Lauren London Remembers Nipsey Hussle’s ‘Brave And Beloved Soul’ On The Two-Year Anniversary Of His Death

March 31 is a day that will forever remembered in hip-hop history: On that date in 2019, Nipsey Hussle was tragically shot and killed at his Marathon Clothing store in Los Angeles. His death shook the music world, leaving many to grieve a loss that came at the height of his career. On the two-year anniversary, his longtime girlfriend, Lauren London, took to Instagram to honor him.

“The Day Of Ermias’ transition changed the course of my life forever,” she wrote in the post. “2 years, and it feels like yesterday and eternity all at the same time. Grief and Healing have been constant companions on this journey.” She added, “In Honor of His life and demonstration… May all of Heaven exalt Your name for all You did on Earth and beyond. Brave and Beloved Soul, Ermias. You are missed deeply. You are loved immensely. You will forever be. I love you eternally,” before signing off on the message with “Your Boogie (blue heart emoji).”

A few weeks ago London shared the special contribution she made to Nipsey’s debut album, Victory Lap. “Fun fact: the voice that says ‘victory lap’ on the album is me,” she said in a post to her Instagram story. London can also be heard on another of the album’s tracks, “Real Big.”

Nipsey Hussle is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Matt Muse Unveils “Rockin'” & “Bridges” Singles

Chicago-based rapper Matt Muse is back in action with a brand new single pack titled, Matt Packs. The rapper’s latest effort includes two new singles including “Rockin’,” a jazzy and passionate record featuring Sheren Olivia and Renzell, as well the moody bar-heavy record, “bridges.” The rapper explained his latest two singles are a product of him finding joy in writing again.

“I found the joy in just writing raps to write them again as opposed to creating toward a set goal,” he said in a statement. “Now, I’m back in my bag. I’ve found joy in making music for the sake of creating something I love and hopefully toward sparking something in the listener as opposed to creating to get on or whatever other reason. I’ve realized that as an artist, I have the power to be a messenger for the times that my people are living in, a voice to cement this time in history and share the stories of those on the ground fighting for what’s right.”

Vince Staples Assists Tiana Major9 On “Real Affairs (Remix)”

It’s been less than two months since Tiana Major9 released her new album, Major Mantras which has been doing quite well. It’s arguably one of the best projects to drop this year but even with a February release, it seems that she has more in store for her fans. Tiana’s currently gearing up for the release of Sixes And Sevens Remixed. The singer unveiled the remix to “Same Space” ft. SiR just a few weeks ago and now, she’s back with the release of “Real Affair (Remix)” featuring Vince Staples.

Jada Pinkett Smith Admits To “Two Times” She’s Been “Infatuated With Women”

There were plenty of confessions being made during this week’s episode of Red Table Talk. Viewers of the Facebook Watch series tune in to listen to Jada Pinkett Smith, her daughter Willow, and grandmother Adrienne Banfield-Norris banter about pop culture topics, and this week, actress Niecy Nash paid them a visit. Last year, Nash surprised her fans by marrying a woman, and she discussed how the relationship with her wife is the first same-sex romance she’s entertained. Willow Smith has previously stated that she’s attracted to women, and Jada revealed that she’s had a few experiences in the past.

“I’ve had my fair share of, like, swooning and feeling like, ‘Oh my God. She’s so beautiful. She’s so talented,’ this and that,” said Jada. “I’ve swooned a lot, I will say that…I’ve had two times I’ve been infatuated with a woman.” The actress added that she was in her early twenties during those times but didn’t name names.

Willow chimed in and said, “I don’t feel like I’ve been in love with a woman just yet, but I definitely feel like it could happen, because I’ve had very strong feelings for women before.” She also told her mother that if her parent’s marriage ever failed, Willow could see Jada in a relationship with a woman.

Gammy, on the other hand, admitted to thinking about same-sex coupling, but she realized she’s just not attracted to women in that way. However, she did say that she is interested in exploring the possibilities of a threesome. “I just never allowed myself to even experiment with it. And I know I’ve thought about, ‘Oh wow, a threesome might be really enjoyable,’ but just could never,” said Adrienne.

“You know how I was raised, with all that guilt and shame around sex, so I definitely didn’t have the freedom to consider it, as far as love is concerned,” she continued. Check out a clip of Red Table Talk below.

Princess Nokia Talks Her Sh*t On “It’s Not My Fault”

OnlyFans became a pop-cultural phenomenon last year, just as the pandemic hit. Though the platform already brought in tons of content creators onto their platform, it also became a useful resource for many who were out of work. Despite the criticism, there’s evidently enough people who are bringing in big bucks from the number of subscribers they’re racking in.

