DJ Khaled Keeps His New Shoes Clean By Having His Security Carry Him

Rap artists having a love for nice shoes goes back decades. DJ Khaled is no different as he’s taken fans behind the scenes of his elaborate shoe collection in the past. Over the weekend he performed in Miami and unsurprisingly wanted to bring out his best drip. In a video he shared from just before the show he went to great lengths to assure that his shoes would be in perfect condition. When getting out of his car to get to the stage Khaled needed a way to keep his shoes off the ground.

The way he chose to do that was by getting two of his security guards to carry him. In the start of the hilarious video, he has two big security guards lift him up while he pulls his legs up to avoid any ground-to-shoe contact. The hilarious video reminded fans of a similar incident where Jack Harlow needed security to carry him at the Kentucky Derby a few years ago. While some sneakerheads in the comments wish they could keep their shoes that clean, many laughed at Khaled. Some of the top comments mentioned that he would eventually get them dirty anyway. DJ Khaled is often making as much noise for his silly antics as he is for actual music. That was the case earlier this month when video made the rounds online of a cop on a motorcycle stopping Khaled riding around on a golf cart. Details on why he was pulled over or what happened next are pretty scant but it’s another hilarious viral moment for Khaled regardless.

Khaled has been teasing an upcoming new album since last year. He led off the record with a feature stacked lead single and fans are expecting even more big names on the album proper. Lil Baby & Fat Joe Talk Sneakers: Watch

Lil Baby is someone who has been building quite the sneaker collection for himself over the last few years. Overall, sneakers are a huge part of popular culture and fashion. At the end of the day, sneakers can prove to be the centerpiece of an outfit. Although not everyone is a sneakerhead, most people still appreciate shoes. When you have lots of money, you have access to all of the sneakers in the world. As you can imagine, the artist has taken full advantage of that, and we can see it with every outfit.

In a recent video where Lil Baby showed off his sneaker collection, he claimed that he has a collection that could realistically rival that of Fat Joe. Of course, Fat Joe is a legend in the sneaker world. He has some truly amazing shoes and he even has some one-of-ones that some people could only dream of having. Consequently, some people were not vibing with what Baby had to say. Funny enough, the two got to meet up recently, where they spoke about sneakers.

In the clip above, you can see Fat Joe presenting Baby with what appears to be a pair of Nike Air Force 1 Lows. This then leads to a fairly animated conversation about shoes. Overall, it was a pretty cool link-up and those around them thought so too as they all had their phones out. Now, we imagine Lil Baby and Fat Joe are going to be bonded by sneakers forever. Perhaps this could lead to some collaborations in the future. Moreover, it could open up Baby to better access to exclusive shoes

If you really compared collections, Fat Joe would probably win. However, he has had a two-decade head start, so it is hardly fair to compare. Meek Mill Roasted For Trying To School A Sneaker Reseller

Meek Mill is someone who has always tried to give people advice. This is especially true in the world of business. After all, Meek has made a lot of money during his career, and he has managed to stay wealthy. Overall, there are things that Meek has experienced that the average person never will. Consequently, he can be a solid person to listen to when it comes to specific topics. However, there are sometimes when his advice is actually roasted and dissected on the internet. Over the weekend, we got one such example.

In the video clip down below, you can see that Meek Mill was at a sneaker convention. At one point, he stumbled upon a show he wanted. The sneaker was the Air Jordan 4 x Nike SB collaboration in “Pine Green.” Overall, the reseller wanted $500 for the shoe. However, Meek was saying he would pay $300 and give the reseller promo. The reseller saw through this and stayed firm on his price. This led to a bit of a speech from Meek who said it was bad business to keep the price at $500. In Meek’s eyes, had he sold the shoes to him for $300, he would have come back and bought more while also giving promo online.

Meek Mill Tries To Get Some Kicks

In the end, Meek paid the $500 USD for the sneakers but was adamant that the seller made a huge mistake. However, that is not how the internet felt. The clip of Meek started to go viral, and fans immediately admonished him for what he was saying. “I wonder if he does this when he buys designer,” one person asked. “He can’t get them at no store for regular price tho…. Shit, he can’t get them at no retail store period.” said another.
