Peter Rosenberg Believes Joe Budden “Will Burn Every Working Relationship He Has”

The podcast wave has been in full effect for years but as time progresses, we’re seeing more artists and rappers launching their own series. It has proven to be lucrative, but within Hip hop culture, the podcast that has made the most noise in recent months is Joe Budden’s show, especially after his longtime friends and co-hosts, Rory Farrell and Jamil “Mal” Clay, parted ways, somewhat bitterly. During a recent appearance on the Higher Learning Podcast, Hot97’s Peter Rosenberg spoke about his involvement with The Joe Budden Podcast while giving his opinion on the Love & Hip Hop star’s attitude.

When asked who he believed was responsible for The Joe Budden Podcast “divorce,“, Rosenberg took a moment before answering. “It’s always Joe,” he said. “I love Joe, but that’s—I didn’t listen to every little clip of them talking sh*t back and forth… It’s Joe’s fault that they broke up, I don’t care what the story is.”

Rosenberg added that Joe gave Rory and Mal “a f*cking career” but stated, “Joe’s an asshole and he will eventually burn every working relationship he has until he figures out why he acts like an asshole.” Yet, Rosenberg said even if Rory and Mal launched a podcast five years ago, they would still only have “18 listeners” because they’re “talented guys that Joe put on.”

After lamenting over the “bros” who stan Joe Budden, Rosenberg revealed he started the podcast in his apartment. “Me, Joe Budden, and Marissa Mendez,” said Rosenbenberg. “I’m the first voice ever on the podcast and my logo is on the first fifty episodes of the podcast. I’m just an idiot who everyone thinks ’cause I’m Jewish I must be sitting on bags of cash, but I actually am just talent and have no business sense at all, so I didn’t handle it at all.”

Lathan questioned whether it was “fair” for Rosenberg to say he started the podcast, so the radio host clarified. “I’m not saying I’m owed anything, and I’m not saying Joe wouldn’t have done it anyway, ’cause he’s a great broadcast talent… But at the same time, you tell me.” Rosenberg detailed how he got a studio and an engineer for the podcast and he’s the first voice on the first episode.

Check out the full episode of the Higher Learning Podcast below and watch Rosenberg somewhere around the halfway mark.

Conor McGregor Sports Crutches With Pride Following Leg Injury

Just a few weeks ago, Conor McGregor suffered the worst injury of his career against Dustin Poirier. While trying to gain his footing after a punch, McGregor snapped his ankle and it was a pretty brutal sight to behold. McGregor immediately forfeited the match and it was a pretty embarrassing result for a fighter who talks so much game before a fight.

Regardless, McGregor has been working hard to forge a comeback and it is believed that he should be able to come back to the UFC within the next year or so. In fact, McGregor has been spending a lot of time out and about these days, and he has no problems when it comes to walking around on his crutches.

Recently, McGregor was spotted by TMZ in Los Angeles where he was exiting the restaurant called Craig’s. In the clip below, Conor was all smiles throughout his trek back to his car, and when asked about his recovery, he said “Three weeks, three days — it’s been good.” Of course, walking on crutches is never ideal although, given the circumstances, it seems as though McGregor is healing quite nicely.

Leg injuries are never easy to return from, so you have to give it to McGregor for toughing it out like this. As for his return to the Octagon, you might have to wait for 2022 before that happens.

Jennifer Aniston Claps Back At Criticisms Over Cutting Off Unvaccinated Friends

One’s decision as to whether or not they decide to receive the COVID-19 vaccine is personal, but as variants of the virus continue to spread, several companies and government institutions are requiring their employees to receive the shot. The vaccine debate has been an ongoing conversation for the better part of a year, and while we all would like the end of the pandemic to arrive sooner than later, there seems to be a long journey ahead before ridding ourselves of COVID.

U.S. citizens from coast-to-coast have been implementing personal guidelines and rules for their homes and workspaces, including Jennifer Aniston who recently shared that she cut off friends who refused to get vaccinated. “There’s still a large group of people who are anti-vaxxers or just don’t listen to the facts. It’s a real shame,” the Friends icon told InStyle in a recent interview.

“I’ve just lost a few people in my weekly routine who have refused or did not disclose [whether or not they had been vaccinated], and it was unfortunate,” Aniston continued. “I feel it’s your moral and professional obligation to inform, since we’re not all podded up and being tested every single day. It’s tricky because everyone is entitled to their own opinion — but a lot of opinions don’t feel based in anything except fear or propaganda.”

Anti-vaxxers stormed social media to bash Aniston for her comments and one person asked why she was so concerned if she was vaccinated. “Because if you have the variant, you are still able to give it to me,” Aniston answered. “I may get slightly sick but I will not be admitted to a hospital and or die. BUT I CAN give it to someone who does not have the vaccine and whose health is compromised (or has a previous existing condition) — and therefore I would put their lives at risk.”

“THAT is why I worry. We have to care about more than just ourselves.” Do you agree with Aniston?

Justin Bieber To Host 3-Day Event In Vegas: “Been Planning This One For A While”

Celebrities are making the most out of stacking their coins with Las Vegas events and residencies, and Justin Bieber is the latest to capitalize. While half of the U.S. is convinced that we’re headed toward another lockdown as the Delta variant of COVID-19 spreads, others are enjoying their time back outside. Vegas has been a hotspot throughout the year and in October, Sin City will host a three-day Bieber takeover.

This has been a plan long in the works, and it’s reported that Bieber will take to the stage for late-night performances. There will also be pop-up events as well, including skate parks and food vendors.

