The demon is back.
After taking a hiatus from music and social media, 6ix9ine makes his return with his new single “GINÉ,” named after an energy drink. On his first release in a year-and-a-half, the notorious troll gets back to his wild ways.
“I shot at all y’all rappers / Real life, no cap,” he raps while surrounded by his crew and scantily-clad women in the video. “The feds charged me for that, whole fu**in’ case, so eat a dick, little ni**a.”
He also appears to once again take aim at Lil Durk following the death of King Von. “Your man got shot and you made a diss track / Go get a gun and get some get back / Your man got shot, he not coming back,” he raps.
This marks the first music from Tekashi since his 2020 album TattleTales, which spawned the No. 1 hit “Trollz” with Nicki Minaj.
“When I left and took a break I didn’t say a word to no one,” he said while addressing his hiatus. “I didn’t need to explain nothing. I JUST DID IT. I woke up and now I want to take over again. Now get out of my way. The King of New York is back.”
And he’s already creating more enemies. This week, he trolled Fivio Foreign over his album sales after the “City of Gods” rapper challenged his “King of New York” title.
He also claimed that his music is being “blackballed.” “Don’t compare me to any other rapper on our releases,” said Tekashi. “They get editorial playlisting on Spotify and Apple + radio spins,” he wrote. “For me to compete I have to fight ten times harder. I know it’s a trend to hate 69 but facts are facts. Carry on.”
