President Joe Biden Likely To Seek Reelection In 2024

President Joe Biden says he plans on seeking reelection in 2024. The 46th President spoke with NBC’s Today Show on Sunday prior to the annual Easter Egg Roll at the White House. Biden will have plenty of time to plan his campaign ahead of the election next November. Additionally, Biden says Vice President Kamala Harris is also likely to join him in seeking reelection. Seeking the highest offices in the land is certainly difficult. However, Biden is likely used to it by now. He won the Presidency in 2020 after a campaign impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, he had two successful runs for Vice President with Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012.

Although Biden did not make the announcement official, his 2024 run seems to be all but formality at this point. “I plan on running … but we’re not prepared to announce it yet,” he said. Moreover, the decision to seek reelection was heavily hinted at earlier this year by Biden’s wife. First Lady Jill Biden stated that her husband still had work to do during a speech in February. Meanwhile, Biden’s top advisers are also preparing for the campaign season. One person close to the administration told NBC News that the decision has already been made. “The decision part is over, but he resents the pressure to have to announce what he’s already decided,” the source said.

Joe Biden Plans Reelection Bid During Uncertain Time

Moreover, If and when Biden does confirm his run for 2024, it will hardly be surprising. It is extremely rare for first term Presidents to not seek reelection. In fact, only three first-term Presidents have chosen to forego a re-election bid, President Lyndon B. Johnson was the last to do it in 1968. Meanwhile, Biden would enter his 2024 campaign at an uncertain time. Mounting inflation has caused poll numbers to dip. Moreover, polling numbers for former President Donald Trump have increased following Trump’s arrest last week.

However, Joe Biden would be the overwhelming favorite in the Democratic primaries in 2024. Presently, the only other major Democratic figure to announce their campaign is activist and self-help author Marianne Williamson. Therefore, Biden and Trump may very well end up having a rematch of their 2020 election showdown. Biden has seen support from celebrities such as Cardi B, Rihanna and John Legend. We will see if this support can help him to another victory next November.

Swae Lee Says He Would Choose Trump Over Biden In The 2024 Election: ‘He Freed Kodak, He Freed Wayne, He Tapped In’

Former President Donald Trump may not have the stamp of approval from the late rapper Tupac’s family, but he did earn one from Rae Sremmurd’s Swae Lee. During an interview on the Bootleg Kev Podcast, while discussing Slim Jxmmi’s move to Miami, Florida, the conversation took a right turn into politics.

Lee shared that the main reason he moved to Miami and eventually convinced Jxmmi to follow him was the tax benefits. “It’s tax-free — so, you’re making a lot of money, but you’re giving half of your money to Uncle Sam,” said Lee before diving into his disdain for Biden’s allocation of American tax dollars.

“You’re giving half of your money away to Joe Biden for him to send that sh*t over to another country,” declared Lee, referring to American financial aid to Ukraine, “He got [Ukraine straight before he got his own country straight. I don’t really agree with that.”

When the host asks if he would vote for Trump if he decided to run for re-election in 2024, Lee answers, “If I had to choose between the A and the B, I’d definitely go with Trump over Biden for sure.”

As the camera panned to Slim Jxmmi to document his answer, he said, “I choose not to speak on politics.”

To which the host responds, “You’re a smart man.”

Lee goes on to add that taxes weren’t the only thing that played a part in his decision. “He freed Kodak [Black]. He freed Wayne. He tapped in.” Lee’s comments referred to Trump’s providing rappers Kodak Black and Lil Wayne with presidential pardons near the end of his term.

Black took to Twitter to thank Trump after his release, writing, “I want to thank President Donald Trump for his commitment to justice reform and shortening my sentence,” following the release of his song, “Last Day In.”

Kanye West’s 2024 Campaign Has Received Zero Donations: Report

Kanye West’s 2024 presidential campaign has yet to receive a single official donor. The news comes from a filing submitted Monday which was obtained by The Daily Beast. The campaign, officially registered as “Kanye 2020,” also reported spending $142,000 in expenses over the last three months of 2022.

While West hasn’t officially filed his candidacy with the FEC, he’s been vocal about planning to run for president in 2024. Back in November, he posted a video on Twitter, revealing that he had asked former President Donald Trump to be his running mate.

“I think the thing that Trump was most perturbed about, me asking him to be my vice president. I think that was like lower on the list of things that caught him off-guard,” Ye said in the video. “When Trump started basically screaming at me at the table telling me I was going to lose — I mean has that ever worked for anyone in history. I’m like hold on, hold on, hold on, Trump, you’re talking to Ye.”

At the time, West was working with Nick Fuentes as well as Milo Yiannopoulos. The filing reports two payments for Yiannopoulos: one for $9,955 and another for $40,000. Ye also paid Fuentes $9,026.46 and $5,693.41 in travel reimbursements. West later reportedly fired Yiannopoulos, who had been working as a campaign manager for the rapper.

The political failing also comes after a string of erratic behavior from Ye, who praised Adolf Hitler and made numerous other antisemitic remarks. If Kanye West continues with his 2024 campaign, it will be the second time he runs for president. His last campaign, in 2020, finished with just 60,000 votes.

Afroman Plans To Run Against Trump & Ye In 2024 Presidential Campaign

The 2024 presidential election is shaping up to be a wild ride. Biden will fight for a second term while Trump is apparently trying to lead the Republican party back into the Oval Office. However, it seems like there’s another candidate that everyone should look out for: Afroman.

Per TMZ, the “Because I Got High” rapper announced his presidential run during a Poplar Bluff, MO. During his show at the Black River Coliseum, he told the audience that he’ll be getting into politics with hopes of being the next POTUS.

“Can I make the biggest announcement I ever made in my life?” he asked the audience to roaring applause. “I’m running for president in 20-20-fro! We gonna get legal weed everywhere.”

Afroman’s platform is as obvious as can be. The man who made one of the greatest stoner anthems of all time said that he plans on legalizing cannabis on a federal level for recreational use — an act that Biden’s failed to do since he entered office.

“I AM RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA !! VOTE FRO, TWENTY TWENTY FRO!!” Afroman captioned the post.

In another video on his IG page, he doubled down on his plans to enter the presidential race. “It’s the hungry hustler of the American Dream, Afroman. I’m running for president is 20-20-fro. I’m gonna get recreational cannabis legal in all states. I need your vote.”

It’s easy to dismiss the video as being a joke but members of Afroman’s team told TMZ that he’s series about his campaign. Though it’s apparent that he’s passionate about legalizing cannabis on a larger scale but he hasn’t mentioned his stance on any other issues, whether domestic or international. His team also said that he’ll be running as an independent candidate.

Afroman’s yet to file the appropriate paperwork but his team says he’s in the process of filling it out.
