Grimes Claims She Was Hospitalized Due To A Panic Attack After “SNL” Appearance

Elon Musk wasn’t the only person in his family to make an appearance on Saturday Night Live. The Tesla mogul hosted last weekend’s episode of the longstanding sketch comedy show and it was a controversial look at best. Musk’s musician girlfriend, Grimes, also popped up on the show as she portrayed Princess Peach in a Mario Bros-centered sketch. The parents of one-year-old son X AE A-Xii enjoyed the opportunity to add their names to a legacy, but on Tuesday (May 11) evening, Grimes shared that she fell ill following filming.

On Instagram, Grimes uploaded a picture of herself in her Princess Peach costume while backstage with Miley Cyrus. “Forgot to post these cuz I somehow caused myself to have a panic attack and went to the hospital yesterday,” she wrote in the caption.

“Which tbh was quite scary and I suppose it’s a good time to start therapy,” she added. “But nonetheless – wowwwww @mileycyrus is good live and so chill! So grateful to the SNL team for being so kind and letting me sneak in as princess peach snd so proud of my beautiful E (which I know will upset the grimes fans so I apologize in advance) but he killed it.”

Meanwhile, little X AE A-Xii even got a mention on SNL after his parents joked that his name is pronounced, “Cats running across the keyboard.” Check out Grimes’s post below.

50 Cent Ruthlessly Teased By GF Jamira Haines With TikTok Trend

He’s typically the one who does the trolling, but 50 Cent is the one being teased this time around. Fif and his girlfriend Jamira Haines, also known as Cuban Link, have often playfully poked fun at each other, but she used a TikTok trend to get him in this latest round. The “This Is Your Man” TikTok trend was launched after an audio clip from The Steve Wilkos Show went viral. In the real episode of the show, Wilkos questions a woman who is enduring domestic violence from her lowlife boyfriend, and the host wanted to know why she stays with him.

“This is your man?” Wilkos asks her while pointing to a screen that shows her boyfriend backstage. She answers, “That’s mine.” Wilkos said, “And that’s what you’re gonna settle for.” She responds, “I’mma stick beside him.” The audio has become one of TikTok’s most popular trends, especially with couples who are trolling each other, and Jamira added her name to the list.

Haines used the photo of a sickly and emaciated 50 Cent from over 10 years ago when he was preparing for his role in the film All Things Fall Apart. The Rap mogul reportedly dropped 50 pounds for the part, and at the time, the images surfaced before an explanation was given. Several of Fif’s foes have used the photo to taunt him over the years, and now it’s his girlfriend’s turn to drop jokes.

Next to several crying laughing emojis Haines wrote, “I’m out the house after this one !! #sorrybabyhadtodoit.” Check out Haines’s post below

Nicki Minaj & Rihanna Wear Same Shoes In Photos & Fans Freak Out

Fandoms have united are have been endlessly speculating about Rihanna and Nicki Minaj. Yesterday (May 10), Nicki emerged from her break from social media with a nearly nude photo of herself alongside a cryptic message that revealed something big was happening on Friday. Today, Nicki returned with another photo, this time in full glam with a caption that reads as if it’s a set of bars.

“Btchs act like they want action, heard they want action, btch we aint duckin no action,” the rapper wrote. “I’m bout to giv’em dat traction, send a distraction— then ima line’em like FRACTIONS [writing emoji] F R I D A Y [fingers crossed emoji].” The Barbz went full-fledged crazy over the hint, but after Rihanna posted a new picture on her Instagram as well, people noticed a striking similarity to the Queen rapper’s image.

The Barbadian star seemed to be plugging her Butta Drop Whipped Oil Body Cream from her Fenty Skin brand, but she just happened to be wearing the same Bottega Veneta heels that Nicki Minaj was sporting in her picture. Of course, the similarity caused a firestorm of gossip on social media, and with both women being artists who tend to keep information about their releases close to the chest, their fanbases have kept the rumors running regarding a potential collaboration.

