Boosie Badazz Discusses Keefe D Arrest: “I Was Kind Of Surprised”

Boosie Badazz says that he was “kind of surprised” when authorities arrested Keefe D for the murder of 2Pac. Speaking with VladTV during a new interview, Boosie explained that he was under the impression Keefe D had immunity for the crime.

When asked if he was surprised, Boosie responded: “Kind of, because he’s been talking about it and I thought when he got busted or whatever he had immunity. So, when he got arrested, I was like, immunity must be f*cking gone. I don’t know, I was kind of surprised. I thought he’d never get arrested for it.” Afterward, Vlad explained that Keefe D only got a “proffer agreement” not full immunity.

2Pac’s sister recently discussed Keefe D’s arrest in a statement, admitting that she won’t feel closure until all legal proceedings are done. “This is no doubt a pivotal moment,” she explained. “The silence of the past 27 years surrounding this case has spoken loudly in our community. It’s important to me that the world, the country, the justice system, and our people acknowledge the gravity of the passing of this man, my brother, my mother’s son, my father’s son. His life and death matters, and should not go unsolved or unrecognized.” Be on the lookout for further updates on Keefe D’s case on HotNewHipHop.

Jada Pinkett Smith Recalls Being “Rageful” After Receiving 2Pac’s Ashes From Suge Knight

As her book tour continues, Jada Pinkett Smith shared the story of receiving 2Pac’s ashes from Suge Knight. “Having to receive ‘Pac’s ashes in that way was a really devastating moment … to just get him in this little cardboard box. And yeah, I was very rageful about the whole thing.” Pinkett Smith said. The actress went on to say that there was something about Suge’s attitude in that moment that rubbed her the wrong way.

However, Pinkett Smith played coy when asked if Suge’s behavior made her believe he was involved in 2Pac’s death. “One thing I’ve learned – not to make assumptions. Lord knows so many assumptions gave been made about me of what people think they know front-facing. And there’s always more to the story so I can’t make assumptions,” she said in response.

2Pac Suspect Arraignment Postponed A Second Time

However, despite the flurry of activity earlier this month, the legal proceedings into 2Pac’s murder have once again stalled. Judge Tierra Jones agreed to postpone the arraignment of Duane “Keefe D” Davis for a second time. The motion was filed by Ross Goodman, a prominent Vegas-area lawyer. Goodman argued that he needed more time to determine whether he wanted to be confirmed as Davis’ lawyer. “I’m going to give you two weeks, but in two weeks, we have to get this case moving,” Jones warned Goodman. Davis was originally scheduled to be arraigned on October 4.

Despite this, Goodman indicated that Davis intended to plead not guilty once he was finally arraigned. “I’m not yet hired to review the grand jury transcripts. But the things that jump out, there’s no gun, there’s no car, and there are no witnesses from 27 years ago,” Goodman argued. The not guilty plea will come despite Davis having spent the last few years openly bragging about his involvement in 2Pac’s murder. The various interviews Davis has given, as well as the book he published, are expected to be used as evidence by the prosecution.

50 Cent Trolls Keefe D After He Asks Diddy For Help

50 Cent has taken aim at Keefe D and at a lesser extent, Diddy. Fif posted a video of Keefe D asking Diddy for help during an interview on The Art Of Dialogue. “🤦‍♂️LMAO 😆Brother Love, show some love. Damn should have just sent this fool a few dollars.,” Fif wrote on Instagram alongside the video. It’s clear that Fif has no love for the man recently charged with 2Pac’s murder last month. Fif and Pac may have had their differences, but he clearly feels strongly about Keefe and the potential involvement of Diddy.

It’s far from the first time that Fif has taken aim at the pair. Earlier this week, Fif doubled down on his assertion that Diddy was two-faced and “got 2Pac killed”. That n-gga hug you from the front and the back at the same time? Fuck you talkin’ ’bout? I mean, if you into that, you into that. I’m fine with it. I’m just saying this ain’t my motherfuckin’ kind of party. I am uncomfortable. I think I belong in the girl’s bathroom,” Fif mused.

2Pac And Biggie Murders Connected, Former Case Detective Claims

A former Las Vegas PD detective has given credence to the long-standing conspiracy theory that the murders of Tupac and Biggie were connected. Clifford Mugg testified at the grand jury that went on to indict Duane “Keefe D” Davis. “[People] associated with both murders were involved. [The] theory was accurate that they were related,” Mugg said in relation to the theory that the murders were connected.

Furthermore, 2Pac was killed in September 1996 in the drive-by shooting that Keefe D has now been arrested for. Meanwhile, Biggie was killed, also in a drive-by, in March 1997. In this testimony, however, Mugg clarified that while he believed the murders to be linked, he did not believe them to be perpetrated by the same person. Additionally, the idea that they were connected has been a long-standing theory given their famous West Coast-East Coast beef.

2Pac And Biggie Were Looking To End Feud Before Pac’s Death

However, rumors have recently been confirmed that 2Pac and Biggie were seeking to end their beef before 2Pac’s death. In an interview with AllHipHop, Mopreme Shakur, the brother of Tupac, confirmed rumors that Pac was recruiting Biggie to Thug Life. “There is some validity to that,” Shakur said. “Before things fell apart, Pac was a uniter. We knew we were from New York. We knew we were from the East Coast. And Pac liked to work with the best talent around. So, there was a period, there was a time when we was all cool. There was a time when Pac wanted Biggie to be part of the East Coast faction of Thug Life ‘cause we was kicking it with each other anyway. Pac wasn’t just a hater just to be hating. He liked [Biggie].”

Furthermore, in the same interview, Shakur hit back at the scrutiny his brother faced. “What Pac did was dare to fight. He dared to fight back, he dared to say something. He dared to question the police, and it comes with a certain amount of baggage.” Additionally, Keefe D was arraigned earlier this week in court.
