Cam’ron Says There’s A Lot Of Interest In Buying His Sports Show

Cam’ron says that he’s had numerous parties express interest in purchasing his new sports talk show, It Is What It Is. Providing an update on the series on Instagram, earlier this week, Cam’ron explained that the show is fully funded by him.

“A lot of n****s hollering at me trying to buy my show and make my show a part of what they’re doing. And listen, I appreciate the love,” he said in the clip, before adding, “I appreciate the interest and everything else. This is fully funded by me. I ain’t gonna get no help, I ain’t got no partners. I ain’t got no bank that came and did all this shit.”

Cam’ron launched It Is What It Is earlier this year after teasing the series for months. On the show, he discusses all things sports, but most recently, he’s made headlines for calling out Brooklyn Nets guard Ben Simmons. During a new episode, he admitted that he’s likely going to lose a bet with Ma$e that Simmons would average 10 points per game this season. “Ben Simmons, at this point, you costing me money. I don’t know where you gonna go, but get the fuck out of New York,” the rapper said. “Personally, we don’t really want you around. You’re a disgrace. Philly, y’all are suckas for shipping him over to us. Y’all can take him. Personally, you fucked your whole stock up. I don’t know anybody that want you, but you can leave New York. You costing me money.”

Cam’ron isn’t the only Dipset member that’s interested in moving into TV. Jim Jones also recently teased that he wants to make a series about the group’s iconic run in the 2000s. “You got a talk show. I’m about to give you the Dipset 5H TV series,” Jones told DJ Self. “I think I’m a do that ’cause the shit that went on in 5H before we became the players we were, you n****s need to see. We was reckless. Young, dumb, and stupid, but we was having a ball.”
