Kyler Murray Hit With Brutal ACL Diagnosis

Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals have not been having the best season. Last year, the team went on a massive unbeaten streak before they were eventually humbled later in the season. Subsequently, they were destroyed by the Los Angeles Rams in the playoffs.

Since then, Murray and the Cardinals have been out of sorts. Head coach Kliff Kingsbury doesn’t seem to be cutting it right now, and there is this sense that he could be fired in the offseason. Overall, this is not what the Cardinals were hoping for coming into this season.

Kyler Murray Injured

Last night, things went from bad to worse for the team as Kyler Murray went down with an injury in the first quarter. As you can see in the clip below, he was running the ball when he planted his leg and bent it the wrong way. Subsequently, Murray went down and was carted off the field.

Today, Murray got some horrible news. According to Ian Rapoport, he has officially torn his ACL, which means he needs surgery. Consequently, the quarterback is now done for the season. The Cardinals will have to use their backup QB, and overall, their chances of making the playoffs are gone.

For Cardinals fans, this has been a disastrous season in every respect. It seemed like they had the ability to build on last year, but that has not been the case so far. Needless to say, it is time to go back to the drawing board. Whether or not that includes Kliff Kingsbury, still remains to be seen.

Von Miller Sends A Message After ACL Surgery

Von Miller has been a great player for the Buffalo Bills this season. Miller has won two Super Bowls at this point, and with the Bills in a position to win this year, Miller’s experience has been extremely valuable to the team and its goals.

Unfortunately for Miller, he suffered a knee injury during a Thanksgiving Day game against the Lions. Initially, it was thought that Miller would be good to go after a few weeks. However, it was revealed this week that Miller would actually need surgery to repair his ACL.

Von Miller Speaks After Surgery

Yesterday, Miller officially had successful surgery on his knee. Now, Miller is out for the season and will have to watch his team from the sidelines. Overall, it is a bad situation for Miller. However, in a video posted to his Instagram story, he made it clear that he’s doing just fine.

“Mentally, I couldn’t be in a better spot and I think that is the majority of it. Don’t feel sorry for me, don’t say I hate it for you — none of that stuff ’cause I am good!” Miller said. “I’m excited for the opportunity to show my teammates how tough I am, how hard I work, and how important that this means to me. I love you guys, and I appreciate you guys. All love and respect. Don’t blink, baby!”

The Bills have five games to go this season. For now, they are gunning for the top spot in the AFC which would give them a bye to the Division Round. Without Miller, however, it is going to be just a bit tougher to make it through.
