I’m the only cast member that was never interchanged. Everyone else was swapped out, but I’m the only one that stayed the same.”

Though the script was written with her in mind, she still had to fight for it. She had to prove to Scott Rudin, the producer, that she had what it took.  

Ultimately, she did just that. Fox was nominated for the Gothams’ Breakthrough Actor award for her role.

Family Issues

Like Ye, Fox has also been going through marital issues. She gave birth to her son, Valentino, in January of 2021 with her now estranged husband, Peter Artemiev. Just last month, the actor took to social media to make some shocking remarks regarding the relationship with her ex-partner. “This man left me with a 5-month-old and a dog and a home and ALL THE BILLS,” Fox stated. 

Putting him on blast even further, she posted an image of him on her Instagram story and exposed him for being a deadbeat, alcoholic, drug addict dad who can be found at most strip clubs.

Julia and Ye sparked dating rumors over the New Years’ Eve weekend. They were seen together at Carbone, a restaurant in Miami. Sources also say they saw the two arrive at the Pendry Manhattan West hotel, which is about 20 minutes from where they had dinner. 

Following Saturday, the two had another date night on Tuesday. They went to see the Slave Play on Broadway. 

To add even more to the drama, Fox previously wore the same dress as Kim Kardashian, Kanye’s soon-to-be ex-wife. The dress, a black and white striped, sheer gown made by Jean Paul Gaultier, was seen on Kim K at the 2018 People’s Choice Awards. Fox recently wore it to Paris Fashion Week.

Antonio Brown shocked the NFL world this weekend after his bizarre outburst that saw him strip out of his gear before running out of the stadium. It has since been reported that Brown will be released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, however, an official release has yet to take place. As for the reasoning behind this outburst, some have stated that Brown was simply too injured to play and that he was angered by the team’s insistence that he get on the field for a few plays. 

Following the fiasco, Bucs quarterback Tom Brady took to his “Let’s Go” podcast where he spoke at length about the situation and how he feels about it all. As he explains, football players are humans too, and sometimes, fans forget that. When it comes to AB, Brady believes he could use some help, and that we shouldn’t lose sight of the fact that mental health should always come first.

“We used to think that we were robots out there and we’d go out there and play and it’s more than that now,” Brady said. “There’s a humanity to everything that we’re doing out there.”

Brady has always been extremely understanding of Brown’s circumstances, so it’s nice to see him sticking up for the wide receiver here. After all, Brady is the face of the Buccaneers, and what he says tends to go a very long way.
