Quotable Lyrics:

I been through too much just to live like this
Double up my cup, you can’t sip like this
I fill my pockets ’til they stuffed so they fit like this
Now she know I’m up ’cause I drip like this
I won’t give a f*ck, let it rip like this
Hop up in my truck and I whip like this
And now they know I’m up ’cause my wrist like this
No, I can’t get enough ’cause I’m sick like this, yeah

Young Buck Returns With “Back On My Buck Shit Vol. 3”

Just when you thought Young Buck was about to take a breather following the release of Vaccine, the Cashville lyricist has returned with yet another project. This time, he’s opted to revisit a long-running series with Back On My Buck Shit Vol. 3, executive produced by Drumma Boy and featuring appearances from Boosie, Berner, Sada Baby, and Tee Grizzley. It also happens to include his recent single “Ash Tray,” an emotional reflection on his time rolling with 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, and Lloyd Banks.

Though G-Unit is no more, many fans still hold the crew’s legacy in high regard, and much of that respect has carried over to Buck himself. After all, he remains the lone member to retain a steady output of new music, and his rapping ability remains as sharp as ever. Not to mention his versatility, as he blesses a variety of different production styles throughout the project, be it hard-hitting Southern bangers or more atmospheric vibey cuts. Should you be on board with everything Buck is bringing to the table, don’t sleep on Back On My Buck Shit Vol. 3 — available in full right here.

Lil Uzi Vert & JT Continue Their Strange Love Story

For months, people have been confused about the nature of Lil Uzi Vert and JT’s relationship. Are the two rappers dating? Or are they just trolling us into believing they are? They’ve had some strange moments on the internet, insulting each other before seemingly making up on multiple occasions. On Thursday, Uzi sent off a tweet about how he allegedly bought the rapper’s first-ever Birkin bag, which she later denied wasn’t shade, despite her fans thinking it was. That prompted a heated exchange between JT and her fans on Twitter before she closed out the night with another back-and-forth with her rumored beau.

“Turnt a hoe to a house wife,” wrote Uzi Vert in a since-deleted tweet. “Turnt a trick to my husband,” said JT, mirroring the post and keeping hers up. People reacted negatively to the posts, which got her to address the elephant in the room.

“Y’all use to be in the comments calling him adorable y’all just don’t like me or feel he suppose to be with a weirdo or white girl but nah he with me,” proudly declared JT. “A ghetto b*tch getting that rock Star check f*ck what y’all gotta say! Honestly.”

Do you think JT and Uzi make a nice couple? The world hasn’t seen much of them together, only paying attention when they’re bickering on social media, but they definitely seem to like each other.

Freddie Gibbs & Madlib Drop Off “Piñata Deluxe”

When it comes to the best albums of the past decade, it’s not uncommon to see Freddie Gibbs and Madlib’s collaboration album Piñata, originally released in 2014 and featuring appearances from Raekwon, Ab-Soul, Earl Sweatshirt, Danny Brown, Meechy Darko, and many more. Now, with Gibbs’ acclaim and recognition at an all-time high, the rapper has come through with a substantial revisitation of the project with a five-disc Deluxe Edition.

While there isn’t exactly much in the way of new material, Piñata Deluxe features Freddie’s remix of Kanye West’s “No More Parties In L.A,” appropriately retitled as “Cocaine Parties.” In addition, disc two features bonus cuts and their instrumentals, disc three features an entirely instrumental version of Piñata, disc four includes the album as remixed by Alex Goose, and disc five features another dose of Alex Goose remixes. Not exactly new territory for Gibbs purists, but widening the scope of an artist’s streaming discography is never a bad thing. Should you be looking to revisit a modern classic, consider Piñata Deluxe as the perfect opportunity.

Tee Grizzley Continues The Saga With “Robbery Part 2”

Tee Grizzley is a man of many talents, and one of the most impressive tools in his kit remains his underrated storytelling ability. In fact, it’s part of what drew Timbaland to collaborate with the Detroit emcee in the first place. Today, Grizzley has come through to continue a prior saga with his new single “Robbery Part Two,” an explosive vignette that places the rapper directly in the midst of a bloody fray.

Insofar as a moral compass is concerned, Tee has no time for neither honor nor virtue. Instead, he uses brute force and intimidation to achieve his goals, yet his undeniable charisma makes it difficult to root against him. Even amidst the carnage, Tee Grizzley’s playful sense of macabre humor still shines through, though not at the expense of the tale’s urgency. What makes “Robbery Part 2” so enthralling is the fact that Tee isn’t speaking as an omniscient narrator, but rather the one directly driving the action.

Check out “Robbery Part Two” now.
