Mike Tomlin Reveals If Antonio Brown Will Ever Return To Pittsburgh

Mike Tomlin is a championship-winning coach, so it shouldn’t be overstated that he knows a thing or two about work ethic and how to get to the top. Over the years, Tomlin has had the chance to coach some pretty incredible players, including none other than Antonio Brown. Of course, Brown’s time with the Steelers came to an unceremonious end a few years ago, but now, he seems to be looking for a reunion.

Just a few months ago, Brown stated that he would love to retire as a Steeler. Recently, Tomlin was on The Pivot podcast where he was asked about such a scenario. Tomlin pretty well said that it’s not going to happen, however, he did have plenty of praise for his former wide receiver. In fact, Tomlin went in-depth on just how hard of a worker Brown truly is.

Per Tomlin:

“I don’t think enough gets said about the will of that dude. About the work ethic of that dude. About the fearlessness in which he played the game. Is fear ever a factor in his play? … I’ve never seen him blink on the football field I’ve never seen him shy away from anything that was uncomfortable on the football field. I’ve only seen him run into burning buildings on the football field. We talk about all this other stuff, man, but we don’t talk about that. Unbelievable will. Unbelievable work ethic. Unbelievable belief in himself. That’s what I think about when I think about the nine years I spent with that dude.

“With success comes a lot of things. Some we deal with well, some we don’t. Some he dealt with well, some of it he didn’t. Some of it changed him in ways that were not as attractive. Someways he grew and grew in a big way … Success is a slippery red carpet.”

Brown has certainly had his issues over the years, but no one can knock him for not giving his all on the field. He is considered one of the best wide receivers to ever lace them up, and that won’t change regardless of his antics.

Money Man Announces New Album “Big Money,” Dropping Friday

Money Man has become one of the most prolific and ear-catching artists to emerge as of late, someone who is constantly espousing the benefits of independence to his fans after paying his way out of his contract with Cash Money. It seems he’s ready to feed fans once again, as he took to Twitter and Instagram to announce his new album Big Money.

The Georgia-based rapper’s new project which is slated to drop Friday, June 24, is part of his ten-album deal with EMPIRE, which has allowed him to have more ownership of his music and still produce it under his Black Circle Family label, with distribution being handled by EMPIRE. According to the album’s page on Apple Music, it will boast features from G Herbo, Nardo Wick, BC Jroc, Benny the Butcher, Peezy, and Juney Knotzz.

Money Man is known for hits like “How It Feel” and “24,” which got a remix from Lil Baby, and his 2020 mixtape Epidemic is credited with launching him into the mainstream. With 21 projects under his belt, though, it feels like he’s been in the game for much longer.

Since the release of Epidemic, he dropped another project in 2020 titled State of Emergency, 2021’s Blockchainand the EP Whale Games which was just released this April. As far as singles for this new Big Money album, he released the self-titled track as the first single a few weeks ago and followed up with the single “New York” last week. “Big Money” is a grand, dramatic, and decedent-sounding piano-trap cut, whereas “New York” swaps out the braggadocious orchestration and opulence for a smooth, guitar-driven relationship jam.

These new tracks (and whatever bangers show up on Big Money) are sure to add to Money Man’s essential catalog. This is the rapper’s biggest win following a streak of high-profile highlights in his career. He became the first artist to be paid in cryptocurrency by his label, receiving an advance of $1 million in Bitcoin from EMPIRE for his album deal. Given his 2021 project Blockchain and NFT investments, it’s clear that the Atlanta rapper is hustling hard in that industry and finding a lot of success. He also surprised Houston fans with sneakers and clothes as gifts for the Christmas season last year.

While we eagerly wait for the next step in Money Man’s career to release this Friday, you can check out our November 2020 interview with him here.

Tory Lanez Says Chris Brown’s “Breezy” Album Will “F*ck The Whole Summer Up”

Chris Brown has been teasing the release of a new album for months now. Last month, things finally started to snowball when the R&B singer posted a picture on his Instagram that read, “Breezy,’ coming soon.” Not long after, he announced that Breezy would be dropping Friday, June 24.

As we look forward to the release of Brown’s 10th studio album, his peers are letting us know what to expect. Earlier today, Tory Lanez shared a tweet hyping up Brown’s album.

“Mark my words ….. @chrisbrown is going to drop in a few … AND HES GUNNA FUCK THE WHOLE SUMMER UP I heard the album dawg … LIEK 3 months ago ….the nigga got this song called “pass the time” …..OMGSH but beyond that whole album is all BANGERS . WATCH NIGGA.”

As Lanez said, he got the chance to listen to Brown’s album months ago, and he was just as enthusiastic then about Breezy as he is now. In April Lanez first wrote on Twitter concerning the album, “This N***a @chrisbrown played me some new music a few nights ago,” he tweeted. “THIS N***A IS BOUT TO GO SO CRAZYY ….. every song was a banger! Like every one.”

The Canadian singer-slash-rapper is rumored to be featured on Brown’s forthcoming album. Last month Brown wrote many of his peers’ names on his IG story without much context, Lanez included. The other artists were WizKID, Yung Bleu (or BLEU), Ella Mai, H.E.R., Lil Wayne, Blxst, Anderson .Paak, Jack Harlow, Fivio Foreign, and EST Gee. Despite the lack of confirmation, fans quickly speculated that the artists listed are all Breezy collaborators. Furthering this theory, the singer dropped off a new Breezy single last Friday, titled “Call Me Everyday,” featuring WizKid. The song title was also included on a tracklist Brown shared on his Instagram earlier this month too.

Check back for Chris Brown’s new album on Friday.

Doechii Switches Between Flows On XXL Freshman Freestyle

Doechii has been impressing fans with her music over these last few years. Her consistency has been downright impressive, and this past year, she was rewarded with a contract from Top Dawg Entertainment. TDE is one of the most respected labels in all of hip-hop, and if they sign an artist, then it’s clear they see the true potential in that person.

In fact, Doechii has been making such big waves that her efforts landed her on the XXL Freshman List for 2022. This is always a big honor for any artist, and now, Doechii will get to showcase her talents in an array of content pieces, including ciphers and freestyles.

Speaking of freestyles, Doechii’s 90-second freestyle was officially released by XXL today, and there is no doubt that the artist put some thought into it. There are a plethora of flows to be had here, and as you can see from the comments, Doechii’s performance was quite polarizing. She even let off a scream in the middle of it for good measure, and some people just didn’t know what to make of it.

Regardless, Doechii delivered her lines with complete confidence, and it’s clear she is feeling herself with bars like “First bitch that rap, TDE/Top, Moo, and Punch, vouch for me/First day, label knew they hit the lottery/Now I’m the bitch you ever after, happily.”

Let us know what you think of this new freestyle, in the comments section down below.