The conspiracy theories are rampant, especially after the two recently followed one another on Instagram. You can check out posts from both Rihanna and Nicki below, as well as some reactions from fans.

T-Pain & Kehlani Preview Collab On IG Live After He Chats With Mark Zuckerberg

His fans have been asking him for new music, and now that T-Pain has begun answering back those years-old DMs, he’s been hinting at upcoming collaborations. We previously reported on T-Pain discovering his DM request folder and discovering hundreds of messages from his famous friends as well as other celebrities looking to collaborate in some fashion. He’s spent the days since responding to those messages and just hours ago (May 11), T-Pain hopped on Instagram Live and even got Mark Zuckerberg to make an appearance.

T-Pain suggested that Zuckerberg switch things up to make sure that in the future, others don’t suffer the same experience he did. “I heard you were having some trouble with your DMs and I think I can help with that,” said Zuckerberg. He added that the request folder was implemented to rid users of bullying and spam, and Zuckerberg admitted that there are still some kinks to work out. “I just think, on principle, anytime Rihanna sends you a message, it should go into your main inbox.”

Other guests on T-Pain’s Livestream included Rich The Kid, who was grocery shopping, Lil Jon, Bun B, and Kehlani, who revealed that she and T-Pain have a new song dropping Friday. “This is like, on my bucket list,” said the singer. It seems that those DMs helped bring these two together. “If I could go back and tell my teenage self, ‘You gotta song with T-Pain,’ I’d probably die.”

T-Pain responded, “That makes me happy…man. Them damn DMs, man!” After graciously complimenting one another, T-Pain played the song in its entirety for viewers. Check out the hour-long Livestream below and listen to the track towards the end.

Tomi Lahren Co-Sign’s Caitlyn Jenner Bid For California Governor

California Governor Gavin Newsom has been facing backlash from conservative citizens and there has been a call to “Recall Newsom.” Caitlyn Jenner has lined up as someone who is ready and willing to take his place, however, not everyone is championing Jenner’s cause, especially following her controversial remarks about transgender inclusion in sports, her admission that she didn’t vote in the 2020 election, the accusations that Jenner was insensitive by complaining about California’s growing homeless population during a pandemic, and her publicly denouncing Newsom for District Attorney appointments when voters are responsible for electing those positions.

Jenner has reportedly filed paperwork to officially become a Republican candidate, and Fox Nation‘s sweetheart Tomi Lahren is backing the reality star. “California is worth fighting for,” penned Lahren on Instagram in a post that showed her wearing a “Caitlyn for California” hat. “At first I was skeptical of Caitlyn Jenner’s ability to run the state but after hearing her platform of FREEDOM above everything, I am in her corner.”

“I don’t care what pronouns she uses or what lifestyle she choose to live, I believe in someone willing to fight for America and someone who understands limited government is the only way to ensure freedom,” Lahren continued. “I stand with Caitlyn and I can’t wait to watch her give Greasy Gavin a run for his money! Let’s go!”

This is an interesting show of support coming from Lahren, especially for a trans candidate. Lahren has repeatedly taken to social media to actively call out leftists and Democrats for pronoun inclusivity and backed Trump when he passed anti-trans legislation. Check out her post below.

Glasses Malone Is Frustrated With Mase’s Gang Culture Criticism: “Ridiculous”

Not everyone was praising Mase for his recent comments regarding gang culture. The former Bad Boy artist has left his Rap life in the dust as he’s opted to continue his career as a pastor, and like many others, he’s using social media to share his message. Last week, Mase popped up on Instagram with a lengthy post about how the “weakest thing a Black man can do” is “join a street gang.”

“Think about it what type of person would ask you to hurt your own people and take an oath to be there for your gang only to end up not being there for your children and family. I NEVER UNDERSTOOD THAT,” wrote Mase. While many co-signed his comments, Glasses Malone wasn’t impressed.