“The Las Vegas Weekender” will go down October 7-10 and it’s being promoted as “Bieber & Friends,” so who knows what other celebrities will make appearances. There are plans for poolside performances as well, and while special guests haven’t been revealed just yet, Bieber promises to give more details as we edge closer to the event.

“Been planning this one for a while… I’m heading to Vegas and I’m taking some friends,” Bieber wrote on Instagram. This is event is in celebration of the new Delilah at the Wynn, and considering the Los Angeles location is a favorite among the famous, the Vegas venue should follow suit.

Check out a flyer for Bieber’s upcoming event below.

Frank Vogel’s Status In Los Angeles Gets Pessimistic Outlook

In Frank Vogel’s first season with the Los Angeles Lakers, he was able to lead the team to an NBA championship in the Orlando Bubble. It was a huge moment for the Lakers as they were the first team to win a title in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. This was also the first year in which LeBron James and Anthony Davis were teammates.

For the most part, Vogel’s tenure in L.A. was looking promising, although that sort of changed this past season as the Lakers struggled down the stretch due to some injuries. While it was believed that Vogel was well on his way towards an extension, it is now being reported by reporter Marc Stein that sources around the league believe Vogel could be left by the wayside if the Lakers don’t have a hot start this season.

Per Stein:

“An extension was widely considered an inevitability in league coaching circles once Vogel joined a list of nine active coaches with a ring on his résumé. Perhaps that extension is still coming, but there have been some increasingly pessimistic rumbles in circulation about Vogel’s prospects for a new deal or anything longer than a one-year extension.”

LeBron can be very particular when it comes to his head coaches, and as we’ve seen over the years, if LeBron doesn’t like the direction of the team, he can get changes made very quickly. Considering Vogel already has a title to his name, he certainly has more leeway, although that could evaporate if this new-look Lakers team lacks chemistry.

Nicki Minaj’s Husband Kenneth Petty Gets Plea Deal: Report

As she celebrates milestones of her career and works on her next record, Nicki Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty hasn’t been making too many social media appearances. There was quite the controversy when Nicki shared that she was marrying her longtime friend, and while the Barbz sent her well wishes, others were quick to point out that Petty was imprisoned after being convicted of first-degree attempted rape in 1995.

We previously reported on Petty’s run-in with the law last year after he made California his permanent residence in 2019. Nicki’s husband reportedly failed to register as a sex offender in California, so a case was built against him and he reportedly pleaded not guilt to the charge.

According to TMZ, federal prosecutors have offered Petty a plea deal: “plead guilty to one count of failing to register, and in return, the feds say they will seek a sentence at the low end of the guidelines.” It is unclear how long that sentence may be, but it was reported that the bare minimum is being considered with five years of supervised release.

Agreeing to the deal may have been in Petty’s best interest, considering the maximum he was facing behind bars was 10 years if convicted with supervised release for the rest of his life. It will now be up to a judge to determine Petty’s punishment.

Alex Caruso Pens A Fond Farewell To The Lakers

Over the last few years, Alex Caruso has blossomed into a cult hero amongst NBA circles. After playing in the G-League, Caruso was able to work his way up to the NBA where he thrived with the Los Angeles Lakers. Whenever he played on the court with LeBron James, Caruso showcased tremendous defense and his playmaking ability was quite good as well. While he was by no means a superstar, it was clear that he meant a lot to the team and its collective chemistry.

This past week, Caruso officially left the Lakers as he signed a four-year, $37 million deal with the Chicago Bulls. Now, Caruso will get to play with Lonzo Ball, DeMar DeRozan, and Zach LaVine who are expected to take this Bulls team to the playoffs next season. Despite leaving the franchise, Caruso is still grateful for the times he had in L.A., and on Instagram today, Caruso said thanks for all of the memories.

Per Caruso:

“Where to begin.. the past 4 years in LA have been nothing short of special. Allowing an undrafted kid from College Station, Texas to create a career playing basketball in the NBA. Thank you to the SBL and LAL front offices, all my SBL and LAL coaches, and all my teammates for believing in me and allowing me to be myself. I’ve been privileged to call this prestigious franchise my home and I’ll forever be grateful. Lastly, to the fans, THANK YOU! from the jump y’all appreciated my effort and love for the game ..I’m glad I could repay y’all with helping this franchise hoist another banner.”

Caruso got to win an NBA title with the Lakers and for many players, that is the ultimate dream. Even if Caruso never wins another title, he will always have that one ring from the NBA bubble. Regardless, Caruso has a huge opportunity ahead of him and it will be fun to see how he progresses as a player.

Russell Westbrook Unveils His Lakers Jersey

Russell Westbrook was one of the biggest stars to watch throughout the offseason as fans expected him to request a trade out of Washington. While such a request was never made public, fans ultimately heard about his displeasure in D.C. due to reports that he was going to be traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers gave up Kyle Kuzma, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and Montrezl Harrell for Westbrook, which turned out to be a fantastic deal for the purple and gold.

Westbrook is friends with LeBron and it has been reported that both players have been discussing this move for quite a while. LeBron knew his Lakers needed a third superstar to round out the roster, and now, they have him.

With Westbrook arriving in Los Angeles, fans have been waiting to see his Lakers jersey. They have also been waiting to see if he would take the number 0 which had been worn by Kuzma over the past four years. As Westbrook revealed on his IG story today, he will be taking the number 0, and there is no doubt that his name looks good written out in Lakers purple.

If you are a Lakers fan, Westbrook’s jersey might prove to be a must-cop piece of attire, especially if he gets off to a hot start with the franchise. Some fans are worried about spacing, however, Westbrook, Davis, and LeBron all have the same goal which should be conducive to some great chemistry.
