When it comes to the summer months, there are a ton of amazing pieces of footwear that you can choose from. However, there is no doubt that slides seem to be the obvious choice when it comes to warmer months. Overall, there is a good reason for this. Slides allow for your feet to be exposed to the air. This gives you some breathability. Moreover, it can help cool you off. Whether you are at the pool or simple running some errands, slides should always be part of your sneaker rotation. In the ongoing legal battle between Kanye West and Adidas, a judge has ruled overturning the freeze on $75 million in Kanye’s bank account. Kanye West Reportedly Did Have Close To $100 Million Frozen By Adidas

Back in November, Kanye West accused Adidas of freezing some of his accounts. While speaking to an outlet called X17, he noted that over $75 million in cash was frozen out of nowhere. Overall, it was a pretty wild claim. However, many tied it to his anti-Semitic comments and the brand’s attempts to get out of their deal with him. “I went from being a multi-billionaire to not even being able to use my Apple Pay four nights ago. I couldn’t use my Apple Pay because someone how Adidas was able to legally go in and freeze my money,” he explained at the time.

In new unsealed court documents from Law360, it appears as though Kanye was right about having his money frozen. Ultimately, Adidas was told explicitly in a court of law that they could, indeed, freeze close to $100 million worth of Ye’s money. Moreover, it was revealed that this was an “ex parte” decision from the court. Consequently, Ye was never given a chance to actually respond to the decision. Subsequently, Adidas is entering arbitration to officially terminate its deal with Kanye, and this has led to more litigation with the courts. Essentially, they want a New York federal court to uphold the initial ruling.

Kanye West Was Right

This is very interesting timing seeing as though Ye and Adidas have teamed up to sell off the remaining Yeezys that are in stock. Kanye will be getting a pretty hefty royalty from this. However, it is clear that Adidas would rather just sever ties completely, and as soon as humanly possible. Given the circumstances, it is understandable as to why they feel that way.

Overall, this is an ongoing situation with some fairly big stakes involved. For Kanye, he just wants proper access to his money. Meanwhile, Adidas wants to protect its interests and profits. Stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest news and updates from around the sneaker world.

Adidas Yeezy Foam Runner “MX Cinder” Revealed

One of the wildest shoes to come out of the Kanye West and Adidas partnership is the Adidas Yeezy Foam Runner. Overall, this is a very skeletal shoe that was made with comfort and leisure in mind. However, it has ultimately become a huge hit, against all odds. One would assume that people would hate these. Although, people have since spoken in favor of this silhouette. It just goes to show that when it comes to Kanye, he can do anything and people will rush to defend it.

While the Adidas Yeezy partnership has ended, some Adidas Yeezy Foam Runner models are still to be released. That is because Adidas has decided to sell off the $500 million worth of Yeezy sneakers they have in their warehouse. Proceeds from this sell-off will go to anti-racism organizations. Moreover, 15 percent will go to Kanye West as part of his royalty deal. This new sell-off is set to happen very soon, and now, we are seeing some of the models that are rumored to be released. For instance, you can find the “MX Cinder” Adidas Yeezy Foam Runner down below.

“MX Cinder” Adidas Yeezy Foam Runner

Overall, this is a cool and unique offering. Most Foam Runners are just one color. However, this model delivers a base color and some paint strokes. The base here is a mixture of black and charcoal grey. Subsequently, we get multiple shades of brown at the back, while the front has some blue elements. It is a colorway that doesn’t have much rhyme or reason, although we think fans prefer it that way.

For now, it does seem like the Adidas restock will be happening as of May 31st. However, many of the shoes will supposedly be spread out over a few days. Consequently, there is no official date for when this Adidas Yeezy Foam Runner will be released. Let us know what you think of this sneaker, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the sneaker world. We will be sure to bring you the biggest releases from the biggest brands.

Adidas To Donate Proceeds Of Unsold Yeezy Shoes To Anti-Defamation League

Kanye West

Adidas has announced its decision to donate the proceeds of unsold Yeezy shoes to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). This move comes as part of the sportswear company’s effort to redeem itself after severing ties with rapper Kanye West following his controversial anti-semitic remarks on Twitter in October 2022. Share of Profits From Adidas and Yeezy Sales To Go to Anti-Defamation League

First Adidas and YEEZY Restock Under New Agreement Set for June 1

The organizations for donations from the relaunch of Adidas bulk of YEEZY products have been revealed. TMZ states the upcoming profits will be split between the Anti-Defamation League and other charities.

