“Overjoyed to announce… the family is expanding,” Ne-Yo wrote on Instagram on Sunday (Feb. 21). “You ready baby? Let’s go!” The caption included a short video of the couple embracing in front of a mirror.

“This is why I love you,” Smith wrote on her account.

Saturday, Ne-Yo and Smith celebrated their anniversary.

“Today marks 6 years of marriage,” Ne-Yo said on Instagram. “It has been a bumpy beautiful, tragically terrific ride full of twists n’ turns, up’s n’ down’s…and I wouldn’t have it any other way. We’ve grown so much. With the understanding that we’ve still got some growing to do of course, I have to acknowledge how far we’ve come. I think once we both realized that marriage isn’t ownership…but partnership, we found our tempo, our melody. And now we’ve become a beautiful harmony. I pray we sing this song forever.

“You fell in love with a songwriter, so the words come easy and can be mistaken for pacification. But I love you like lungs love oxygen. So I’m gonna SHOW YOU as often as humanly possible.”

DaBaby has come under fire in the public eye for apparently dissing YouTuber Jojo Siwa in a new remix to “Beat Box,” which he previewed on Instagram Live. Fellow YouTubers Nikita Dragun and James Charles came to Siwa’s defense on Twitter, Sunday night.

Dragun responded on Twitter: “DaBaby don’t play with my girl Jojo Siwa. Put some respect on her name little boy.”

DaBaby debuted the new bars on Friday, with a music video, in which he holds up a photo of Siwa as he raps the lyric.

“Can someone please explain why da baby [sic] is dissing Jojo Siwa when she’s 12 years younger, 10 times richer, and 2 inches taller than him,” James Charles tweeted.

From there, Charles was involved in a back and forth in the tweet’s replies.

“Stay out black ppl business love we got this one,” one user wrote.

“A grown ass man is dissing a teenage girl for literally no reason this has nothing to do with race,” Charles responded.

Margaret Qualley Thanks FKA Twigs For Opening Up About Shia LeBeouf

Margaret Qualley, who dated Shia LaBeouf for a short period, has thanked FKA Twigs for speaking out about the actor’s allegedly abusive behavior. Speaking with Elle for a new cover story, Twigs further detailed her time dating LaBeouf and admitted she was “lucky” to have survived her relationship.

“Thank you,” Qualley captioned a picture of the magazine cover on Instagram.

LaBeouf has denied the allegations that have been leveled against him by Twigs, Sia, and other exes who have spoken out against him. It has recently been reported that the actor is in an inpatient program.

Twigs, reflecting on her time with LaBeouf, told Elle she is taking her life back: “I think it’s luck. I honestly wish I could say that I found some strength and I saw this light. I wish I could say, ‘[It is] a testament to my strong character,’ or ‘It’s the way my mother raised me.’ It’s none of that. It’s pure luck that I’m not in that situation anymore. It’s very fresh, for me, obviously. I know [this journey] is not going to be perfect. But I hope if I can make little steps, and people can see me taking my life back, it will inspire them.”

Gina Carano Defends Pedro Pascal Amid Disney Fallout: “I Adore Him”

Gina Carano of The Mandalorian fame, says that despite her tumultuous exit from the show, she does not have an issue with everyone at Disney. Carano recalls Pedro Pascal as being a friend who she adored.  Disney parted ways with Carano after she compared modern-day conservatives with the Jewish people during the Holocaust, as well as numerous other controversial posts on social media.

“I adore Pedro. I adore him. I know he’s said and done some hurtful things. I don’t think posting anybody’s number on social media is okay, ” she told Ben Shapiro of The Daily Wire, in reference to Pascal posting Senator Ted Cruz’s office phone number on Twitter in early January.

She continued: “But we had an agreement after we realized we were a little bit politically different. We had an agreement that, first and foremost, you’re a human being. And you’re my friend first.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Carano claims that Disney is guilty of “bullying” other conservatives: “I’ve been through so much, and I’ve seen so much now, clearly, of the bullying that’s been taking place, and I saw it before. I’m not the only one that’s ever been bullied by this company, and I know that so deeply. I could share a story which would turn things around in the media but I can’t because it would sell out a friend…Everyone is afraid of losing their job.”

