Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT “Fireberry” Drops Soon: Official Photos

Perhaps one of the most popular shoes of the last 35 years has been the Air Jordan 1 and during that time, it has received a plethora of new colorways and even some unique iterations along the way. From FlyEase to zippers, the Air Jordan 1 has never been afraid to experiment, and one of the latest innovations to make its way to the shoe is Zoom cushioning in the midsole. This has led to the Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT, which has received a plethora of new models over these past few months.

The latest colorway to be introduced is this “Fireberry” offering which can be found below. While the base of the shoe is black, Jumpman decided to get very vibrant and colorful with this particular offering as we have dark pink across all of the overlays. There is also some orange sticking out in the back heel where we have the extra material from the cuff. Overall, it’s a unique-looking shoe that should definitely catch a few eyes out there.

A release date has not been revealed for these, although they should be out soon so keep your eyes peeled to your local sneaker shop for details. Let us know what you think of these, in the comments below.

Air Jordan 11 “Cool Grey” Set To Receive Price Increase

Every single year around December, Jordan Brand comes out with a brand new release of the Air Jordan 11. These releases are either a new colorway or a retro of a classic model. In 2021, it seems like Jumpman will do both thanks to a women’s animal print model, as well as the return of the Air Jordan 11 “Cool Grey” which officially turns 20 years old this year.

In the Instagram post below, you can see that the “Cool Grey” model will look exactly like its original iteration. In fact, the upper portion of the shoe will be made with nubuck, all while the leather that is found wrapped around the silhouette is made of patent leather. All-in-all, it’s a pretty incredible retro that is surely going to get all of the hardcore Air Jordan 11 fans excited. After all, the Jordan 11 is one of those shoes that will forever be iconic and perhaps December will be as good a time as ever to cop your first pair.

As for the release date, these will drop on December 11th for a slightly higher price than usual. Air Jordan 11s are typically $220 USD but now, they will be going for $225 USD. It’s not a big increase but it is an indication of a trend that dates back to Jordan 1s going from $160 to $170.

The Weeknd Has New Music Coming Soon — But It Will Be Released As An NFT

With his 2020 album After Hours, The Weeknd has proven that he knows how to dominate the charts. Now, he’s looking to dominate the world of cryptocurrency art. The singer announced Friday that he’s planning on releasing new music soon. But instead of sharing a song on streaming services, he’s instead making it available as an NFT.

The singer took to Twitter to share the news. “new song living in NFT space. coming soon…,” he wrote.

The Weeknd didn’t offer much information about exactly what the NFT entails, but he’s far from the first musician to break into the industry. Earlier this week, Ja Rule was able to make good on his Fyre Festival scandal by selling a painting of the event’s logo as an NFT for $120K. Grimes also made an eye-catching amount of money on the NFT market. The musician released an entire collection of digital art through an NFT auction, and ended up making $6 million in under 24 hours.

While The Weeknd may be breaking into new territory with his first-ever NFT, he’s also leaving behind some more traditional aspects of the music industry: namely, the Grammys. After he was snubbed for a Grammy Award this year, The Weeknd recently announced that he would be boycotting the ceremony going forward. The singer said that he will no longer submit his music for Grammy consideration by the Recording Academy “because of the secret committees.”

Nike Air Foamposite One “White-Hyper Royal” Coming Soon: Photos

For years, the Foamposite has been one of the most enigmatic shoes in all of streetwear culture. Penny Hardaway made the shoe famous and it immediately became a fashion staple on the East Coast. Over the years, there have been some iconic colorways although, at times, the popularity of the sneaker has dwindled. Regardless, there are still some diehard Foamposite fans out there and whenever a new offering is introduced, the fans make sure to do everything in their power to cop it.

Now, thanks to @zsneakerheadz on Instagram, we have a fresh look at the Nike Air Foamposite One in a colorway that has been labeled as “White/Black/Hyper Royal/Black.” In the post below, you can see that the shoe has a mostly white upper, while the cuff and tooling that comes down over the laces are black. From there, we have some hyper royal blue that is placed into the middle of the laces, which helps add some nice contrast to the overall look of the shoe.

