Drake Stops To Give Eager Young Fan An Autograph

Never let anyone tell you that Drake doesn’t love the kids. As a man on the move, Drake is often stopped by screaming fans, and groupies, trying to get a moment with the Rap star. Drizzy is often flanked by security as he travels, but every now and then he takes a moment to pose for a few photos and sign autographs.

Not many can get close enough to the rapper to have a one-on-one moment, but a lucky mom and her young daughter did just that.

In a recent clip that surfaced online, Drake is seen quickly making his way out of a hotel with his entourage by his side. His awaiting vehicle is ready for takeoff, but the mother filming can be heard cautiously asking Drake to sign an autograph for her daughter. It’s obvious that they were waiting for him to make his exit because they have a vinyl of his 2016, No. 1 album Views in hand.

The little girl looked to be about Drake’s son’s age so he patiently took a moment to ink a special message on the record. He asked the little girl what her name was but her mother quickly answered, “America.” This unforgettable interaction will surely be talked about around the dinner table for some time.

Meanwhile, big moves are being made from Drake’s camp because the Certified Lover Boy truck was reportedly spotted making its way to Los Angeles. The countdown begins. Check it out below.

“Selena” Series Shows Beyoncé Meeting The Singer & Fans Can’t Believe It

A dramatized rendition of a real-life moment has social media buzzing. Selena: The Series is in its second season as the Netflix feature highlights late singer Selena Quintanilla-Pérez’s rise to fame and ultimately, the murder that shocked the world. The Texas-born Tejano singer was taking the music by storm in the 1990s but in 1995, she was shot and killed by her friend and fan club president, Yolanda Saldívar.

On the sixth episode of the second season, a scene captivated the BeyHive after an actress portraying Beyoncé, Solange, and mother Tina Knowles was featured. In it, it shows Beyoncé, a Texas native, at the mall with her family as she sees Selena and becomes star-struck.

Immediately, fans of both Selena and Beyoncé debated whether or not this was some made-up story because the two singers were from the same state, but a Google search quickly dispels any rumors. Beyoncé previously spoke about this in an old interview and detailed the story of being tongue-tied when she saw the singer.

“But I didn’t say much to Selena because I wasn’t a celebrity and I just say her and said ‘hello’ and kept it moving,” Beyoncé previously stated. “Definitely, growing up in Texas, I heard her on the radio and I think listening to her album, even though I didn’t know exactly what she was singing, it helped me in the studio with my pronunciation.”

“I think she is a legend and I admire her, and she was so talented. So, I’m very happy that—even though she didn’t know who I was. I’m still so  excited that I got that opportunity.” Selena’s influence is still felt near and far. Check out the clip, and the old interview of Beyoncé, below.

City Girls’ JT Says Lil Uzi Vert Gave Her $30,000 On Their First Date

While some romantic relationships in hip-hop have fallen apart, Lil Uzi Vert and City Girls’ JT have been going strong for the past few months. Their relationship saw some ups and downs in its early stages, but the pair was able to work things out. During a recent appearance with fellow City Girls rapper Yung Miami on Justin Combs and Just LaBoy’s new show Respectfully Justin, JT shared how her first date with Lil Uzi went.

“He had a bag full of money and I had a little Chanel bag and he was like, ‘Take as much as you can.’ I could only fit $30,000, and I was so mad,” JT said during the episode. She added that their time together included a trip to the Louis Vuitton and Taco Bell for a rather short date night due to JT needing to “be back to the halfway house,” which she stayed at between October 2019 and March 2020 following a conviction on identity theft and fraudulent credit card charges.

The City Girls rapper then showed some love to Lil Uzi for how great of a partner he is. “I don’t want to keep talking because it’s gonna seem like I’m bragging,” she said. I have a good man. I didn’t even know he was a good man. I was f*ckin’ with him for almost two years before I found out he was a good man.”

You can watch the full Respectfully Justin episode above.

Lil Uzi Vert is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Coco Austin & Daughter Chanel Adorably Pose In Matching Bathing Suits

A little mommy-daughter time is just what Coco Austin needed during these stressful days. The model and wife to Ice-T recently shared that one of her closest friends, Stacey Disney, had suddenly passed away. Austin revealed that she’s spoken to Disney just hours before and reported that contrary to the rumors that were floating around, Disney died of a heart attack that wasn’t treated quickly enough.

