Rick Ross Drops $3.5M In Cash On Former NBA Player’s Florida Estate

Rick Ross is building quite a portfolio in real estate. He’s been buying more and more land over the years but it’s his Georgia estate that previously belonged to Evander Holyfield that he has now dubbed the Belaire Towers. The rapper’s home became the backdrop for Coming 2 America starring Eddie Murphy, and even landed Ross a quick cameo.

Ross is now expanding the amount of real estate he owns with a brand new pad out in his home state of Florida. According to People, Ross just dropped $3.5M in cash to purchase former Heat player Amar’e Stoudemire’s estate in Fort Lauderdale. The rapper scooped the home up just four days after it was put on the market and reportedly paid for it in all-cash. Ross now holds the record for the fastest closing in the history of the Landmark Ranch Estates section.

“It’s a sprawling estate in a very secluded area,” Ross told the publication about his latest purchase. “From the moment I stepped inside, I appreciated the high ceilings and rich detail.”

Ross’s latest property spreads over 2.3 acres of land with a main house and a guest house that include 6 rooms altogether, seven bathrooms, nine-car garage, a hidden movie theatre, two offices, an indoor bar area with pool table, and a yoga room. There’s also a pool with a waterfall, and a summer kitchen for BBQs.

Tory Lanez Explains Creating His Viral Moments: “I Know What I’m Doing”

Say whatever you like about Tory Lanez because he’s feeding off of the energy. He was already generating a buzz due to his applauded contributions to the industry including his acclaimed Chixtape series, but it was the shooting incident involving Megan Thee Stallion that catapulted his name into international headlines. As the world debates who-did-what that fateful night, Lanez surfaced on Instagram with a cinematic explanation as to why he doesn’t give the negativity a second thought.

“I’ve never worried about what comes out in the news or whatever comes out about me because it’s like, my confidence is just so high,” said the singer. “I don’t even understand. When God was doing my attributes he definitely put like, extra stones in the confidence part. He was like, ‘Let me throw in three extra stones’—’cause my confidence is through the roof.”

I think it’s dope that I’m always on the news. People don’t understand, I have a thing with being viral. I know what I’m doing,” Lanez continued. “I know how to create moments. I know how to return a situation around. I know how to be a bigger man. I know when to pop my sh*t, but people forget, and sometimes they never understand that I know what I’m doing.”

We often praise 6ix9ine for knowing how to troll the world, but Lanez suggests that he may be the viral king. Check out the video below.

Eddie Murphy Admits “Sh*tty Movies” Led Him To Stop Acting

Eddie Murphy made his highly anticipated return to the silver screen with Dolemite Is My Name but it was only the beginning of a major comeback. On Thursday, the long-awaited sequel to the 1988 classic comedy Coming To America arrived on Amazon Prime, and fans rejoiced. It might not even be near as great as the original but it was still filled with some humorous moments, proving that Murphy still got it.

Unfortunately, the reason why he took a break from acting was due to a string of admittedly bad movies that he was involved in. By the end of 2010, he had earned the Razzie for Worst Actor of the decade following Norbit, The Adventures Of Pluto Nash, and Meet Dave. It was at that time that he realized he needed a break. “I was making shitty movies,” Murphy said on The Independent’s “WTF” podcast. “I was like, ‘This shit ain’t fun. They’re giving me Razzies…Motherfuckers gave me the ‘worst actor ever’ Razzie. [So I thought], ‘Maybe it’s time to take a break.’”

He said the initial plan was to take a break for a year but that turned into six real quickly. “I’m sitting on the couch, and I could sit on the couch and not get off it, but I don’t want to the last bunch of shit they see me do [to be] bullshit,” he continued, adding that the plan was to do DolemiteSNL, and Coming 2 America before returning to stand-up. “At least then they’ll know I’m [still] funny,” he said.

It’s unclear if he’ll be doing any stand-up routines soon but we are glad to see Murphy back into the fold. How are you feeling about Eddie’s return?

6ix9ine Uses Nipsey Hussle As An Example As To Why Snitches Aren’t Necessarily “Soft”

At this point, it’s apparent that Tekashi 6ix9ine is revving to be the most unfiltered rapper in the industry, and he’s leading the way toward that title. He’s often engaged in tit-for-tats with his fellow artists, and no matter what has occurred in pop culture, if Tekashi wants to weigh in with his opinion, he won’t hesitate. The rapper’s comments have the tendency to rub people the wrong way and it seems as if everyone has their own theories as to why 6ix9ine delivers aggressive commentary. His latest involved remarks that mentioned Nipsey Hussle, and the late rapper’s fans didn’t appreciate 6ix9ine’s mention.

Days ago, we reported on 6ix9ine partying on a boat with his team and several models. During the fun fest, someone in a smaller boat was filmed following and recording the controversial rapper. 6ix9ine is seen yelling at the person to move along—albeit, his delivery included a few expletives. Akademiks posted the clip of the interaction and after receiving criticism once again, 6ix9ine jumped in the comments with a message about snitching.

“To all you loyal rap fans just remember your favorite rapper only gangster in the studio they don’t get locked up for anything ‘gangsta,'” wrote 6ix9ine. “And just remember just because you snitched don’t mean u soft you see what happen to ya boy nipsey [shout emoji] the truth hurts.” This isn’t the first time 6ix9ine has spoken on rappers who have lost their lives to gun violence. He’s continued to verbal aim at Lil Durk over the loss of his friends and family members, including King Von.

600Breezy Claims 6ix9ine “Put” Police On Him: “He Is The Feds”

The return of Tekashi 6ix9ine was relatively lackluster. He embraced the whole snitching thing for a while but when he realized that didn’t work, it was back to the drawing board to figure out how to promote himself. He’s returned to antagonizing the rap game in the most disrespectful ways possible while claiming everyone else is clout-chasing.

Unfortunately, as many suspected all along, his antics seem to be a trap to lure rappers into being nabbed up by the feds. 600Breezy took to Twitter where he claimed that 6ix9ine “put” police on him after their little back-and-forth on Instagram. “Dude put police on me I been had a warrant for 3 weeks,” he wrote before sharing some advice to other rappers in the game based on his own recent experiences. “Leave buddy alone fr. It’s not a drill he is the feds,” he wrote. He didn’t mention any names but one fan replied, “He gotta be talking bout rat9ine.”

“1000%,” he responded.

Following 6ix9ine’s confrontation with Meek Mill and then his subsequent shots towards the late King Von, 600Breezy made it clear that he wouldn’t be tolerating any disrespect towards his dead friends. Tekashi 6ix9ine hasn’t responded to 600Breezy’s claims yet but he seemingly got his message across, loud and clear.
