Kyle Kuzma Unveils Who His Favorite Lakers Teammate Was

Kyle Kuzma was a controversial player during his time with the Los Angeles Lakers, although the controversy wasn’t always fair. After the arrival of Anthony Davis, Kuzma’s role on the team was diminished and it led to a lack of confidence while on the floor. Regardless, Kuzma has retained his value over the years, and he is now off to Washington where he gets a fresh start with the Wizards. Of course, Kuzma was sent to Washington as part of the package deal for Russell Westbrook.

Now, Kuzma is sitting at home waiting to join the Wizards for training camp, and to help pass the time, he has been interacting with his fans on social media. Recently, Kuzma had himself a Q&A on Twitter, where he was asked a plethora of questions from Lakers fans.

One fan asked Kuzma who his favorite Lakers teammate was, and the answer may be a bit surprising. As you can see in the tweet below, Kuzma claims that Jared Dudley was his favorite teammate, although he doesn’t elaborate on why. If you know anything about Dudley, you can probably guess that Kuzma likes him for his veteran presence in the locker room, and his ability to diffuse bad situations. Dudley is the ultimate glue guy and while he may not get a lot of minutes, he is still beloved by his teammates.

LeBron James fans are probably going to take this as a slight to the Lakers superstar, although it certainly shouldn’t be received that way. LeBron isn’t going to be the answer to every question, and his fans are just going to have to deal with that.

Jay-Z & Kanye West Were Planking On Millions On “Gotta Have It”

There might not be a better way to have capped off the tail end of the Roc-A-Fella era than a joint effort between a founding member and his most successful pupil. Kanye West and Jay-Z stood atop of the world when they dropped Watch The Throne in 2011, arguably the best collaborative album that’s emerged in hip-hop. The two rappers reflected on their accumulative successes, as well as the world that surrounded them. Moments like “Murder To Excellence” explored the wealth disparity in America while records like “N***as in Paris” remain timeless bangers that still go off ’til this day.

On “Gotta Have It,” Jay-Z and Kanye West reflect on the opulent life that rap has afforded them. With dazzling production from Kanye and The Neptunes, they flip three James Brown tracks into a hypnotic soundscape that perfectly serve ‘Ye and Hov’s chemistry. The Throne brings braggodocious bars that in many ways capture 2011, from Jay’s reference to planking on a million to Kanye’s mention of LeBron’s stint with the Miami Heat.

Peep the record below.

Quotable Lyrics

What’s up, what’s up, what’s up, what’s up, motherfucker? Where my money at?
You gon’ make me come down to your house where your mommy at
Mummy wrap the kids, have ’em cryin’ for they mommy back
Dummy that your daddy is, tell him I just want my racks
Racks on racks on racks (Racks)
Maybachs on ‘Bachs on ‘Bachs on ‘Bachs on ‘Bachs
Who in that? Oh shit, it’s just Blacks on Blacks on Blacks
Hundred stack, how you get it? N***a, layin’ raps on tracks

Sean O’Malley Reveals Whether Or Not He Would Fight Jake Paul

Sean O’Malley is becoming a massive star in the UFC thanks to his unique style and exciting fights. O’Malley hopes to become a champion someday and fans are expecting him to do big things over the next few years. With that being said, O’Malley stands to make a lot of money throughout his career, however, he is well-aware of the limitations set forth by Dana White and the UFC.

For instance, O’Malley recently sat down with Adam 22 on No Jumper for a conversation about his career and the current state of the fight game. O’Malley is good friends with Jake Paul, who is currently making a lot of money in the boxing world. As a result, Adam asked O’Malley if he would ever consider fighting Jake or another influencer if the money was right. While O’Malley is open to the idea, he is primarily focused on his work with the UFC.

“I plan on staying with the UFC, they’ve been nothing but good for me,” O’Malley said. “If there is $10-$20 million bags out there being offered, you know we’ll see. The UFC don’t pay you like that, they just don’t. Eventually if I get to a Conor level and I can make that money, but I have to become champion, defend the belt, probably move up. […] I’m making good money from the UFC because they give me that platform. But if you want to make millions, it’s in boxing.”

Needless to say, O’Malley is happy right where he is right now. Of course, this could very well change, especially with just how fickle the fight game tends to be.

Lil Nas X Vows To Return To “Cowboy Era” After His “Gay Era”

Another day, another trolling tweet from Lil Nas X.

After his most recent exercises in capturing the public’s attention, the “Industry Baby” creator is already looking toward the past for a cue of the future.

In a recent tweet, he indicated that after his newest album arrives he’ll be swapping out his current image for another, returning to a time in which he blurring genre lines and collaborating with Billy Ray Cyrus.

“After i drop the album i will be finish with my gay era and returning to my cowboy era,” he penned.

It was a fruitful era, indeed, as the “cowboy era” produced 2018’s “Old Town Road,” which has since gone on to be 14 times Platinum, a record in the history of the Recording Industry Association of America.

