49ers & Raiders Fans Brawl At In-N-Out Leads To Stabbing

If you are an NFL fan, you know that those who support the 49ers and the Raiders don’t exactly love each other. Overall, these fans used to just be a bridge away from one another. On one hand, you had the 49ers fans in San Francisco. Subsequently, the Raiders fans were in Oakland. These days, however, the Raiders fans are in Las Vegas. That said, there are still quite a few supports in the Bay Area with lots of resentment towards those in San Fran. Unfortunately, that showed at a Santa Clara In-N-Out over the weekend.

According to TMZ, fans of the 49ers and the Raiders were at the local In-N-Out when all hell broke loose. Fans started brawling in the middle of the dining area, and bodies were flying. Additionally, some patrons were left bloody as cops had a hard time pulling people from each other. Overall, it was not a great scene, especially since it was reported that two people were also stabbed. They were subsequently taken to the hospital and treated for injuries. Thankfully, they are going to be okay.

49ers And Raiders Fan Fight Gets Out Of Hand

At the time of writing this, no one has been charged for the fight. However, the man who stabbed two people is currently on the run. Police are looking for him, but for now, they have yet to get anywhere. As you all know, fights between fanbases happen all the time. However, they usually take place at the stadium where the two teams are playing. Instead, this incident was far from the arena, after a preseason game that didn’t even involve the Raiders.

Hopefully, fans start to calm down a bit over the coming years. It feels like these fights have gotten out of hand, especially with two people being stabbed. Massive Fan Brawl Breaks Out During 49ers Preseason Game

The San Francisco 49ers evened their preseason record to 1-1 on August 19, securing a 21-20 victory at home against the Denver Broncos. Trey Lance appeared to assuage some of the fears about his ability. The former FCS star threw for 173 yards, a touchdown, and an interception. Meanwhile, 7th-round rookie Ronnie Bell put up 114 yards on seven receptions as he fights for a place on the final roster.

On the other side of the field, the Broncos dropped to 0-2 on the preseason. This was despite a strong performance from undrafted running back Jaleel McLaughlin. McLaughlin had 45 yards on the ground with one touchdown. However, McLaughlin also caught a short TD pass from Ben DiNucci. McLaughlin has been described as the “greatest running back you’ve never heard of” after rushing for over 8,000 yards in college. However, the result of the game was overshadowed by the chaos unfolding in the stands.

Brawl Breaks Out At Levi’s Stadium

A major brawl broke out amongst a section of 49ers supporters during the game, quickly devolving into a full-blown fight. Footage from the incident shows fans shoving one another while also throwing closed-fist punches. At one point, a fan is shown to have been knocked unconscious by the ruckus. The man in question was seen bloodied and shaken as stewards tried to help him away from the area.

It’s unknown what caused the fight to break out, and police are yet to announce any arrests. What’s most unusual is that the fight occurred between 49ers supporters. This is opposed to the brawl being between fans of the two teams on the field. Other outlets that the commotion was caused by three rowdy fans and rippled behind those instigators. Fans and security alike could be seen trying to restrain the fighters. Furthermore, it appears that the main confrontation was between a man in a Jerry Rice jersey and a man in a white t-shirt. It is the man in the white t-shirt who was briefly knocked out and later led away bleeding.

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy was injured during the NFC Championship game against the Philadelphia Eagles, leaving the team on an island once the fourth quarterback also left the game with a concussion.

Watching the game at home, and seemingly hoping for a Niner’s victory, was wrestling legend Ric Flair who offered some criticism to the young star.

“.@brockpurdy13, I Crashed In An Airplane!!! Get In The Game! WTF!!!” Flair tweeted.

Purdy got back in the game, but was largely ineffective, only throwing two short passes and orchestrating plenty of handoffs to his skill players Deebo Samuel and Christian McCaffrey.

Purdy is believed to enter next season as QB1 for the Niners.
