Steven Adams Trolls Stan Van Gundy For Having Bad Breath

New Orleans Pelicans center Steven Adams trolled his head coach, Stan Van Gundy, following the team’s 116-82 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, Friday night. When asked for comment on his teammate Zion Williamson’s impression of Van Gundy, he remarked that the only thing it was missing was the “bad breath.”

“I mean, everything was on target, he just needs to have bad breath,” Adams told reporters. “Too far, right? Too soon? I guess Jaxson’s starting now, by the way.”

Van Gundy signed on to coach the Pelicans in October of 2020, replacing Alvin Gentry. Since taking over, the Pelicans haven’t exactly excelled. They currently ranked 12th in the Western Conference standings with a 16-22 record.

Throughout playing together, Williamson and Adams appear to have become a good fit. After the Pelicans acquired Adams in a trade in November, Williamson praised his game: “I thought I was strong, Seeing it up close, on the same team now, and it’s crazy. Steven is really strong and he’s a great basketball player.”

As a part of the trade, Adams signed a two-year, $35 million extension with the Pelicans.

The Pelicans will take on the Los Angeles Clippers in New Orleans, Sunday night.

“The Batman” Finally Wraps Up Production After COVID-19 Delays

The Batman was supposed to hit theaters this year, but the pandemic forced Warner Bros. to push back the release several times. Filming for the Robert Pattinson starring film was suspended for months, but it looks like things are finally back on track. According to Director Matt Reeves, The Batman is finally finished filming. He made the announcement on social media.

Jeffrey Wright, who is playing Jim Gordon, also tweeted out his appreciation for the film wrapping up. “Gordon out. …for now. One year exactly after the shutdown. Some ride,” he wrote, teasing a sequel. There is no doubt Warner Bros. wants to set this film up for a threequel, as is the case for many superhero franchises.

The Batman will star Robert Pattinson, Jeffrey Wright, Paul Dano, Colin Farrell, Andy Serkis, and Zoe Kravitz. Dano is set to play The Riddler in what looks like a brutal and violent take on Batman’s detective work. It would be the first time Batman will be portrayed as a detective more than simply a fighter.  Something about the way the first trailer is shot is making fans think the Hush storyline may be adapted for the film. Check it out below.

Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Mono Ice” Coming Soon: Best Look Yet

For the last few years, Kanye West’s Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 has been characterized by two materials. The first of which is Boost, which goes in the midsole. The other material is Primeknit, which is a material that many Adidas shoes have been using for quite some time now. Primeknit is placed on the upper and it is a stretchy material that forms to the top of your foot and makes for a very comfortable experience.

Now, it seems like an upcoming slate of 350 V2s will abandon Primeknit in favor of a translucent sheath.  The “Mono Pack” is supposed to drop in the summer and thanks to YankeeKicks on Instagram, we have a close-up look at the “Mono Ice” version, which as you can see, uses that translucent material. Overall, the shoe is mostly a light shade of blue, and it’s an aesthetic that many Yeezy fans have been waiting for.

Over the coming months, we will certainly be getting more teasers for the “Mono Pack” which is shaping up to be the most ambitious pack of 350 V2s in quite some time.

With this in mind, keep it locked to HNHH and let us know what you think, in the comments below.

Jimmy Hu$tle Returns With “Dumb Hustle II: Still Dumb”

Los Angeles rapper Jimmy Hu$tle is back with the second serving of his Dumb Hustle series. Dumb Hustle II: Still Dumb is a funky mix of hip-hop, soul, and trap that straddles the line between street music and radio relevancy. Running for 11 tracks, Dumb Hustle II: Still Dumb features guest appearances from Rhett George, A Smxth, Fly Boi Mall, So Ez, and Fedarro.

Jimmy often uses a raspy relaxed tonality that hypnotizes listeners into a sense of ease. Tracks like “Big Things” and “Major” give fans more of those chill vibes while “Let’s Go” and “STILL DUMB” breathe some turn-up energy into what is mostly a very laid-backed project. Dumb Hustle II: Still Dumb finds its strength in soulful production, but sometimes Hu$tle’s bars fall flat behind the instrumentals. Go stream Dumb Hustle II: Still Dumb everywhere now and let us know what you think below!

Damian Lillard Explains The Cons Of Going To A Big Market Team

Super teams and going to big markets seems like the thing to do these days in the NBA. As players look to chase rings and etch out their legacy, there are a few superstars who prefer to make a name for themself in the city they were drafted to. Damian Lillard is one of those stars as he had said time and time again that he will never leave the Trail Blazers to seek out a super team. Instead, Lillard would rather create a legacy where he is and that he is Portland for the long haul.

In a recent article from Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe, Lillard actually spoke about why joining a big market can be a bad thing. Essentially, Lillard believes it can be hard to build chemistry when you join a new team and that the expectations are so high that if it fails, moves could be made quicker than you would imagine. This would ultimately force the star to a third team, which leaves them back at square one.

“For every person that says I want to see him on the bigger stage and I want to see him go to a bigger market, of course those places have pros but nobody ever wants to talk about the cons,” Lillard said. “If you take that step and you go somewhere and it’s not where it seems to be and it doesn’t work out … or an injury happens and you haven’t established as much rapport with that team and they choose one guy over the next guy and now you’re traded to a third team.”

Perhaps the best example of this phenomenon is Russell Westbrook, who left the Thunder to join the Houston Rockets, only to be traded to the Washington Wizards a year later. Lillard doesn’t want that fate and as a result, you probably won’t ever see him in a jersey other than the Trail Blazers.