The Los Angeles artist expressed his disappointment and frustration with HipHopDX. “Over the years I’ve noticed different things with Ma$e. Being critical of people that come from the kind of background that he comes from and him to act totally clueless and ignorant to it, it’s kind of ridiculous. I kind of feel bad for him for even saying that,” said Malone, who grew up in Watts and Compton.

“Ma$e is f*cking tripping. He knows why [kids join gangs]. This is not new,” he added. Especially since everybody’s reason for joining is different. Most of the time, you from where you from before you claim. Everybody else is going to tell you where you from, for the most part. And if people are your friends, like gangbanging ain’t nothing but a bunch of players who are trying to survive.”

“Now you see a bunch of strangers getting together and then uniting under a street moniker or street sign, but real gangbanging in its essence, or the one I participated in is really a bunch of friends trying to survive in the place having a different franchise and it completely lacks opportunity altogether. That’s all a gang is where I’m from. And representing the gang is representing your friends, representing y’all background, y’all struggle, y’all cultural togetherness. That’s all it is.”

Malone added that Mase is “too f*cking educated” to make such remarks and is willing to speak one-on-one with him about this topic. Still, he was baffled that at Harlem World artist. “I think maybe just somebody needs to jar his f*cking memory back so he can remember exactly what’s going on and then if he really wanted to help with it, but he still and the problem is, he can actually help instead of just sitting back there on his brass throne at that church, criticizing somebody.”

Do you agree with Malone or believe Mase was correct in his assessment of gang culture?

Swizz Beatz Labels Kanye West’s Contribution To DMX’s Memorial Service As A ‘Genuine Act Of Love’

Kanye West’s contribution at DMX’s memorial service last month came as a surprise to many. Despite some slight speculation towards his appearance, he wasn’t confirmed as an official guest for the event, and even at that, it wasn’t expected that he and the Sunday Service Choir would provide music for it. However, that’s exactly what happened, and it turned out to be a great way to honor DMX as West, and the choir performed songs like “Ultralight Beam” and Soul II Soul’s “Keep On Movin.’” During a recent interview with Hot 97, Swizz Beatz spoke about West’s involvement in the service.

“It was a very genuine act of love and support from Ye,” Swizz said. “You know, it wasn’t too much talking, it wasn’t no negotiating. X showed up to his Sunday Service and was a big fan of it so I knew that this was something X would want to do, and Kanye was more than happy to facilitate his expertise and his choir. Shout out to the entire Sunday Service.” He added, “It was last minute… people didn’t know what we were dealing with behind the scenes.”

The Sunday Service appearance that Swizz mentioned dates back to May 17, 2019, when DMX appeared at the West-led event less than two months after he was released from prison.

21 Savage Will Release His New EP, ‘Spiral,’ At The End Of The Week

21 Savage went nearly two years without a project when he released Savage Mode II, his joint album with Metro Boomin that arrived last October. The effort was met with widespread acclaim from both fans and critics, as did his previous album, 2019’s I Am > I Was. This time around, fans of 21 Savage won’t have to wait as long for a new body of work from the Atlanta rapper as he just announced his new EP, Spiral, is set to arrive later this week on May 14. He shared the news in a spooky 30-second clip that previewed a track that would presumably appear on the EP.

The Spiral EP is most likely attached to an upcoming film, Spiral: From The Book Of Saw, which also premieres on May 14. At the end of March, it was revealed by Variety that 21 Savage signed on to executive produce the soundtrack for the movie, so it’s likely that the upcoming EP is music for the new film. A month later, the rapper shared, “Spiral,” the title track and first single from the upcoming soundtrack.

Spiral: From The Book Of Saw is a spinoff of the original Saw film and is produced by and stars Chris Rock who appears beside Samuel L. Jackson as a father-son duo who must face a Jigsaw copycat killer.

You can watch the trailer for Spiral in the post above.