On Friday, Princess Nokia delivered a definitive anthem for the platform with her latest single, “It’s Not My Fault.” Accompanied with a Jennifer Lopez-inspired visual, Nokia delivers a bass-heavy record with a chant-like hook to empower all the ladies getting their guap off of the Internet.

This video was inspired by jlo breakout video “If you had my love”. Thank you for Jennifer for your endless inspiration, and iconic career. Words could never say how much I love your work and legacy.Thank you Paul Hunter for giving us your blessing to recreate this beautiful piece of art,” she said of the visual.

French Montana Hops On Bizzy Crook’s “Dios Mio (Remix)”

Miami’s Bizzy Crook has been rising the ranks of the rap game over the past decade. The rapper’s ’84 and No Hard Feelings became early fan favorites and he’s kept the momentum up with at least one new project each year since 2018. The rapper’s prolific output extended throughout the pandemic with records like “Rich & Damages” and “Dios Mio” that both landed on his latest body of work, From Me, to you.

“Dios Mio” has been an undeniable club smash so who better than French Montana to assist on the remix? Bizzy Crook taps French Montana to breathe new life into the J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League-produced record. Arriving just in time for the summer, don’t be surprised if you hear this song everywhere over the next few months.

Bobby Shmurda Hasn’t Released First Day Out Track Due To Label Issues: Report

He’s enjoying his first months as a free man, but fans are still waiting on Bobby Shmurda’s “First Day Out” release. It’s a customary tradition in Hip Hop and tracks often arrive with a week or two of someone being released from custody, however, Shmurda’s camp has been silent. The “Hot N*gga” rapper was granted parole last month and immediately was swept back into the Rap scene and according to Two Bees TV, Shmurda is dealing with label issues.

According to the report, Bobby Shmurda is signed to Epic Records and was slated to have released his debut project before going off to prison six years ago. However, Roc Nation allegedly wants Shmurda on their team, but before he can switch label lanes, it was suggested that he may need to fulfill his prior obligation. Shmurda, Epic, nor Roc Nation has confirmed or denied the report.

Two Bees also states that when they spoke with Shmurda back in 2016 while he was still incarcerated, the rapper revealed that his ace Rowdy Rebel was dropped from Epic after releasing their “Computers” collaboration. It’s unclear if Shmurda is looking to lock down Roc Nation management or jump Epic’s ship altogether, but Jay-Z and Co. are not messing around when it comes to stacking their roster.

Lil Nas X’s “Montero” Is Aiming To Debut At #1 On Billboard Hot 100

Love him or hate him, Lil Nas X’s marketing plan worked. On Friday, the rapper released his latest single, “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” as well as its accompanying visuals. The song is an infectious, upbeat bop that arrived just in time for the spring but it’s the music video that raised hell, literally. Right-wing pundits and conservative talking heads were furious to see Lil Nas X slide down a pole into the depth of hell only to give Satan a lapdance, snapped his neck, then took his horns.

The entire rollout for this song and video is seemingly as effective as one would expect. Despite the blowback from the visuals, it seems like many have had the song on steady rotation over the past few days, especially as chart data predicts its debut on the Billboard Hot 100. It looks like Lil Nas X could score his second #1 hit record on the charts.

Fans who’ve been streaming the record could earn themselves a personal gift from Lil Nas X. The rapper took to Twitter to encourage his followers to keep supporting the song, writing, “if call me by your name goes number 1 i’m buying all my followers a 12 pack of hanes socks.”

With the success of his latest single, it looks like we should expect his debut album to arrive later this year.

Summer Walker Looks For A Career Change: “I Legit Hate This Job”

Fans often want to know all details of a celebrity’s personal life, but not everyone wants to share. Summer Walker is known in the industry as a reserved person and she’s previously told the public that she has social anxiety, but still, people steadily demand that she opens up to them. The singer has made it clear that her life is her business and she doubled down on that sentiment on Wednesday (March 31).

The new mom decided to close out the month of March with an announcement on her Instagram Story. “I legit hate this job,” she penned. “Lol why can’t I just put out music w out stalkers being obsessed with my private life. I need to start figuring out my next job.” She didn’t specify what career she’d tackle outside of performing, but considering she announced the launch of Ghetto Earth Records, an imprint of Interscope, back in December, Summer Walker has been making business moves behind the scenes.

Recently, Walker and producer London On Da Track welcomed their first child together, a daughter. Fans have asked for Walker to post photos of her newborn, but the singer said she doesn’t intend on sharing images of her child online
