The Weeknd Announces Snoh Aalegra, Kaytranada, and Mike Dean to Join Him on Tour
The Weeknd has found replacements for his upcoming Stadium Tour. After Doja Cat was forced to bow out due to tonsil surgery, The Weeknd has added a trio of acts to support him on his global run of dates.
According to Variety, The Weeknd has announced Snoh Aalegra, Kaytranada, and Mike Dean for the 19 dates.

Earlier this year, The Weeknd and Kaytranada collaborated on a remix of “Out Of Time.” Dawn FM, his fifth studio album, has had over 2 billion streams worldwide, including 160 million for the song “Out Of Time.”
The Weekend released the music video for “Out Of Time” earlier this year. Cliqua directed the video, which starred Jim Carrey, also featured in the song, and South Korean model and actress HoYeon Jung. The Weeknd’s earlier songs “Blinding Lights” and “Starboy” were also certified by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The Weeknd becomes only the sixth solo artist to get three diamond digital single awards with these certifications.

Chaka Zulu Reportedly Returned Fire in Self-Defense During Atlanta Shooting
Earlier this week, Chaka Zulu was wounded in a shooting in the Buckhead area of Atlanta. In a new development, Chaka Zulu reportedly fired back in self-defense in the shooting.
According to TMZ, multiple sources stated Chaka Zulu was outside of the APT 4B restaurant. When Chaka, his assistant, and his friend were leaving an event, Chaka was approached by a man leading to a verbal altercation. Another man nearby can be seen grabbing at his waistband.
A woman pushed the second man away from the altercation, but he reentered the area that eventually turned physical. After Chaka grabbed one of the men by the collar, multiple other men rushed in and knocked him down. A man in between cars would fire two shots and Chaka raised to his feet to return a shot.
Chaka Zulu is currently listed in critical condition from one gunshot wound to the chest.
According to 11Alive, Zulu and two other men were shot around 11:35 p.m. near Peachtree Road.
One of the men that were shot with Chaka Zulu did not survive. The custody of Zulu and the other victim has not been released.
Previously law enforcement stated the shooting was the result of a disagreement behind the strip mall. There are no suspects in custody and the investigation is ongoing.
In addition to his work with Ludacris, Chaka Zulu has represented Big K.R.I.T, Jeezy, Bobby Valentino, and more, while also holding positions at Spotify and Monster.

Lil Tjay Alert and Speaking But Still Hospitalized Following Surgery After Shooting
Lil Tjay is alert and talking following a shooting last week in New Jersey.
According to TMZ, Lil Tjay is still hospitalized but is beginning to recover and is speaking on his own. Lil Tjay is no longer on the breathing tube and his voice reportedly sounds the same.
Lil Tjay was reportedly shot in the chest and neck.
Lil Tjay underwent emergency surgery after being shot on June 22 in Edgewater, NJ.
Lil Tjay was shot multiple times by Mohamed Konate. Konate was arrested but also sustained gunshot wounds. Surveillance video at the hospital shows someone driving up and leaving Konate on the ground.
Konate was charged with 3 counts of first-degree attempted murder. Two men that were with Tjay were arrested for second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon.

SOURCE SPORTS: Kevin Durant Directly Asks Nets Owner Joe Tsai for a Trade
Kevin Durant sent ripple effects through the NBA world on Thursday when he formally asked for a trade. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, KD made a direct trade request to Nets owner Joe Tsai.
Brooklyn Nets general manager Sean Marks is working alongside Durant and his business partner Rich Kleiman to find a new home for Durant. KD has named the Phoenix Suns and Miami HEAT as where he would like to play next. ESPN noted over half of the NBA contacted the Nets to check into Durant’s availability.
Durant’s trade request comes just days after Nets co-star Kyrie Irving decided to return to the team to “full his commitment” to the organization and Durant. Now the belief is Irving will also be moved. Options for Irving currently include the Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks.
Durant and Irving reportedly have had no contact with the Nets after opting into his deal. There is a small possibility that the Nets could move Irving and Durant together.
Last year, Durant averaged 29.9 points, 7.4 points, and 6.4 assists. Durant is under contract for the next four years.
