2025 is off to an exciting start for Coi Leray and Trippie Redd, as they just announced that they’re expecting their first child together. The couple revealed that they were an item once again back in August, roughly five years after their breakup. They appear to be doing better than ever, and fans can’t wait to see them embark on a new chapter.

As the couple gets ready for all of these major changes, their fans have been curious about what kind of roles certain family members will play in the child’s life, especially when it comes to Coi’s father Benzino. Their relationship is complicated, to say the least, and the two of them haven’t always gotten along. With that being said, it looks like the Source icon is ready and willing to make things work for the sake of his grandchild-to-be. Benzino Says Rocky Relationship With Daughter Coi Leray Shouldn’t Impact His Bond With Her Child

“It’s gonna grow her up. I hope it does,” he began. “Because she’ll finally get to know what it is to be a parent. She’ll get to see first-hand what I was going through.” Benzino continued, revealing whether or not he thinks Coi will allow him to be a part of the child’s life. According to him, their rocky relationship shouldn’t impact his bond with his grandchild.

“Nobody really understood my relationship with my daughter before she was a rap star,” he explained. Nobody was there, regardless of when me and her mother split apart…Believe me, that bay gon’ it’s granddad. It’s important for me to get my message to that baby. Regardless of whatever we’re going through, that ain’t got nothing to do with the grandbaby.” As for Trippie, Benzino said he’d like to “holla” at him now that he’s expecting a baby with his daughter.

Chance The Rapper Finalizes Divorce From Kirsten Corley

Chance The Rapper has settled his divorce with his ex-wife, Kirsten Corley. According to TMZ, the two have filed documents in Cook County, Illinois confirming with the court they’ve agreed on a settlement to finalize their divorce. Further details on the terms of their settlement have yet to be made public.

Chance and Corley initially began dating back in September 2013 and officially tied the knot in December 2018. Reminiscing on meeting Corley days before the ceremony on social media, he wrote: “I knew I was gonna marry that girl. Sixteen years later it’s happening. This wknd is the time, and the place is my wedding. I’m gonna dance with my wife because this is my destiny.” They share two young daughters, Kensli and Marli. Chance has referenced his relationship with Corley in numerous songs over the years.

The two first announced their separation in April of last year. “After a period of separation, the two of us have arrived at the decision to part ways,” they wrote on Instagram at the time. “We came to this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together.” Corley cited irreconcilable differences in her divorce filing.

In other news, Chance recently shared a snippet of a new song with his long-time collaborator, Vic Mensa. On the heartfelt song, Chance raps: “It’s 100 bags under the underpass / rumbling stomaches / cups jingle when humans pass / brisket winds, summer’s done / winter is coming fast / then they Zoom teacher wonder why they don’t come to class.” Chance and Mensa didn’t provide further details on when fans could expect the full song to release.

Jay-Z’s Alleged Son Passionately Pleads With The Rapper To Take A Paternity Test

Jay-Z’s alleged 31-year-old son, Rymir Satterthwaite, has pleaded with the rapper to take a paternity test, as he continues to claim his late mother, Wanda, told him she allegedly had a brief relationship with Jay in 1992. He spoke about his decade-long legal battle over the allegation during a recent interview with Daily Mail. In doing so, he clarified that he doesn’t want money or fame, but to learn the truth.

“If he is not, why can’t he prove me wrong?” Rymir told the outlet. “Go to the court room and do what everyone else has to do. I can take a no. I can take being embarrassed, I been through a lot. I could take me being embarrassed, I just can’t take him not saying nothing. It is not fair. I am coming to the courts for the truth.”

He added that he doesn’t harbor any ill will towards Jay. “I would never hate Jay-Z, I respect him for everything he did. I have been going through a whole lot for so many years because of this case. Me and my mom and my god mom we have seen the worst in people. Slandering my name saying I want Jay-Z money,” he said. “I am going to fight until I am not here no more. If it takes another 10 years. Another 50. I may take this to the grave with me. But everyone can say I fought this until the end… I am not trying to do this to make anyone seem like a bad person or a bad father.”

An anonymous woman also accused him and Diddy of allegedly raping her at a party in 2000, when she was just 13 years old.