Yet, his “gay era,” as he puts it, has proven to have its successes, too. So far, it’s given fans his “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” and Jack Harlow-assisted “Industry Baby.” Both tracks have gone head to head on the Billboard 100 while boosting Lil Nas X to a de facto position in defending the social and creative liberties of the queer community.

The album in question is the self-titled Montero outing that will serve as Lil Nas X’s official debut, following up on his EP. No word yet on its official arrival.

Former Aaron Rodgers Teammate Claims QB Will Play For The Saints

Aaron Rodgers had some well-publicized issues with the Green Bay Packers this summer as he was looking to get traded away from the franchise. Rodgers held out of various team workouts and events, although in the end, he came back to the Packers on a new contract that will allow him to leave after this season if he so chooses. After drafting Jordan Love in 2020, Rodgers has been left with a bad taste in his mouth and for a while, it seemed like the relationship was irreparable.

Now, Rodgers has at least one more year with the Packers, and all eyes will be on him as the season begins in September. Fans want to see if Rodgers has what it takes to still be an elite-level talent in the NFL, while others are curious as to where he will land beyond 2021.

Will Blackmon, a former teammate of Rodgers, took to TMZ recently where he gave his own hypothesis on what will happen to Rodgers. Blackmon firmly believes that Rodgers will be going to the New Orleans Saints in 2022 and that he will be done with the Packers, regardless of how successful they are this season. The Saints were certainly on Rodgers’ watchlist this offseason, especially with their up-in-the-air quarterback situation.

For now, however, Blackmon’s hypothesis is simply conjectured, and there is no telling what will happen this season. Rodgers is a hard guy to read and that trend will certainly continue in 2021.

Nas Brings It Back To Queensbridge On “Store Run”

It’s hard to believe that it took over 25 years for Nas to receive his well-deserved recognition from the Grammys. King’s Disease won the Best Rap Album of the year in 2020 at the award show but the album felt more significant than just a trophy. Riding high off of the accolade, the rapper returned on Friday with the sequel to the album, entirely produced by Hit-Boy.

The project boasts 15 songs in total with an eclectic collection of collaborations alongside everyone from Eminem and EPMD to A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Blxst. However, the best moments often occur when Nas is left to his own devices. On “Store Run,” Hit-Boy chops up a warm, soulful vocal sample as Nas brings it back to his days in Queensbridge. “I’m from the era of razor blades and coke dust,” he raps on the track, reflecting on his humble beginnings to his rise in the tech world with hope of bringing more opportunities back to his old stomping grounds.

Quotable Lyrics

Pouring this white wine, you could Richard Millie your left wrist
Keep in perspective, we on God’s time (The world is yours)
What happens when dealers reduce to addicts?
What happens when kings don’t see their potential status?
What’s your exit plan? Face to face with my omens, I never ran
Stood on stages most never can, pyrotechnics and leather pants

Does Travis Scott Have A Nike Air Trainer 1 Collab On The Way?

Travis Scott has become one of the biggest influences in the sneaker world over the past few years, and it is all thanks to his work with Nike and Jordan Brand. After delivering some Air Force 1 Low collabs to the world in 2017, Travis went over to Jumpman and created the Air Jordan 4 “Cactus Jack” which was an instant classic. Since then, he has released a plethora of other Nike collabs on models such as the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 6, and even the Nike SB Dunk Low.

Following the release of the Fragment x Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 High, fans have been waiting to see what Travis would bring out next, and it looks like we may have a bit of a hint thanks to the Instagram account @ovrnundr.io.

In the Instagram post below, you can see Travis sporting what appears to be a Nike Air Trainer 1 Mid with a backward swoosh on the sides. If you’ve been following Travis for some time, you would know that the backward swoosh has effectively become his signature look. With this in mind, it should come as no surprise that Travis would be sporting new kicks with this unique aesthetic.

The existence of the shoe suggests that this could very well be one of Travis’ next collaborations, although there is no word yet on whether or not this is simply just a random sample.

Keep it locked to HNHH as we will be sure to bring you all of the latest updates from the sneaker world.

Francis Ngannou Challenges Cyril Gane Following Win Over Derrick Lewis

Last night was huge for UFC heavyweight Cyril Gane as he came through and defeated Derrick Lewis to win the interim title. Gane has been rising through the ranks of the UFC as of late and his win against Lewis means he remains undefeated in his MMA career. From start to finish, Gane dominated Lewis and it came as a big surprise to UFC fans. Gane eventually ended Lewis in the third round, and it was a massive victory that had the crowd on its feet.

The winner of this match is supposed to get a shot at fighting Francis Ngannou for the Heavyweight title. Originally, fans thought a Lewis and Ngannou rematch was a given, although now, the plans have changed as Gane is clearly the better challenger.

Ngannou took notice of Gane’s skills last night and decided to take to Twitter where he challenged the French fighter in a playful way. “Impressive performance from Gane! He’s now a legit contender. See you soon boy. When you know you know,” Ngannou wrote.

With a depleted UFC 265 card, Gane and Lewis were able to carry the evening, and in the end, a new star was born. If Ngannou and Gane come through with a classic title fight, then we can officially say the heavyweight division is in good hands.