Austin described her friend as “the nicest, sweetest, gentle human being” who was “always laughing with great positive energy.” A day after reflecting on her friendship with Disney, Austin resurfaced on Instagram with her five-year-old daughter Chanel Nicole. The pair wore matching coral-colored swimsuits as the tot was all smiles standing poolside with her mom.

“Last week was a tough week for me but continued with my family trip and put a smile on my face for Chanel,” Coco Austin wrote in the caption. “Life is precious. Appreciate every moment.” Little Chanel often makes adorable appearances on her parents’ social media pages as the family of three—and their multitude of dogs—pose together for vacations, photoshoots, holidays, and much more.

Jaleel White Reveals He “Was Not Welcome” By “Family Matters” Cast

From 1989 to 1998, Family Matters dominated the television industry. Millions of people tuned in to watch the Winslows exchange quips with their nosy, nerdy neighbor Steve Urkel, and while the wholesome show exuded love and acceptance, Jaleel White is about to rock the boat with a few revelations. White portrayed the character of Steve Urkel from his adolescence into his young adulthood, and until today, people stop him to say his signature line, “Did I do that?”

In a clip from White’s upcoming appearance on TV One’s Uncensored, the TV star recalls not being accepted when he first came onto the series.

“I was not welcome to the cast at all,” said the actor. Urkel became the top-tier star of Family Matters, even though the character wasn’t slated to be a part of the cast. “It was supposed to only be a guest spot… One and done.” In an interview with Yahoo Entertainment back in February, White was asked if he would be open to a Family Matters reboot. The actor was unsure if Urkle would work today.

“Well, you know, I have some things that I would love to do with the legacy,” White said months ago. “I think the safest place to start with would be an adequate reunion if one were to be arranged… I personally don’t believe there’s a modern-day Urkel. I just– I don’t. That’s like saying, is there a modern-day Pee-Wee Herman or a modern-day Ed Grimly? You know, those characters are almost just burned in time. I don’t want to see it explored for what it could be now.”

Watch the brief preview of Jaleel White’s feature on Uncensored below. The episode airs this Sunday (May 9).

Azealia Banks Responds To Lil Baby’s Tweet: “It’s Your Own Stupidity”

Recently, Lil Baby had a few words about people getting into arguments over women, but Azealia Banks has a different take. “We gotta stop letting these females be the reason behind the beef !” Lil Baby tweeted over the weekend. The comment was met with polarizing responses, and one came from Asian Doll who said that men are often the ones who act dramatically.

Have fun making jokes, talking sh*t and doing business with one another , but just literally.”

Rubi Rose Denies Designer’s Claims That She Won’t Return Clothing

A Bad Girls Club alum is accusing Rubi Rose of keeping items that don’t belong to her. Often, stylists will partner with designers or stores to pull clothing for their celebrity clients. The items are worn on red carpets, in music videos, for photoshoots, during concerts, and more, and later the clothing is returned to its origins and everyone received a bit of publicity.

Bad Girls Club star JeLaminah Lanier claims that is exactly what happened with Rubi Rose and she publicly called out the rapper for not returning her Normal Culture clothing items. However, Rubi Rose doesn’t think this is her problem.

“Ok so I let a stylist friend of mine pull looks for @RubixxRose from my showroom. This was at the end of February, I keep asking for my stuff back and I’m getting the runaround and I don’t appreciate it,” JeLaminah wrote. “This girl even performed in my outfit. Never said thank you or acknowledged. Never acknowledged my brand. @RubixxRose I want my stuff back and I want it back today. You live in DTLA just like I do. On the same street to be exact. Run me my Normal Culture stuff. I’m tired of asking and practically begging at this point.”

“What’s sad is that I actually liked @RubixxRose. Very cute girl. But [in] this life have to do right or their will be consequences. At the very least when you performed, you coulda tagged my brand then. I wouldn’t have cared about when the other stuff was given back.” The rapper was made aware of JeLaminah’s complaint and commented that she’s not responsible.

“I don’t know shorty or her brand. Thank you for the clothes. You should talk to @thatssokhalil , I have nothing to do with that. I charge for promo, there must have been a mishap,” Rose responded. Check out the tweets below and let us know who you think is at fault.