Steve Kerr Admits Draymond Green “Crossed The Line,” Following Ejection

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr says Draymond Green “crossed the line,” following his ejection in the final moments of the team’s 102-100 loss to the Charlotte Hornets. Green reportedly shouted profanity at an official and was assessed his second technical foul of the game, resulting in an automatic ejection.

“He crossed the line,” Kerr said of Green, after the game. “That’s the main thing. We love his passion and his energy. We would not be the team we are without him, but that doesn’t give him license to cross that line, and he knows that.”

With the Warriors up 100-98, and just over nine seconds remaining in the game, Gordon Hayward and Green both fought for control of the ball and were tied up, but rather than resulting in a jump ball, officials awarded the Hornets a timeout.

“His first technical was assessed when he directed profanity at his opponent,” crew chief Marc Davis said, explaining Green’s ejection. “He was assessed his first technical foul for verbally taunting an opponent. He then proceeded to direct screaming profanity at a game official and received his [second] technical foul and was ejected as per rule.”

The Warriors are now 16-15 and in 8th place in the Western Conference standings.

DaniLeigh Continues To Shade DaBaby Post-Breakup

DaniLeigh has been spending an enhanced amount of time in headlines recently for some slightly unfavorable reasons. Last month, the 26-year-old came under fire after she previewed a new song called “Yellow Bone,” which many noted had colorist connotations. Following the extended controversy surrounding that, she broke things off with DaBaby, which earned her even more flack on social media since she used her relationship with the rapper to defend her use of the term “Yellow Bone.” After previously throwing shade towards the “Bop” rapper’s way, she came through with another shady message likely aimed at her ex about actions men do to show don’t care for you.

Resharing a post of a screenshot of a Nicki Minaj tweet in her story, the tweet reads: “Dear all of you beautiful souls. A man who loves you does not: 1. Humiliate you on social media 2. Beat you 3. Cheat on you 4. Call you out your name/put you down to lower your self-esteem due to his own insecurities. 5. Hide his phone, passwords, where abouts, etc.”

DaniLeigh simply added an additional, cryptic “Right” to the shared posts, with no other context.

While she did not directly name her famous ex in the post, she seems to be suggesting the rapper may have done one or more of the things listed out by Nicki.

DaBaby has yet to speak out publically about the split with the “Easy” singer, and it’s likely he won’t anytime soon.

LightSkinKeisha Is On Their Necks On “FDH”

You can’t know LightSkinKeisha’s hustle. Over the past few years, she’s created a solid following for herself independently but 2020’s run was an impressive one. She dropped off Talk That Talk before sliding through with Clones that included a feature from Blac Youngsta. She’s been laying relatively low since the September release but it appears that she’s revving up for a new campaign now that we’re in a new year.

Given the recent news of divorces and break ups in hip-hop, LightSkinKeisha couldn’t have picked a better time to release her new single, “FDH” which stands for Fuck Deez Hoes. It’s an upbeat, bass-heavy bop with a repetitive hook that’s bound to get stuck in your head at some point.

Check out the latest from her below.

Quotable Lyrics
Keisha, I don’t do kickbacks
Big zip, I don’t do nick bags
Twist the whole shit like a Zig-Zag
Bish want smoke? Let me hit that!

LeBron James Critiques Alex Caruso’s Failed Buzzer-Beater

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers have struggled over the last couple of games due to the fact that the team has been without their big man Anthony Davis. Davis is currently battling an Achilles injury and he most likely won’t be back until some time in the month of March. In the meantime, LeBron has to carry the team on his back, and last night, they lost again this time to the Miami Heat.

The final score was 96-94 and at the last second, James passed the ball to Caruso, who tried to tie up the game with a buzzer-beater. Caruso ended up bricking the shot, which led to a ton of ridicule on social media. After the game, LeBron spoke on the shot and what he wishes Caruso had done instead.

“I think the only bad thing about it is that he shot a long 2,” James said. “I wish he would have shot a 3 and, make or miss, I’ll live with that.”

In the clip above, you can clearly see Caruso’s feet on the line. Had he just stepped back a couple of inches, his game-tying attempt would have been a game-winning one. Regardless, there is no time for what-ifs in the NBA, and in the grand scheme of things, this game won’t affect the outcome of the Lakers’ season.