The start of the sale will begin at the end of the month. Adidas states a “significant amount will be donated to selected organizations working to combat discrimination and hate, including racism and antisemitism.” It is believed $1.3 billion in products remained when the split between Ye and Adidas launched.

In February, The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) recently reported that Kanye’s anti-Semitic rants were linked to 30 incidents in the US targeting Jewish people.

“These incidents — which include vandalism, banner drops, targeted harassment, and campus propaganda distributions — demonstrate the ongoing influence of Ye’s conspiratorial, bigoted rants,” the ADL wrote.

“Immediately following Ye’s antisemitic comments, which included inflammatory tropes about Jewish power and Holocaust denial, the slogan ‘Ye Is Right’ surfaced online in hashtags and antisemitic accounts. The ADL Center on Extremism has also tracked references to ‘Ye Is Right’ in instances of on-the-ground antisemitic vandalism and harassment nationwide.”

Jonathan Greenblatt, the CEO of the ADL, said in a statement to Billboard that Ye is inspiring people to commit “real-world acts of hate.”

“Kanye West’s repeated antisemitic remarks – and his dredging up some of the worst anti-Jewish tropes imaginable – doubtlessly are having an impact and inspiring people to commit real-world acts of hate,” Greenblatt stated. “As we have long maintained, celebrities and others who engage in spreading hateful tropes need to know their words have consequences. Unfortunately, Kanye’s decision to continue to peddle hatred against Jews is only giving encouragement to people who are already infected with hate.”

Following reports of a renewed partnership and UK page loading, Adidas India released a promotional image for the YEEZY line for a June 1 release.

The YEEZY brand is set to release the Yeezy 350 “Pirate Black,” Zebra 350s, Utility Black 500s, the Yeezy Foam Runner, and Yeezy Slides. According to Sneaker News, new Yeezy Styles never seen before will be introduced to the public.

Hypebeast, highlighted the sign of initial restocks of Yeezy products on the adidas UK website.

The report states the product pages for the YEEZY 350 BOOST V2 “Zebra” and the YEEZY 500 “Utility Black” will be of the launch. The site can spot both models by searching “Yeezy Trainers.” Currently, there is no specific date set for the launch.

News of the renewed partnership comes via the YEEZY MAFIA, a source of all things Yeezy, including his sneaker line.

Confirming the news, Reuters states Adidas CEO Bjoern Gulden revealed the renewed partnership to move some of the merchandise and donate some of the proceeds to international organizations.

A reported $1.3 billion in Yeezy-branded Adidas products are sitting in storage after the partnership was ended over the rapper’s antisemitic statements. Gulden stated plans for how Adidas will continue with the sale are not in place.

“What we are trying to do now over time is to sell some of this merchandise … burning the goods would not be a solution,” Gulden said.

Donating the sneakers was not an option out of fear the sneakers would reach the secondary market. Adidas stock is up 2% so far on the day. Ye would still receive 15% of the sales.

Speaking on the rapper, Culden stated about Ye, “As difficult as he was, he is perhaps the most creative mind in our industry.”

Adidas Yeezy 350 “Pirate Black” Coming Soon: Details

One of the best original silhouettes from the Kanye West and Adidas partnership would have to be the Adidas Yeezy 350. Overall, this is a shoe that fans remember fondly. Of course, we subsequently got the 350 V2 which was milked for all that it was worth. However, fans didn’t complain too hard about that as the 350 V2 was a phenomenal sneaker. Either way, there is no doubt that the Adidas Yeezy brand has some bangers in the stash. Not to mention, a whole bunch of them are set to be released.

Yes, that is correct, some Adidas Yeezy shoes are on their way back. Although Kanye and Adidas are no longer partnered together, the latter has a whole bunch of stock to sell. As we have reported, there is about $500 million worth of Yeezys left in the Adidas warehouse. These shoes have been burning a hole in Adidas’ wallet and they are finally getting rid of them. Otherwise, they would stand to lose hundreds of millions of dollars. However, it should be noted that most of the money is going to charity, while 15 percent goes to Kanye.