For now, these are being teased for April of this year which means they are a few weeks to a month away. We’re sure more official details will be dropping soon, so keep it locked to HNHH for all of the latest details.

Phil Jackson Empathizes With Trump Following Knicks Failures

Phil Jackson was a beloved coach with the Chicago Bulls and the Los Angeles Lakers, however, his time with the New York Knicks is not remembered fondly. As an executive with the team, Jackson rubbed many people the wrong way and the franchise never saw any real success. Eventually, Jackson was let go and he hasn’t worked with an NBA team, since.

Recently, Jackson was on “The Curious Leader” podcast where he spoke about his experience and just how unpleasant it was. Jackson mainly blames the media for his failures, claiming that reporters wanted the Knicks to be bad and that it all eventually bled into the team. From there, Jackson even compared his experiences to those of Donald Trump.

“One, you had a media that was decidedly against the organization, and they were looking for whatever they can do to throw aspersions on the organization,” Jackson said. […] “And I kind of understand what Trump had to live with probably for his first three-and-a-half years of office with media in just the very short term of being in that seat with the Knicks.”

If you’re a Knicks fan, these comments aren’t going to be very popular, especially when you consider how things ended between Jackson and the franchise. There is no real excuse for his failures, and comparing himself to Trump comes across disingenuous.

Lou Williams Admits He Almost Retired After Trade To Atlanta

Lou Williams was traded to the Atlanta Hawks yesterday in a massive deal that brought Rajon Rondo to Los Angeles. Virtually no one in the NBA was expecting a deal like this to go down although in the end, it happened and both teams are better off for it. Despite all of this, it appears as though Williams felt slighted by the trade, and almost retired from the game of basketball as a whole.

In a recent post to Instagram, Williams said he poured a lot of heart into the Clippers organization and the trade felt disrespectful. After receiving a ton of praise and support from his fans, Williams had a change of heart and noted that he wants to make the most of his time in Atlanta.

“Yea, so I thought about retiring yesterday. You give so much to an organization and you wake up and boom, it’s no more,” Williams wrote. “Then in true clipper nation fashion I was reminded that my talent and contribution was appreciated and It made me reflect on what’s to come. There’s plenty left in my tank and I’m privileged to continue my career in my backyard. LA, thank you. Love you. Appreciate you. Great times and memories!!! ATL, LouWillVille. Mr. Williams, welcome home.”

The Hawks are a work in progress but as it stands, they are firmly in a playoff spot which means Williams has an opportunity to help this team achieve some goals no one thought possible at the beginning of the year.

Lil Nas Takes A Victory Drink From One Of His Grammy Awards

Today, Lil Nas X returned with his long-awaited pop-crossover “MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name),” the Atlanta rapper’s first single since last November’s “HOLIDAY.” Along with the song, Lil Nas X also shared one of the most talked-about music videos in a while, since perhaps the highly suggestive “Throat Baby (Remix)” video from BRS Kash. Regardless of the backlash that the “MONTERO” video has been receiving from conservatives, it appears that the early reception of Lil Nas X’s new single has been overwhelmingly positive, so it only makes sense that the “Old Town Road” artist would take a moment to celebrate.

In the clip archived by DJ Akademiks, Lil Nas X is seen pouring some champagne into one of his Grammy trophies before taking a much-deserved sip. Last year, Lil Nas X took home two Grammys thanks to the success of “Old Town Road,” one for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and another for Best Music Video. Now, according to Akademiks’ post, it appears that Lil Nas X is following in the recent footsteps of Blue Ivy Carter and celebrating his success by taking a drink from his esteemed Grammy trophy. By taking his victory sip, Lil Nas X has officially joined the ranks of Certified Love Boy artist Drake and Blue Ivy’s father Jay-Z as one of the rappers who have notably turned their Grammy awards into drinking cups.

If you’re interested in seeing the music video that everyone has been talking about, check out the visuals for Lil Nas X’s new single “MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)” below.
