It shouldn’t come as a surprise that the ultra-conservative state of Utah is attempting to place more prohibitions on pornography. It was recently shared that Utah governor Spencer Cox signed a bill that would place pornography filters on all cell phones and tablets sold in the state. Those against the legislation argue that this is a move that intrudes on free speech, but Gov. Cox doesn’t see things in the same light. The controversy has rangled in opinions from people of all backgrounds, including Cardi B who is often the center of conversations regarding explicit content and appropriate behavior.

“I respect everyone’s religion but Utah restricting porn and not regulating the disgusting things that happens in the FLDS .That cult is disturbing,” the rapper tweeted about The Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Restricting or banning pornographic images doesn’t come as a surprise to many Utah residents; Some counties prohibit the sale of alcohol and tobacco, and in some areas, you previously needed a membership to patronize bars.

Someone pointed that out to Cardi. “I understand that .I will understand if they restrict porn because the state is very religious,” she added. “However they allow soo much disgusting things out there that they claim is part of their religion and that’s MOLESTING CHILDREN …Look it up !”  Check out her tweets below and let us know if you believe prohibiting porn on cellphones and tablets is a First Amendment violation.

On the heels of the news that former President Donald Trump has launched a new website for the office of President 45, Kodak Black returns to lavish more praise on the Celebrity Apprentice star. Earlier this year, on his last day in office, Trump pardoned hundreds of people including Kodak Black who is more than appreciative to Trump for his freedom. On Tuesday (March 30), Kodak joined TMZ Live to boast about receiving clemency from one of the most controversial presidents in America’s history.

“I’m a real one, Trump’s a real one,” Kodak said in the virtual interview. “We Geminis. Pops, you know Pops, my lawyer [Bradford Cohen], I call him Pops like my daddy, know what I’m sayin’. He know Trump like that, so it’s like, Trump know what’s up. We both Geminis. His birthday two days after mine. He be down here and stuff. Palm Beach.”

The rapper interrupted his own thought to say he had something he wanted to show the TMZ Live hosts but it was downstairs. After hyping up the surprise, Kodak showed off his blue “Make America Great Again” baseball cap with Trump’s autograph. When he wasn’t speaking about Trump, Kodak addressed his plans for his music career. The Florida rapper revealed he’s recorded approximately 200 songs since being released from jail, calling the process “easy.”

“It’s just me taking my time and setting my future up,” the rapper added. “Not going back to prison, jail, or none of that type of stuff.” Check out the clip below.

Soulja boy hasn’t responded to the accusations that Nia Riley has made against him, but weeks after sharing that she allegedly endured physical abuse at the hands of the rapper, Riley returns. The recently released video showing Migos rapper Quavo engaged in a physical altercation with now-ex-girlfriend Saweetie has prompted several conversations, and Nia has sparked another. The former Love & Hip Hop Hollywood star, and daughter to music legend Teddy Riley, believes that people are going to dismiss the incident with Saweetie and Quavo just as they ignored her allegations.

“I know y’all don’t gaf about women bc my ex a whole ass abusive known clown and y’all still entertain him,” Nia tweeted. “If he can’t get cancelled no1 can.” Riley then shared images that showed the definition of the word “abuse” along with the “ProtectAllWomen” hashtag. “Let’s normalize NOT normalizing abuse,” she added.

Riley and Soulja Boy appeared on Love & Hip Hop together in the early seasons of the franchise and detailed their spiralling romance. He admitted to acts of infidelity as Nia stayed by his side. Between giving Lucifer a hell-throned lapdance and selling Satan-centered shoes, Lil Nas X has been kicking up dust over the last few days. His “MONTERO (Call My By Your Name)” music video has created a firestorm as people have lauded for the “canceling” of the young star. Lil Nas X has stated that he’s been preparing for the release of his “MONTERO” single for the better parts of nine months, suggesting that he was fully prepared for the backlash. He has been checking people left and right as they disagree with him, but FKA Twig’s video director has a bone to pick with the singer regarding his visual looking eerily similar to the star’s music video for “Cellophane.”

Out Magazine reports that director Andrew Thomas Huang had a few comments about Lil Nas X’s latest visual. “There’s no winning when this happens,” Huang reportedly wrote on his Instagram Stories. “Been copied before but this feels different… Consider the power you wield and the artists you harm when you capitalize on our blood, sweat, tears, and emotional labor.”

In his interview Time, the rapper mentioned Twig’s pole work in her “Cellophane” video, and Huang later told the publication that this goes far beyond Lil Nas X. “It put into perspective how small, indie artists like me and Twigs don’t really don’t make a lot of money, and our platform is limited because we’re trying hard to make challenging work.”

“When someone who is commercially successful makes work that lives so similarly next to ours and profits from it on such a massive scale, then I felt like I had to speak up.” Huang added, “I think Twigs and Lil Nas are both doing important work. The question is, who benefits from their work? The answer is record labels. The anger it stokes between artists just increases divisions between underrepresented artists. So I think there’s something larger and systemic here at work.”

This evening (March 30), Lil Nas X shared a post to social media where he honored Huang and Twigs for their previous work. “I was not aware that the visual would serve as a major inspiration for those who worked on the effects of my video,” he wrote in the caption. “I want to say thank u to twigs for calling me and informing me about the similarities between the two videos, as i was not aware they were so close.”

The ruckus regarding Malik Beasley’s romance with Larsa Pippen may have died down, but the legal battle with his estranged wife, Montana Yao, continues. The Minnesota Timberwolves star, 24, was captured on a date with Pippen, 46, last year and after the photo went viral, people began to speculate about their relationship. Yao came forward to say she was unaware that her husband was dating, but Pippen claimed Beasley and Yao had split and have been separated.

Beasley and Pippen put on a united front against the trolls and accusations of infidelity, and on Tuesday (March 30), new reports have surfaced regarding Beasley’s divorce. According to Us Weekly, Beasley is contesting the paternity of the two-year-old son he shares with Yao. “[The] results of those tests are unknown as of the date of this Order,” the court documents reportedly state.

“Montana’s taking Makai to get one tomorrow [March 31],” Yao’s rep told the outlet regarding the paternity test. “It’s comical for her that he has requested a paternity test because this entire time on social media he has claimed Makai to be his son and he knows it’s his son.” Unsubstantiated rumors have circulated that Yao may have cheated on Beasley with an NFL player.

Additionally, it’s also reported that back in December 2020, Yao requested $8,000 per month in temporary spousal support, but yesterday (March 29), that was denied. She will, however, reportedly receive $6,500 per month in temporary child support.
